Alex saw that one coming. He knew that the Deoxys would use ice beam, and he moved out of the way just in time to dodge the attack. Smirking, he stuck his big tongue out at Soar.
"Wow Alex, that was great! Now, use flamethrower, and show them that we aren't going down as easily as they think!"
He barked and launched his final attack. His luck had limits, he knew, so that attack was bound to be his last.

"OH COME ON! AGH-" Lamen had to shut her mouth to avoid eating flame, and was rewarded with having her hair on fire. Thankfully, the wind and final blast of ice beam that came from Soaringedge was quick to put it out.
Team Kickass? Yeah right... team crispy is more like it...

Alex roared with his canine laughter while he jumped around, avoiding the ice beam. Day, meanwhile, discovered that she could no longer feel her fingers, toes, nose, ears, or anything else that protruded from her body.
"Alex, gawd! You really are a goofy genius. Use flamethrower again!" Day was more amused than disappointed about missing their last attack. It was a very interesting race, indeed.
Alex kept blasting out little embers at Soar in between little bouts of doggy-giggles. He didn't care anymore that they would lose, he just found it funny that they both kept missing.

They were too close. If the attack was released on Lamen at this distance, she would be harmed. He couldn't turn around- Jen would be hit just as badly. His eyes widening, Soar comprehended the situation- he lifted the trainers high with his arms and was blasted powerfully on the chest, where his crystal, equivalent to a Deoxys' brain, was exposed directly to the flame, causing his perceptions to suddenly go haywire. At this speed, that wasn't a good thing.
"WHOAH SOAR-?"
-HONK-
The legendary crashed dramatically into the snow, tumbling over and over until he was a big dizzy snowball (trainers included.)
"Gaack!- SOAR! NOOOOO---" Lamen yelled, being rolled up with the others. When the rolling finally stopped, she dug her way out with her gloved, watching as the other team ran off into the distance. They'd never catch up now, and the Deoxys was NOT in a running state. She shook her fist at the horizon jokingly, finding this to be the stupidest and most hilarious loss ever... "CURSE YOUU, LOVEPINKBUNNIES!" She roared, cracking up inside.
"Well um... Jen... want to help me dig this big buffoon out?" She asked, apologetic.

Day hugged Alex, who started playing in the snow as soon as Soar fell.
"Woohoo! Yeah boy!" She punched the air and jumped up and down before running over to go help Lamen and Jen with Soar.
