Unable to move at all, the attack struck Cassie and her bucked her head. "Stant!" She cried out, loosing her neck a bit more from the melting ice.
"Hang in there!" Just another turn and they'd be back in the battle. Just hang on...she thought.

((The rock smash does 200 damage cause of the attack boost and super effective ness))
The ice was starting to melt, but a least they'll be able to get in some hits before the Stantler thawed out.
"Another Rock smash!" Piney shouted. "Make sure not to break the ice!"
Twilight wasn't sure if she doing that the first time. She was still stuck after all. The absol charged at her opponent again, flinging herself head first at top speed.

"Cassie..." Choppi bit her lower lip until it bled a bit. This wasn't very good. In almost all her battles Cassie had been frozen and beaten on. They'd have to train harder, after this fight. Pokecenter first. Always.
"Hold on girl, it's almost over!"
Cassie bobbled her head up and down as her eyes teared. It was so cold and painful out here. All she could do was wait.

((Uh, I think 200 from the first attack and 350 from the second would make your HP 450? ^^; ))
Piney almost felt sorry for Cassie. She was basically beating a helpless opponent up, but she didn't want to stop now. They were so close to winning!
"Rock smash again!"
Twilight was thinking that this was a bit like a game, but she did pity her still. She launched herself at her once more, more gently since the ice could break if she did this too hard.

Ice shattering, the Stantler stomped her hooves before hopping away from the ground she'd been stuck to for the longest time. "Staaaaaannt!"
"Hypnosis!"
Jumping right back into the frey, they had to make up for lost time. The 'eyes' on the stantlers horns flashed and lit up with a glowing light, that was soooo soothing, and made you feel content and safe....good enough to fall asleep...if you looked at it that is....

What was this? Twilight stared at the antlers in fascination, not aware of what they were really doing. The lights were so pretty and shiny... She didn't try to look away until Piney told her too, and by then, it was too late. She was fast asleep and snoring.
"Twilight! That's a Hypnosis! Don't look at it- Oh hell." Piney swore. It was going to take a while for the Absol to wake up, since she was still physically and mentally a puppy. She stood there, not knowing what to do for the moment. Then her snoring gave her an idea.
"Use a Snore attack!"
Somehow, Twilight heard her trainer's command and started snoring loudly.

This was going to be a battle to remember, Choppi could tell. The stantler tottered back, unawares of the power of the absol's snoring. Wishing she had the power to cover her ears, she mumbled in pain.
"S-stant....ler...." Cassie wibbled.
"Hang in there! Use Dream Eater!"
There was a chance that attacking from a dreamworld would make extra tasty dreams to eat, if Picasso could really get into her mind. Thinking hard, the 'eyes' flashed again on her antlers as she submerged herself into Twilight's dreaing mind. This was it, and all Choppi could do was wait.

Twilight's dreams were really quite happy and fluffy, and she was completely unaware of the attack. Only the fact that she was a dark type made her immune to Cassie's dream eating. She continued to sleep on peacefully, unaware of anything going on in the battle.
Piney breathed a sigh of relief, seeing as she wasn't going to go down just yet.
"Another Snore!" Who thought that this battled would be won on the account of snoring.
Again, Twilight managed to hear the command somehow and began snoring loudly. It almost sounded like a bulldozer.

The attack missed and it was a small victory for the pair. Bobbling her head, Cassie felt dizzy.
"Double Kick!" Choppi yelled, it was a defensive move for their team mainly. Perhaps this would at least cause a bit more damage before the battle ended.
Hooves kicking up through the air at lightning speed, Cassie clenched her eyes and waited to see if they hit.

Twilight whimpered when she took a faceful of hoof. She stumbled backwards, rubbing her paw on the spot where she was hit, twice. Already hurt from the many Fury cutters from Hannah, she wasn't sure if she could take another Double kick.
Piney could see that as well, and would've normally switched out to spare Twilight from fainting. But if she could get another hit in, there'll be no need as they'll have won the match.
"Rock Smash!" It might be more difficult because Cassie freed herself from the ice, but it should still do enough damage.
The Absol charged at her opponent, picking up speed with every step until she launched herself at the last minute, hoping that she'd connect and not barrel into something like the swings.

The rock smashed into the stantler, knocking her sideways with her vision spinning. Stumbling to the side, this was it. A last ditch attempt to work it out. But it was too late. Flopping to the side, Cassie fell over unable to battle. Withdrawing the pokemon back into it's pokeball. Choppi gave the top of the orb a kiss. Tying it to the opposing pigtail, she nodded contently.
Both of them fought so hard. She was proud of them.
Smiling at Piney, she hopped from her platform and ran over to the other girl. Making it to the other side, she giggled at Piney. "You are an excellent fighter, and your pokemon partners do their best for you. I wish you all the best in your battle with the Gym Leader." A hand was extended to congratulate her opponent.

"Thank you. You're a really powerful trainer too, and the battle might have been easily won by you." Piney recalled Twilight back into her Pokeball before shaking Choppi's hand. The absol definitely deserved a good rest, along with Era. "I can't battle Luna quite yet, but I'm getting there, thanks to you.
Maybe next time we fight it won't be for a badge. But bye for now." She said cheerfully before turning to leave.
