"Nice Jump Gwen!" said Yukino, happy Gwen had decided to join the jumping fun. She looked over at Castiel to watch him as he improved as well. This was turning out to be quite a productive day for ice skating. Everyone was getting better!

]Though Gwen didn't show it very well, she was thoroughly happy with yukino's praise. She smiled slightly and decided to try it again.
Castiel looked up when he heard Yukino speaking to Gwen. He had missed the jump. He looked at Yukino and was glad to see her attention was back on him. "I'm doing it nice, right?"

Yukino nodded with a smile, "Yep! You sure are." He wasn't skating as well as Gwen was yet, but he was improving. She skated around for a moment and, sensing something was happening, looked over at Gwen to see her trying the jump again. She signaled over to Castiel for him to look at Gwen too and get to see her jump.

Gwen carefully took the jump again, leaping into the air a bit. Half way through the jump she attempted to twist her body to do a spin in the air. She didn't make it all the way around and ended up landing backwards, having done almost a 180. She quickly caught her balanced and waited until she slid to a stop.
Castiel caught Yukino's signal and turned to look at Gwen just in time to see her jump. "Whoa! What are you trying to do," he laughed. "I bet I can do that!" he exclaimed excitedly.

Yukino smiled and asked, "Were you trying to jump and land backwards? I heard that's a kind of trick. The momentum will let you keep going backwards too, and you can turn around and skate forwards after you finish." She wondered how Castiel would fare with such a jump (knowing he'll definitely try it), thinking that she might try it after he did.

Gwen looked at Yukino and tilted her head a little. "I was trying to turn completely around. I suppose it could work the way I did it though.... I do like your idea. I bet you could make it look great," she was trying to encourage Yukino to try more jumps.
"Watch me! Watch me!" Castiel exclaimed, not really listening to the conversation anymore. He started running toward the middle of the ice, then suddenly leaped as high as he could, wings flapping wildly as he tried to mimic Gwen. The momentum of his body, the amount he twisted his body, added together with the flapping of his wings caused him to spin out of control and finally land on his back paws. He lost his balance and fell forward, sprawling out and sliding across the ice.

"I can try! I wonder if I'll be able to do it," She said smiling. Then she looked over to Castiel and watched as he attempted the move. She winced when he messed up the landing, and skated over to him. "Are you alright?" She asked.

Gwen watched in silence. And though she seemed calm, inwardly she was gasping. "Oh, Castiel..." She frowned a little, and slowly started skating toward him.
"I'm alright! I'm alright ..." he scrambled to his feet as soon as he realized what had happened. But upon standing, a sharp pain shot through one of his back ankles and he involuntarily let out a small yelp.

Yukino slid over to him, noticing the yelp when he stood up. "Do you think you sprained your leg or ankle?" She asked, thinking that seemed more logical than him breaking a bone since he was still standing, not to mention the lack of any crack following the spill.
