We can stock up on water and wool blankets, ignore what the creepy old fart said and proceed to live like as normal; we could warn every one and look like blubbering fools because we have no proof. "Perhaps if we do something that will cause the people to evacuate today or tonight without us telling them about what's going to happen, we can still make it out, while still being able to honestly say that we told no one about what's to happen." Rasava shook his finger. "We don't speak of it. Instead, I say we create a situation that will force an evacuation. He said this town would burn in three days. I say we find a way to conjure enough smoke to cover the town, as well as set our own houses on fire since we won't be returning to them once we leave. Once everyone has left, we intentionally burn the rest of the town. This way, they can't simply come back, and thus, won't be here when the attackers arrive. They'll be forced to leave and find a new place to live, or gather equipment to start the rebuilding process. I know it sounds vicious and cruel, but simply evacuating them out won't keep them out for three days. Better thier material things than thier lives. They can always rebuild later." Rasava spoke.

Rasava gave a nod and divided up his smoke sticks, giving the other two 3 each, while keeping four for himself (or two for himself and two for Za Za if his character is here and under DM's control). "We'll start a fire in each of our houses. Since our houses are on different sides of this town, it'll make the natural smoke spread further. We'll use the smokesticks along the side of town opposite of the entry/exit point so they believe that the fires are bigger than they are. With a good breeze in the right direction, people will believe more of the town is on fire that it really is and we'll go around, spreading the rumor that the entire town is on fire and evacuate the people towards the town exit. As people head out, we head towards the back agian, check the houses to make sure everyones out of them an dstart setting them ablaze from rear to front, and then we take that secret exit that we were told about." Rasava explained.

[so are the mountains still there or is it just a valley now? Can't try out the plan if my character or the others realize the residents have nowhere to run to and thus have to come up with a new plan.]

Al right heres what happens (no mountains) the first part of the plan goes off without a hitch you smoke up the joint and get the entire town evacuated however as you go back to the seceret exit you find a guard searching houses he yells "Hey you get out of here you will be killed, get to the great gate!"

"I saw someone head this way. Don't worry, we'll head to the gate once we find them." Rasava called back to the guard. Regardless of weather the guard bought the bluff or not, Rasava would make his way towards the secret exit.
