Zak looked bemused, "well, that was interestin'," he said to the two remaining, "name's Zak, by the way," he raised his goggles, showing red rings where the eyepieces had been.

"Son of a b***h" Riley cussed silently under his breath. "I feel sorry for that child." He added as he ran a hand through his hair. "He straightend up a little. "I'm Riley." he told the other kid. "You're Zak right? The freaky smart kid that everyone talks about? Never thought I'd see you out and about, people say that you spend lots of time in your room...."

Zak looked suprised, he hadn't known that he was talked about. "uhh, yeah, my room or my hideout, and the way things are lookin' to be," he gestured absently around him, refferring to the cold, "I'm going to be spendin more time there than my room,"

Riley laughed bitterly. "Yeah....what do you do anyway, cut off from society? Hey um, Clerence was right its getting cold...I'm gunna head home, but if you want to tell me, you're welcome to come with. Miss. Emily's getting worried because I haven't brought anyone over in a while. She might make a fuss though, but shes nothing, NOTHING compared to Clerence."

((Tell me when it is morning... Tesunie can't attempt another escape attempt tonight. Clarence is probably monitoring him at this point. ninja rofl ))
((I figure we wont be in danger of anything for a few days role play time. It will probably take us some time to figure something is wrong, and it isn't just a 'imitation winter coming earlier than usual'.))

Hope rolled her eyes, and shrugged her jacket on again. "Well, if you two are going to your houses, I'll be waiting for ya in the morning." She said, going back to her tree when she stopped and turned. "I'm Hope by the way. Zac...Yeah. I remember hearing stuff about you." She said, before turning away again. She muttered darkly, "Smart guys. Tch. Yeah right." She said, climbing to the tallest branch that was still able to hold her weight. She laid there, thinking, and slowly getting tired.

It was Kev's second lap of jogging or walking around town and he was bored to death. Barely anyone was ever out at this time. He pasted Riley and the town brainiac with a slight nod. He usually didn't get along with Zak that well. As he walked into the fringe of the park he spotted a girl sleeping in a tree. 'Lets say hello, shall we.......' Kev crept up to the tree and jumped up to the branch where she lay, grabbing the last patch of open space closest to the main part. "Hey there Hopey" he said with a smirk, "you know you shouldn't be out alone so late in a rough neighborhood like this." Total lie. Nothing ever happened in the Square. Except for getting unusually cold, but whatever. Probably the Office changing the weather to mess with people.

Hope opened her eyes, a smirk danced across her lips. "I'm the one who makes it a rough neighborhood, Kevy." She said, sitting up. "Besides that point, what are you doing out so late. Don't you hate it when there's no body around or somethin?" She asked. She had known Kev for a long time, and knew how bored he got.

Kev hauled himself up so that he was sitting next to Hope's feet. "That is true, cause you the meanest little thing I ever meet! And you know nobody's home at my place," Kev said, grinning mischievously and winked, "Unless you'd like to....." Anyone who's asked about Kev's Nurse knows that one night she went out and got knocked up so now she work at the Office. She and Kev worked so that she would get in trouble for the baby and Kev wouldn't need a new Nurse.

(( ninja Wouldn't it be great if Kev was the only one to get a guy nurse because of that? mrgreen Hehehehehe. lol That would be a riot. rofl ))

((By the way, if people want to, I am going to try to draw people's characters in this role play. If you can provide as descriptive of a way to show or tell about your character's looks and personality*, it would really help me be able to visualize your characters. If we can also keep with the extremely visual postings, I might even be able to draw a comic stripe on this... if I get REALLY lucky on it though.))
(If you want a reference for my art style, I drew the picture for my character myself. I can at least try to get portraits of your characters, but I can't guarantee anything, as art can be rather finicky with me.)
(*You can PM me these descriptions or pictures and I will see what I can do. The more you can give me, the better I might be able to draw your character.)

"So," Riley said, nodding as Kev went by, "would you take other people with you, or just go by yourself? How far have ...you know, gotten with this prject?" He asked. They wandered up a few more steets and then stopped in front of Riley's house. The little plate next to the door flashed his own and Penny's name back at him, as if welcoming him. "You can come in if you want." He shrugged as he opend the door.

Hope snorted darkly, rolling her eyes. "Oh yeah. I'd so like to be at your house. Yup. Nothing more can make me more happier in the world." She said sarcasism dripping off each word. "Ha. I wouldn't be suprised if you were stocked up." She said, leaning back against the tree again. "Man. The coldness really's getting to me." She hissed, crossing her arms.

"Okay, just checking," Kev said, putting his hands up. By now just about everyone had noticed the temperature change. For some reason Kev had never minded cold and only owned one jacket that stayed hung up for most of the year. "So do you plan on staying out here all night?"

"I ain't going back to Hell yet, if that's what you're asking." She said, pulling her hat down over her eyes, grunting darkly. "If you ask me, I'll brave a hurricane then go back to that house. That nurse don't care about me; all she cares is that I check in to see if I'm alive so that she won't have to go to the office." She snorted, rolling her covered eyes.
