As Starsong lunged, the glider urked faintly. Twisting his body, he paced her, wrapping arms about midsection, and using that physical closeness to cushion her fall to the cold ground. With care, he rolled her over, to cradle her, concern written on his face. **Yes, Healer,** he replied to Dancer. The send was alive with worry barely held in check.

His body crashed into hers hard taking away her breath for a moment. Autumn lay grinning even if she was heaving at he sat on her. He was strong and good fight. Still he made a mistake and held her shoulders when he should have held her hands. They both shot up between his arms and smashed at his ears. A move like that done with to much force might well blow an eardrum. A painful thing but not unfix-able.

Her hands found force. More then she herself expected. It was enough to send him reeling in some pain and for her to throw him off. Growling with a mix of laughter she leaped on him and wrapped her arm around his throat. Trying to knock him out.

(This roughhousing is now moved to the beach. Thank you.)

Looking At Star as she moved weakly Dancer had a sad smile on her face. *She is a fighter isn't she.* Her mind was soft and gentle. Reaching out a hand Dancer touched hot flesh and gasped softly. "Oh my" Giving Savith a worried look she sat knowing if she did well this healing would take much out of her. It seemed all she did anymore was a healing and sleeping. Still if it helped others that she had quickly come to look at as family she would sleep her life away for them. Dancer moved her hands to the source of the infection. One small cut that must have gotten dirt in it or something. Taking a deep breath her eyes slipped closed and Dancer asked for the High Ones help to help her friend.

It might have seemed like forever or it might have been like seconds. No matter the time it still took its toll on the meager skilled healer. Trying hard to withdraw the illness to at least a point her body could fight it on its own. As before Dancer then dizzily fell away and sought to lean or lay so that she might recoup.

As she was turned over her breathing shallow and raspy, her head lolled to the side as she saw Dancer again. The Ravvit! She hadn't scared it away at her attempt to kill it. But as she was contemplating how to get it without her knife the ravvit's features turned evil, demonic and it was coming towards her.

**nno.. NO!** she tried to back up, scoot across the ground but Savith had her in his arms still.

Its touch felt cool, and not as furry as she thought it would. She felt the last bit of energy leave her body as it refused to move at her command. She went limp, and her head fell back as she slipped into unconsciousness.

Dewpaw had woken up just after Blaze, catching his conversation with Autumn, he decided it would be fun to follow them for the day, instead of her usual routine of bugging savith or Dancer. Besides, she wanted out of the cave, not likeing to stay put for too long. Dew crept to the cave opening and crouched comfortably until Blaze adn Autumn were in the trees. Then she took off, easily climbing down teh tree by teh entrance and entering the forest, climbing the first tree she could adn watching from there. She was about to jump at Blaze when teh two stopped, but then their sends entered her mind. She hadn't been paying much attention to them before hand. But they started to argue, again, something Dew coudln't understand. To her they seemed to act like fire and water sometimes, odd because they were both fire, to her at least.

Dew looked around for a second as Autumn left Blaze standing on the path. She shook her head, but continued to follow Blaze as he returned to teh beach. After all, Autumn would most likely catch Dew, more likely than Blaze would at least. And Dew didn't want to be caught, she was having fun. She stayed perched in a tree during Autumn and Blaze's conversation. She wondered why Autumn just didn't do what Dew ahd done with Savitha dn sent the images to show the night to Blaze. It had worked with Savith, after he had gotten past the whole seeing through someone else's eyes. So Dew sat in the tree and watched...

Savith hmm'd softly at Dancer's send, one hand pulling the dagger from Starsong's grasp then letting his mind whisk it away to the safety of his pack, to be returned later.

He had barely gotten the knife to his pack when it quivered in the air then fell to the ground with a soft clunk for his concentration on it was broken when Starsong sent and began trying to scoot back. He sneered as he worked to hold her still in his arms, mind pushing away the argument his ankle was starting to give him as her shifting forced him to cross his legs under him and put both their weights on it. He grunted faintly, finally straightening his legs somewhat and pulling her completely into his arms and lap.

From Savith's point of view, both went limp at the same time, and with mind and arms full of the wolfrider, the glider found he couldn't spare more than a concerned glance at the catelf. And so he sat, looking between the two females, one in his arms, the other dizzy and fallen over before him, with a slightly bewildered look upon his features, even as his moss-colored eyes danced with concern and worry.

Llune slept late, and was still sleeping when Savith sent that the rain had stopped. The earlier bout with morning sickness had really taken it out of her, but she awoke now with an appetite. Still weak, Llune lay on the mat near the secondary opening, listening to the sound of no-rain and contemplating this odd craving for dried salted apricots. Perhaps it was for fear of becoming ill again, or just because she was tired and cozy, but either way Llune remained snuggled up on her mat, oblivious to the goings on in the rest of the cave.

