She chuckled. "I wouldn't be surprised if a 'curse' like that followed you even beyond." she said wryly.
Wow. a Joke. She hadn't made one of those in gods-know-how-long. And about her curse? Wow.
Either she really liked this man, or the alcohol was getting to her, despite all logic. Or both.
she drank her drink. She could've sworn she was beginning to taste it.
"So, What is it exactly that you do in those dark places? Do you walk them for the... Fun... of it?" she asked conversationally.

Triton laughed "Oh gods, dont say that! It may come true somehow!" oh what a horror that would be. He couldnt help but grin though, the woman was rather funny, rather witty too. He liked that, licking his lips as he took another long swallow from his mug, trying to pace himself at least a little no sense in becoming to drunk to walk, even if he didnt care much about that at the moment. "Mm, heh I enjoy my solitude but not that much, no..I do it for the 'pay' of it, I enjoy it of course, exploring those parts the darker lands that most people wont venture. Its how I ended up with that damned poe in the first place." he sighed shaking his head
"Most places though, I just wont head there unless someones willing to pay a high enough price" he smiled slyly, it was sad but true, a bounty, a prize, that was what he was after and unless there was a big enough pay off...ah..hed learned not to risk his life and others so foolishly for nothing anymore.
"What about you though hmm? I dont even know where your from, or..your face?" he chuckled taking another drink.

Yoske was caught off guard by the question. Quickly, she drank more, trying to think of a way to answer.
The truth was too much for her to think about just now. Disturbing. Unfortunate.

true enough. Ikana was a whole other world entirely, under the Goddesses creation but not Hyrule. And Home was still further from Ikana.
"Its not important, really. Neither is my face. " the last part had been blurted out, and she regretted it.
She never was good at this sort of thing. She had always been assigned for more watching than conversational spying. Not that she was spying now, of course... but she supposed she was too open with what she said. Or was it the alcohol?
"Whats important is where I go from here, correct?"
she said, slightly nervous.

Triton shrugged running his fingers through his hair "Thas fine, im from far away too! Heh were like birds of a feather or something" he grinned, almost giggling despite himself..mm alcohol. "Ooh, I bet you just keep it hidden so the men dont chase you down, thas fine too, I dont need to see it to know" tipping back his mug again and nodding enthusiastically.
"Exactly! Live in the moment and for the future, thats what we should all aim for" a slightly tired slurred note to his voice, it was funny he was agreeing and yet he was doing the exact opposite, working so hard to solve a mistake of the past..hah..
"Im gonna guess that means you dont have any family either huh?"

Yoske nodded and laughed. She too was feeling that they were birds of a feather. It was nice to have something in common.
Her laughter stopped. Her family, her long gone clan, the Garo unit who had been more than brothers.
"Thats right. No family. Not living."
Now why had she said that?! She had been intending.. intending to say.. what?
She was feeling hazy. Maybe too much alcohol.
She tried to drag her wits back.
"I take it..." she thought her words over as carefully as she could, trying not to slur. "I take it you're leaving Castle town tomorrow?"

"Aww, im sorry for that then, heh I dont really have any family either, mm parents died, no siblings feh just a poe and the road!" he smiled quietly, rubbing his hand across his cheek and through his bangs, the drink having a bit more of an affect then hed expected, so warm and sleepy..
"Mmm, maybe..depends on whether my heads killin' me in the morning or not!" he chuckled nodding happily "I was planning on heading out though, after grabbing some stuff..It wouldnt hurt me to stay a day over though" he shrugged, setting down his now empty glass.
"Do you have a room? If not then, ya know, I have a spare bed in mine? I mean not that I'm trying to be forward or anything, just curious" he grinned, if shed just gotten here then maybe she didnt have a place at the inn yet? It would be ungentalmenly of him to not offer her a place to stay right! Right!

Yoske looked at him, bemused. She couldn't sleep- she'd tried- so she didn't need a place to sleep... though... It would be nice to be inside out of the cold...
"Thanks, but I have to check on some things tonight..." Then again... Her head felt funny. Maybe the alcohol was really effecting her, or it was an illusory drunkeness caused by both the curse and the alcohol, but she didn't think she'd be able to jump properly from roof to roof like she had been intending to do, listening for scraps of possible employment or news.
But it seemed that she could find employment right here and now.
"Although... Is there somewhere we can meet tomorrow? I'm interested in your travels..." she caught herself slurring and continued, carefully. "And It might be interesting to travel with you."
I'll follow him later...
she thought to herself, wanting to satisfy her curiosity.

Triton pouted slightly, he would have tried sounding disappointing and begging but ah he just couldnt pull it off right now. His brain was slush and everything else slurred and a bit blurry. "Ah, thats too bad, I understand though.." his hopes jumping, grinning like an idiot as she spoke of tomorrow.
"Hah! Of course we can meet up tomorrow..ah.." where a place? A time, he was excited enough that she was even interested in what he did, hell interested in coming with him maybe! "Thats wonderful, that your interested heh and a place..a place.." they were in castle town right. "I'm staying here at the inn soo, maybe we can meet in the market place tomorrow, in front of one of the vender stalls" he couldn't even remember the names of half of them right now. "Does that sound alright?"

The giddy drunkenness was fading, oddly enough. It left unliving misery in its wake. She didn't want it to leave her, so she got up to buy another round of drinks, and downed one, slowly. And waited for his reponse.

"Uhm...need.." he had to think for a moment..need..Oh yeah duh the market! "Food! Heh..some sort of supplies..I think" he shook his head "I'll remember in the morning, or be reminded..mmm I wanted to take a bit more of a look around afore I left to, sorta see things in the daylight" he shrugged watching her call for another round of drinks, happily cradling his and sipping from it.
"Gotta say, you have an amazing tolerance for liqour, probably beat out some of the best drinkers here" he giggled with a slow smile.

"They're the lucky ones..." murmured Yoske.
She finished hers off, then checked her wallet. Enough for a drink or for a good amount of supplies, she figured. a few days trail rations.
"I don't think you have that quality though" she said bemused, "Maybe you... should stop. Unless you want to be carried out?"

Triton snickered and nodded pushing his half empty mug away "I blame you, cause you kept buying em' " he sighed resting his head against his arm, shaking it in some form of a 'no' "Uh uhn, carried out by you, thatd be a bit embarrassing huh.." he smiled softly, so maybe he had had a little much, he couldnt help it he liked the taste, and that nice feeling that came with it. Just..oh so fun...
He looked at her and then at the door, contemplating maybe sleeping right there at the table for the night. "I lack some aah...quality's like at the moment, walking straight!"

Yoske chuckled.
"I'll help you. I bet..." she saw him leaning towards the table, "I bet your bed at the inn is far more comfortable... and welcome..." she glanced at the bartender, "Then this table."
she thought for a moment. "I'm sorry, did you tell me what your name was, sir?" It had occurred to her that, since they might end up working together, it would be a good idea to introduce herself.

Triton tilted his head as she giggled at him, nodding slowly "Mmm, welcome..though anywheres comfy right now" he sighed though he agreed with her, it wasnt as if he had much choice hed probably be tossed out if he decided to stay on the table.
"Uhh..Oh gods, my name! I never mentioned it once did I?" he said his speech slightly slurred though he sounded surprised, how had he forgotten something so basic? "Triton, names triton..and..eh yours?" he wasnt sure hed remember it by morning, but hed have to, it wasnt as if he would recognize her face.
