"That would be so neat! A place where the snow never melts?" he imagined his winter wonderland again, then looked down at Peter's as well as his own paws. He couldn't really feel them at this point which wasn't a good sign, but he didn't care too much about that. "Are you cold Peter? 'Cause we could find something else to do."

Peter shrugged his shoulders. "Well, my coat keeps me warm for the most part, but I have no such protection for my feet, and I am afraid that I am having difficulty feeling them at the moment." He chuckled and began to hop toward the shore, speaking as he went. "I...think...I...shall...leave...the...next...activity.....to you. I...still...do not...know...what...winter...games...there...are."

Thumper nodded, skating gently off the ice onto the soft snow. "Well you can play lost of games in the winter, even games you normally play all year!" He stopped and thought for a moment, "Or you can build things with the snow! Or have snowball fights! There's lots to do!"

Reaching the shore, Peter jumped into a snowbank and shook the snow off of his jacket. "I think besides hide and seek, I do not play many games." He looked down at the snow and scooped up a pawful. "Snowball fights.....you fight with snow?" He tossed the pawful in the air and watched it float gently down.

Thumper nodded, taking a handful of snow and packing it into a little ball. The snow held nicely in the slightly lumpy spherical shape. "You just make it into a neat little ball like this and," at and he tossed it lightly at Peter, "throw!"

Following the flying ball of snow, Peter didn't even think to duck his head, and the snow landed quite neatly on his nose, shattering over his face in a puff of white. Startled, he shook his head hard to get the freezing bits off of his face, and grinned at Thumper. "I think I like how that feels; soft, yet just enough to cause you to stagger." He reached down and scooped up a pawful of snow, packing it the way he had seen the other namir do it before lobbing it at Thumper. "Catch!"

Thumper was worried at first, not meaning to his his friend in the face, ut smiled when he found out Peter enjoyed it. He laughed a bit then readied himself for the snowball. Jumping he half caught it, the ball seeming to explode in his paws. "Sneak attack!" Thumper called as he landed, tossing a quick snowball back at Peter.

Peter let out a yeep, a sound he had before considered too undignified for him to make. He felt the snowball hit him in the side, and he allowed himself to fall while quickly scooping up a snowball and hurling it at Thumper before falling with a puff into the snow.

Thumper was laughing so much he didn't see the next snowball. It hit him square in the face, causing him to give a light sneeze and go cross eyed trying to look at it. After he finally realized he'd been hit he fell backwards laughing again, unable to throw another until he calmed down. Even then though, his light giggling was making it hard to aim as he threw the small ball of snow.

Catching on to Thumper's laugh, Peter lay in the snow, laughing until he actually felt a littel weak. He had never had cause to laugh so hard, and even now he wasn't entirely sure just why it was he was laughing. Maybe it was because it was the first time he could remember having such fun. Painting eggs and giving out candies was all well and good, but never as much fun as this. Sitting up with snow clinging to his coat and making it appear as though he had rolled in powdered sugar, Peter looked over at Thumper, still laughing sporadically as the snowball sailed over his head. "You.....missed me!"

Thumper continued to laugh, not caring that he had missed. He was having too much fun to care, and the fact that Peter was laughing with him and now looked like a tasty treat now only made him laugh more. "I...I couldn't....help....it," he managed to say between fits of giggles.

Trying unsteadily to stand, Peter supressed his giggles and shook himself, trying to get all of the snow off of his coat and out of his fur. He tottered over to a tree, not seeing that it was laden with snow, and tred to lean against it to steady himself. He practically fell against it, jarring the tree and causing a fresh bunch of snow to dislodge itself from the branches and bury him in snow, with nothing of his showing except a surprised pair of eyes.

Thumper laughed even more (if that was possible), but made his way over to the snow pile to try and dig out Peter. As he calmed down he addressed the situation. “Y-you okay Peter?” he snickered, actually rather concerned under his giggling.

Having trouble containing his giggles himself, Peter squirmed as Thumper's paws scooped snow off of him, trying to qiggle out of the snowpile. He emerged looking much like he was still buried in snow, only he had a discernible form, like a rough snow sculpture. "Y-es. S-snow is s-so c-cold." He shook himself off as hard as he could, sending snow flying everywhere.

Thumper regained his composure, but couldn't hide his smile. "Maybe we should find someplace warmer to go then. Just until you stop stuttering," he said, trying desperately to keep his giggling down.