Peyote yawned hugely and rolled onto her back to stretch. She blinked a few times as she lay there, listeing to.. "Hey! The rain stopped," she piped up as she pushed herself to sitting. Her eyes fell upon Savith and Dancer and Starsong and her lips formed a little oh of surprise. "Is everyone okay?"

Dancer groaned softly and lifted her head. Oh if only Pey could hear a send this would be so much easier. "I'm weak" she said softly. "Star is sick, an infection. Help Savith." Then she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep wherever she was. Perhaps another dream of her Fishy? Who knows but she is out for the count and will be as such for an hour or two.

Creek didnt wake when Dancer left his side, although he did move, rolling over partially when the wieght left his chest. He hadn't been asleep long, having just been thinking about staying or leaving. Sometime after Dancer had fallen asleep in his lap, he drifted off too, having nothing better to do. The send about the rain never reached him, as he was lost in his dreams, something extremely important to his tribe. They believed that dreams held truths in them, things to learn from, or things to come. So he remained lsot in them throughout the commotion. His mind turning the sounds he heard from Star and Savith and Dancer into noises in his dream. He woke up not long after Pey, more worn out than when he had fallen asleep. His dream had been wild, draining him, only increasing the turmoil in his mind.

He had been searching for his tribe, tracking them. He was so close when the tracks became twisted, leading everywhere at once, impossible. Then a stripped-claw had come. The creature terrified him, and he knew alone he couldn't defeat it, so he ran, further and further from his tribe's tracks. He turned sharply when fire blocked his way, but then he was no longer in the forest, but instead a desert with birds circling above, and behind him, the forest had gone, but the striped-claw was there. He kept running until a wolf-pack now blocked his path. But oddly, he felt calmer, his fear vanishing, even as the striped-claw came up behind him, the desert sands began to shift, and the fire spread closer. He felt a kinship with all of it.

Then he woke up, stretching as much as he could, finding it wasn't enough. He stood up, wanting to feel the rain pull at him, when he realized the rain had stopped, the pull was gone. He rubbed his eyes, "hey look, the rain stopped" he mumbled, a little behind. Thats when he saw Dancer and the others, and he was instantly alert. "What happened?" he asked alloud, questioning Savith as he ran over to Dancer.

And it's unfortunate that none of this was said in send, because Llune is far enough away not to have heard Dancer's weak murmur for assistance. She continues to doze, happily oblivious to any discomfort of the others in the cave and fantasizes about salted apricots and pickles with chocolate melted on top...

Peyote scrambled up to her feet as Dancer stated she was weak, ignoring the stiff neck and achy lower back as she went. But when the healer told her to help Savith, she moved to the glider instead, and all but literally hovered over him, shifting from one side to another in an uncertain, semi-frantic attempt to figure out how to help him. "What's wrong? What happened? Did the Sun strike her? Did she eat some bad prickly pears? Maybe we can find some spikey-healing leaves. They help with sunburn and cuts and things. -gasp- Unless it was something she ate. If it was she'd need something else. Oh! I wish Toorah were here. She'd know exactly what she needs. What about some water? Yes! I'll get some water," she said, the words tumbling out of her mouth in a long worried stream of thought. Count your blessings that this one can't send. As soon as the thought of getting water streaks her brain, and consequently spills over out of her mouth, Peyote leaves the glider's side to go find a waterskin, not realizing he already has one with him.

Savith turned to look at Peyote as she neared and started to open his mouth to say something, but she just rambled on ahead of him, and ended up leaving before he could get a word in edge-wise. Well, perhaps it was for the best. It was Creek Runner's question, therefore, that received an answer. "Starsong is sick, high fever. Dancer says something is infected, but I'm not sure what. Mostly likely, it's the cut on her leg. Dancer's done what she could, and needs to rest now, as all Healers do after hard work," came Savith's reply, voice even and deadpan, masking the concern and worry that shifted the tint of his eyes from grayish green to a richer more forested hue.

Starsong lay limp in Savith's arms. The dreams plagued her no more and she slept deeply. The battle that raged inside her seemed to triumph as the infection diminished. All that was needed now was rest to be fully cleansed of the illness.

Over the next several minutes her fever, tho still present, had dissipated somewhat and her breathing became more steady. Asleep and delightfully unaware of what had just happened. To have seen so many people around her, fussing over her, would have probably sent her in a completely new state of panic.
