Being nipped or snapped at would certainly have startled her, and maybe sent her running, at least for a few steps, since she was still wired and tense and prone to flinching at even the smallest sounds. Once she'd started focusing on Nikolas's wounds, though, she knew she was doing the right thing and she'd try not to stop unless something else happened to distract her.
She knew the wounds were healing too, slowly, and that made her relax a little. The more that stopped seeping blood, the easier she breathed, until at last she lifted her head again.
"While you might be strong enough to bear the pain, I'd never stab you, or anyone, with my horn. I think I'd feel it too, and that's not something I want to experience." She tilted her head at him but smiled again, a little wearily. She hadn't expected healing him to make her tired but it had. She stayed standing, but she'd want to sleep soon.
"Pain is only a friend if it warns you to rest and heal," she opined. As her flank did. It might not be bleeding, but it did sting and ache. "Do you think you can stand, or will you rest here?"

Nikolas could get up and he was going to move again. He wasn't liking this place, not with his blood lingering in the air. He needed a bath to free himself of the scent, knowing well that the water was going to be much like ice, but anything was better then smelling like fresh meat and it would ward off the flies during the day. Taking another glance around, he stepped closer to Yazmina as she looked just as tired as he felt.
"I can move, we best find a water source so I can free myself of this stink." He uttered as he stopped close as to be there if she needed someone to lean on to remain standing. "It is there we might find a more sheltered place to rest the day away. Well at least I will, you are free to do whatever."
His voice was somewhat rough, strained even as he fought against the urge to snack on Yazmina, he would find something later. He had sworn off snacking on others, but the offer was too tempting to say the least. Perhaps there would be some berries or something near the river to eat, that would quell his stomach and make the night, or what was left of it more livable. Standing still near Yazmina, he waited until she was ready to move on, he was ready to leave.

Water would be good. It sounded good, at least, though it'd be cold. Maybe it would keep her awake. A drink would be nice, at the very least. And he could clean the blood off his hide. No one wanted to live with that sticking in hair and tugging or pulling or itching.
She did lean, a little, though she didn't mean to. He was solid and she was tired and so she did, for a moment, before righting herself and giving him a nod. "A place with water would be a good idea. You can rest. I can rest a little too. Just a few minutes, then I ought to go home." She was liable to doze or sleep when she actually got where they were going, but she didn't intend to.
She stepped away from him enough to give herself a good shake and get her blood going again. Then she nodded yet again and offered a little smile. "Let's find the water."
She followed after him.
