Renae had been unable to stop herself from laughing when he grinned with food in his mouth, saying that he was a growing guy... Excuses excuses. Once he had polished off his plate, and the dishes were done, she shook her head. "I don't mind doing the dishes. I do them a lot at work, anyway." She insisted. "Besides, after such a wonderful meal, I need to repay you somehow.. I don't want to be a burden.." Although she still wasn't sure why she was still here. There was something about this place that drew her to it, something that drew her to Jacob and to Edward. "I feel like I've been here before.."
She spoke again once he had placed her in front of the horses. Each one was beautiful, and she reached a hand out to pet the snout of a particularly beautiful stallion, who sparkled with a brilliant black coat. "Oh he's gorgeous..." She whispered, almost breathless. Though she had never really been around them that much, horses had always interested Renae. They were loyal in their own way, strong and powerful, and yet gentle, beautiful, and seemingly human. "Is it okay if I ride this one?" She asked, her beautiful eyes looking intently into Jacobs, hoping. She wouldn't if he said no, but if he said yes, most likely she would hug him. She had a horse when she was little, before her mother had left, but it had died at the hand of wild animals.

Jacob laughed a little, a strong laugh, rough along the edges in its own way. He walked up to Renae and stood beside her, looking up at the black one she held in gaze. "She is beautiful... Her name is Delilah... And yeah, you can ride her. She's my main horse, the most tame out of them all, I believe, and yet she has a rather wild spirit," he said with a grin and patted the horse before motioning to the supplies. "You know how to do everything, right? Brush her, clean her, saddle her up... Right?" he asked before walking over to the stock room to grab things for Renae and him. "I guess I'll ride... Merlin, then," he said, walking over to a chocolate colored horse that stood in the stall across the way from Delilah. "Crazy b*****d... Haven't been able to train him yet..." he said with a look over at the horse.

His laughter made her smile. He really was a handsome man, with a strong physique and a smile that made her weak at the knees. The fact that he wasn't perfect only made it more thrilling. "I know how to do it." She said with a nod as she began to groom the horse, talking to her as she worked. When he spoke of the horse he would be riding, and how he had yet to tame the animal, her features lit up with a smile. "Perhaps he wasn't meant to be tamed." She said with a curious tone, speaking more of himself than of the animal. "Perhaps he is meant to be wild, and be loved for that very reason." She said as she saddled Delilah, carefully placing the bridle over her head.

Belle folded the jacket over her arm and clenched her left fist as it was hidden in the cloth of the jacket. This was it, this was the moment she had been waiting for. It had taken her several months to track Renae down to the small town restaurant of Elaina’s where she would face her half sister for the first time. When she had gotten there the owner had told her that Renae had not shown up for work since she had disappeared during the middle of her shift.
It had taken a little bribery and threatening to get out the fact that two regulars from lunch that day had gone missing about the same time and one had left his coat. She paid the owner off for the coat, probably more than it was worth and searched the pocket for a wallet and found a driver’s license and that is how she ended up at this particular out of the way Victorian gem of a house. She unclenched her hand and took a deep breath shifting a piece of hair out of her face she closed her eyes. “Please don’t let this be a dead end.” She prayed allowed before knocking on the door. Belle was tired, but she couldn’t rest, not until she put some sort of closure to the secret that had killed her father.

[[ 'ooc Hey, sorry it's taken so long. I just got finished making a new role play in a different guild, and got it all up and running, so yeah ^___^ All smooth sailing! ]]
He nodded in affirmation before turning to groom his own horse before saddling him up. "All things need to be tamed at one point... Wildness is dangerous..." he said, his voice gruff and tense as he saddled the horse and climbed on, awaiting Renae to do the same. He didn't catch on that Renae was speaking, exactly, of him, but he knew he was. He was a wild beast who had killed someone once... And if he got too close to someone, it might happen again. And he wouldn't be able to forgive himself for that. His dark red eyes flickered to Renae. "Well, shall we be off then?" he asked her with a weak smile on his face.
Edward hear the knocking on the door and his eyes turned up form the sink where he had just finished doign the dishes. He was worried, a little, for Renae's safety... What would happen if Jacob... Well... Such grave thoughts...
"Hm, who could that be?" he wondered. Not many people could find this place easily, so whoever it was, they were terribly lost. Opening the door, he came face to face with a lovely looking young woman. "Yes ma'am, are you lost?" he asked her, a dish rag rubbing between his hands to get them dry.

[[No worries Chloe. We just missed you ^^]]
"It's only dangerous in large quantities." She disagreed, climbing into the stirrups of her horse and swinging her leg over, mounting the beautiful mare. "If you have just the right amount, it's kind of sexy..." She said as she blushed, chuckling. She could see something in his eyes. Something he was trying to hide, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Deciding to leave it alone, she gave the mare a little nudge, sending her forward in a slow trot, the breeze blowing through Renae's soft brown hair. It felt good... She hadn't written in quite some time, and to be able to do so was really a treat, all thanks to Jacob.
The more she thought about it, the more she began to wonder about her would be kidnapper, and as they rode her eyes would occasionally drift to study him. Broad shoulders, strong jaw, touseled hair, gorgeous eyes. They man could pass for a God if he really wanted to. She could sense something dark, and she knew it was coming from him. Renae was quickly reminded of the death of her mother, and she bit her bottom lip. No... Jacob wasn't a vampire. He showed no symptoms, and so she relaxed in his presence once more. Though he had a little darkness that lay dormant inside of her, something told her that she could trust him. Something told her, he would never hurt her... Even if he lost control.

