On and off because he did a couple of wrong things like turning Lelouch in, having a death wish, almost gave Karen refrain, killed a lot of people (black knights, britanians, japanesse, chinesse, etc), killed or seemed to kill Lelouch (still nor sure if Lelouch is dead or alive), barely helped Lelouch kill the emperor, and using geass to aide him on knightmare battles (he could of asked Jeramiah to use the geass canceler on him with the deal of him killing Lelouch).
Although he did make up for his mistakes by helping Lelouch takeover the world.

I think Suzaku is just doing what his heart tells him. He's misguided a little bit, but he's still pretty cool.

I think it's more that he thinks he knows what he's doing at that moment, but after that he doubts himself. Not sure how he's "misguided" though... User Image

Suzaku has a lot on his plate, and handles it well.
Most of the time.
He is also is self righteous, but thats what you get.

suzaku is cool except when he turned his back on his and lelouch's friendship...>< that made me mad and then to become friends again in the end- i can't believe lelouch even wanted to see him after everything that happened between the too...>< Suzaku makes me mad but when they are being friends to one another i think its sweet.

The anime itself reveals that Suzaku was misguided, but I can't remember the episode. Think it was like 16 or so...

I don't think Suzaku's misguided, as I can see some justification with pretty much everything he does, he just irritates me at times.

I was totally miffed at Suzaku dragging Lulu off to Charles though. Lelouch always considered him and tried to get him on his side willingly...and tried to never compromise his safety when he found out he piloted the Lancelot.

Lelouch never betrayed him, and would have never even thought of doing it willingly.

Suzaku knowingly took his family away from him, took him away from Nunnally--something I can never forgive, no matter what he sacrificed in order to take over as Zero.

And I see the SuzaEuphy pairing as an analogy to the BellaEdward pairing, only less extreme. So his absolute obsession with Euphy irritates the hell out of me. Seriously, everyone Euphy does something good for ends up trying to avenge her in very extreme ways (Suzaku, Cornelia, Nina)

Sorry for the random Euphy rant sweatdrop I just find his obsession with Euphy in R2 irrational.

Those of you saying rude things about Suzaku are way misunderstood! He's only doing what he thinks is right. And let's not forget he killed some people because of Lelouch's geass. There are so many things that people misunderstand, but that can't change, so I'll just finish this message by saying this: I heart Suzaku!!!!!!

That's kinda rude. I mean he is just a charactar, so you can do that, but still...Code Geass is the kinda show that has reasons behind all the characters, even the maniacs. Saying it like you did is kinda shoving off what Suzaku did, when he is probrably one of the deeper characters in Code Geass.

I said it once, I'll say it again. In a series that cares about laws and science and making things as realistic as possible in their current setting, Suzaku defies gravity.

Explain that for me please.

He betrays his own country after they get attacked after not doing anything, sells out his best friend, and says he fights for justice, now tell me where the justice of selling out a whole country is.
