Aiday looked around at the trees and the scenary, imagining how they could be used in a battle situation. She remembered some of the spars she'd had with Sullivan recently, and continued to walk on an invisible path towards the house.

Rod found it interesting how she looked at the trees. the phrase "Can't see the forest for the trees" crossed his mind briefly. It was pretty out, with the snow lying on the branches and the icicles glittering with cold light, and she wasn't looking at that. Rod however enjoyed the view, though he would happily view it from indoors.

Aiday flicked her ears as the wind wove around the forest, creating sounds and movement in the trees. She doubted anyone would be about to attack at this moment, but if they did she was always ready. She looked ahead as a small cottage came into view, the very thing she was looking for. "We're here." She said to Rod as they neared it.

Rod licked his lips. Food. And the house looked much nicer than the various caves he had been using as home since the stupid sleigh started chasing him. "So... is there a mat to wipe my paws off or something? Or does your human not care?" Humans were funny creatures indeed, easily offended and extremely tolerant at times. this one was going to feed him, and Rod wasn't going to risk offending the human by getting the little cottage all wet and muddy, unless he was sure the human wouldn't care. That was just common sense right there.

Aiday nodded. "Yeah, there's a mat right outside the door. And my human doesn't care, but the namrah who work to keep the house clean might." She lightly laughed to herself. "And they can be more frightening than the human at times." She walked up the poarch steps and shook off her fur and wiped her paws on the mat.

Rod nodded and wiped his paws carefully on the mat, shaking them once or twice to get the droplets off his fur. He flicked his tail, too, watching whatever droplets hadn't turned to steam fly off his tail and dent the snow. "I bet I could take them" he said with a grin, sniffing the air. it smelled of warm wood, human, soap, and other 'mirs. Not a bad combo, really. Most of the humans he had dealt with had stenches that really overpowered everything, but at least this house had hygiene. "So where's the human?" His stomach grumbled a follow up question. "Or just the food?"

Aiday shrugged. "The human comes and goes as she pleases, usually she's in the clearing with the others." She opened the door and stepped inside into a small room with a couch in fron of a fire place. Near the back of the room was a half wall topped with granet by a table and some chairs. You could see the kitchen through the hole, tiled and cleaned up. There were a few kits running around, with the parents chasing them. "As for the food, it's in the kitchen."

Rod dodges out of the way of a dashing kit and its careening parent. "Clearing?" he asks as he nudges the refrigerator open and peers inside. Good stuff in here. Some cheese, some meats, some breads. He closed it again as he remembered the cleaning. Maybe he should get a plate first or something... but where were the plates? He rears up on his hind legs and searches.

Aiday nodded. "Yeah, it's the 'Treppunkt' of Namiah, as our German speaker says. It's where all the namrah tend to go if they wanna socialize." She followed him into the kitchen and opened a cabnet, pulling out a plate for him and herself. "What do you want to eat? Our human has pretty much anything you could want, 'cept fruits and vegetables out of season."

ah. Maybe since the threat of annihilation-by-sleigh was over, he'd go check out the clearing. He dragged a medium sized piece of meet out and got it on the plate, dragging a few pears out - his almost favorite fruit - and settling down to eat. "You'r human must shop alot." he said between mouthfuls.

Aiday grabbed a apple and a small fish out of the fridge. She then placed them on the plate and went over by Rod to eat as well, making sure she was a distance away from a kit that could knock over her food. "Yeah, it's the one thing she complains about, since she has to almost every day. She does have over 40 of us living in here."

Rod chuckles. Although he had been hoping for some service, it made sense. Self service was, you know, more economical in a household... he dodged a sliding kit... like this.
"Over 40, huh. Wow."
He wasn't sure if he could actually contemplate that. He'd been pretty much alone and all for as long as he could remember. 40 was alot.
"Maybe she should get delivery service or something."

Aiday nodded. "Yeah, and about 10 of them are kits at the moment." Aiday ate half of her fish before taking a bite out of her apple. The whole house seemed to have grown so fast, she could almost remember when there was only 20 of them in it. She chuckled at his comment. "There's no way she could afford that. Actually, I have no idea how she affords it now."

"Eh. goodness knows what humans do for money." he stretched a bit, feeling his muscles work. They weren't too stiff. He licked his plate clean. And thought for a moment. there was something he was supposed to remember... oh! Thats right! the checkered-tail 'mir had wanted a battle. and he felt pretty good right now. Battles helped his digestion quite nicely. "So how about that battle?" he asked, grinning.

Aiday finished off her food before cocking her head slightly at his question. "A battle? Sorry, I only spar. If you want a battle you'll have to find another pokemir that's got some of those special powers you all have. Unfortunatly, I'm just a normal 'mit so I ain't got any of those powers. And, so, I cannot 'battle' you."