[[ 'ooc Awww, teehee... Missed y'all too!!! ]]
Dangerous in large quantities. Jacob did have a large quantity of danger in him, and he knew that. When he thought about how he had killed both his brother and Elizabeth, it teared him apart inside... It only brought to life what a monster he was deep down... And Renae would never understand. No. Now that he realized it, he could not let himself get close enough to her to let her ever understand what he truly was... A man who had sold his soul... Once a man, now a demon... A murderer... Someone who had killed his own brother... A "Cain", so to say... And he would never forgive himself... Would never forget it. "Sexy, you say?" he said, his dark red eyes peering into hers, a smirk on his face before he turned to look ahead, pushing the horse to go faster, feeling it wanted to let loose beneath him as they journeyed further away from the house... "You are but a child... And you have so much more to learn about the world that surrounds you..." he said, a bit too harshly as his eyes flickered to her, glowing a little, revealing more obviously, the dark red color...
And there was that hunger again... The pull towards Renae that might have been her undoing... Even the horse beneath him sensed it as it began to fight against Jacob as they rode on. The further they got from the house, the more dangerous it would be for Renae. Out of the corner of his eyes he could see her surveying him, could tell that her mind was running on, trying to figure out who, or rather, what he was. But the hunger, the thirst, though he was not a vampire, was beginning to get stronger, and he had to urge the horse faster to continue on the course without straying...

((I've decided to NPC a character if it's alright. XD I thought adding someone that wants Renae just as much as Jacob into the mix would be interesting.))
The harshness in his tone caused her horse to hault in its tracks, sensing her discomfort. Why was he suddenly being so rude? Her heart quickened its pace when she saw the hunger that lay dormant underneath. What did it mean? She nudged her horse, sending it into full gallop to catch up with him. "What are you?" She asked him suddenly, her eyes burning into his. "Something dark lies within you... I can sense it...." Swallowing, she decided to get everything out in the open. "...I don't want to get hurt again..." The moment was cut short when her horse stopped too fast this time, rearing on her hind legs and sending Renae sprawling several feet to the ground.
"Oh!" She shouted in surprise, screaming when she realized what had happened. What had spooked the horse, she had no idea... At least not until she spotted him. The horse took off to follow Jacob, leaving Renae in the clearing they had reached. How had he found her?! She had tried so hard to get away... He had already turned her mother, and yet he longed to have the beautiful woman on the ground before him. "Get away from me.." The tone of her voice was far beyond sweet. It was full of hate and disgust, and she hurried to her feet, running back toward the mansion... Back to Edward.
Jeremy had always wanted her. He had only turned her mother in order to get to her, and here she was, beautiful as ever. Her brown hair was mussed from the wind, cheeks flushed from the conversation she had been having with that man... No, that demon. "I told you I don't like it when you elope with other men..." His voice was deep, seductive, but scary. The gorgeous woman had always seen through his facade. She was smart, and when she took off running away from him, he laughed, deep and heartily. He always did enjoy the chase. "...Run run run..." He murmered under his breath, grinning and flashing a pair of razor sharp fangs, his eyes a frightening silver color.

[[ 'ooc Cool beans. Sounds like fun. Now we get to play with Jacob's full powers, hm? ]]
Jacob had sensed the man before, but had not realized there was much danger until he saw the way he looked at Renae. This made him abandon the horse, nudging it back toward the house. he knew Midnight would lead Merlin back... Midnight was a smart horse, and he momentarily watched the two disappear before turning now to Renae, who was running toward him, and the man, who smelled of cold and death... A vampire, as Jacob recognized. In a sick way, he was glad the man had suddenly appeared, as it had disconnected Renae's line of thought and questioning. But soon, too soon, she would see his true side, right? Even though he would have liked that she stayed away from him... Was taken from him before he could cause her harm... He knew this man that appeared... This man could cause Renae true harm...
"Who are you and what are you doing on my land? You have no right to be here," Jacob said, his voice strong and forceful, seeming to echo through the trees that surrounded them. His pace was quick, his strides long, and he reached Renae's side within mere moments, now standing between her and the man.

