"Okay. We tie." she said, smiling at him. Though, in her mind, him suggesting a tie made her winner by default. See? She won after all. She was best!
"Yush. Share." Zemel agreed, nodding. After all, Ginger couldn't eat all the icecream! Her tummy was much too small for all that! She'd get an upset tummy, and that wouldn't be good!

Joshua liked ties, that meant they both won. He waited until Zemel and the parents caught up with them. He wasn't very patient about it. "Hurry Mommy!" He called, "Ice cream's gonna melt!"
Thali laughed at that, the ice cream wasn't likely to melt too fast with this cold.

Ginger gasped. The ice cream was going to melt? "Mommy, hurry up! Zemel!" she called. She didn't want melty ice-cream!
Zemel. as soon as his name was called, ran over to his sister. He didn't want the ice-cream to melt, either! That would be bad!
Stasia suppressed a chuckled; little kids were so adorable.

Josh smiled at his friends, but the parents didn't seem to be in a hurry. He frowned. "Hurry Mommy!" He repeated. "Melty ice cream tastes bad!" Not that he'd ever had melted ice cream.
Thali couldn't resist, she caught up to Joshua. "No, it doesn't," She agreed. "But ice cream won't melt in a giant freezer like this one!"