[[Yup ^^]]
"Don't!" Renae shouted to him, having stumbled and been forced to turn around when she saw Jacob coming. "He'll kill you..." But she saw it again, the darkness within. There was just something about him that told her he could handle Jeremy. In a way, it scared her... But at the same time, she was thankful.
Jeremy knew the man would separate him from Renae, and he wrinkled his nose in distaste. He would much rather be gazing at the beautiful human girl he had been hunting since childhood than this pathetic excuse for a man. "Why do you stand in my way, demon?" He remarked, grinning when he saw realization dawning in Renae's beautiful face. "Do you not lust for that wretched woman as well? I can share, by all means." Of course he was lying. If he ever got his hands on Renae, she would be his forever, just as her mother was, and he would never share her. She would forever be a slave for him to do with as he pleased, and so far she had managed to escape that fate.
"I can see it in your eyes.... You hunger for her blood as I do. Go on... She's right there, so vulnerable. She trusts you. Let's see if you can really step up and take what you want." The vampire cracked his knuckles, flexing his fingers, his fangs sparkling. "A pity... To waste such power on the likes of you."
Renae was horrified. A demon?! She had been right to assume he wasn't a vampire, but was this really any better? When Jeremy began to speak, she glared. He was tempting the demon that lay dormant inside of Jacob, teasing it to come out and play with her. Afraid of what might happen if that temptation became to strong, Renae took off running for the mansion. She would be safe there... She hoped.

Jacob's neck tilted to the side momentarily. He had done it, hadn't he, that wretched vampire had dared to speak what he was, and though it hurt Jacob to know that Renae had turned and run, he was also glad for it. No, he did not lust for Renae's blood as this vampire did... No, it was something completely different. No... He lusted for her soul...
The dark red eyes watched Renae as she ran toward the mansion. He knew she understood it was safe there... Edward would be able to care for her better than he ever could, for he would never be able to get close enough to, dare he think it, love her. Knowing she was at a good distance, he turned his head back toward the vampire, a low and menacing snarl emerging from his mouth, having begun in his gut, rising to the throat, and finally issuing forth. His dark red eyes turned on the man, and before anything could have possibly happened, he hunched over, dark black wings emerging from his back, a ripping noise of skin echoing through the trees now. "You," he said loudly, angrily, looking at the vampire, a bloody finger pointed at it. "What is your name, sir, so that I may know who my victim is..." he said. His voice was different, a demonic sort of air to it, and it reverberated... The vampire had chosen the wrong man to mess with, for though he was a vampire, Jacob was a demon... A full-fledged demon, and one of the most powerful ones alive.
And in an instant he was standing in front of Jeremy, his nails extended to form claws that wrapped around the vampire's face, gripping tightly, digging into the granite-like skin with ease. "You will lose," said Jacob menacingly. He could not die... It wasn't possible. He had, after all, sold his soul... And for that, he was immortal as his brother, only, he was the evil counterpart... The one that committed murder... The one that could still lust for it too... He threw his head back, laughing darkly, his glowing red eyes now focusing on the vampire in his view... The vampire, whose face he held tightly in his grip.

"You reek of death." The vampire murmered, smiling even as the claws dug into his beautiful face. There was no fear in his eyes, only amusement. "I have no soul for you to take, I cannot die... I'm not like the others." Which was one of the reasons why Renae had been unable to get rid of him. The old stab a stake into his heart thing didn't work. Sunlight didn't repel him... Garlic didn't either. Her story books and beautiful music had fed her lies. So far, she hadn't been able to kill him. "A pity... Such a beautiful creature could never love a beast such as you..." He didn't even flinch, knowing that Jacob could easily snap his neck or crush his face. It was all just a game to Jeremy.
Something made her stop... Something caused her footfalls to slow, and her heart to clench. "Ah!" The pain was excruciating, and Renae felt herself fall to her knees. What was this feeling? It got stronger as she left Jacob further behind. For some reason, her heart was telling her to go back, to look past the darkness and see the man that had taken her to the mansion. When she had woken up, he had blushed, and given her a smile that had warmed her heart. His eyes had been so kind, his companionship enjoyable. She couldn't leave... It was painful, and frightening, but somehow she made her way back to the clearing. "Put him down!" She shouted at Jacob. She wanted to speak to this vampire.. The man that had taken everything from her, and she wanted to get things straight. Now!

Belle paused for a second her body frozen. The blonde in front of her was dazzling, the picture on his i.d. had been of an attractive man but it didn’t do him justice. She took a deep breath and shook her head to clear it. “You are Edward Cullen correct?” she asked barely pausing, she had his i.d. she knew he was so there was no point in letting him reply. “You were at Elaina’s a couple nights back do you remember? I am sure you do. A young woman about eighteen or so, waitress. She disappeared, and then you left in a hurry from how I hear things. Now before you begin, I shall tell you that I know that people tend to over dramatize what happens so I am gonna give you the benefit of doubt. But you should also know that the girl Renae, is very dear to me and you should watch your steps here carefully Mister Cullen. Because I know you were there.” She lifted his jacket but didn’t offer it.
She didn’t care how dazzling the man before her was, how long she had really seen a man much less a man like him. Renae, she was what mattered. She had to find her, had to make things right. No matter how pretty the face she still had to be all business. All business all the time, that was all Belle had now.

Jacob grinned evilly, something that looked natural to his darkened face. "Steal your soul? I do not intend to do that, sir, but rather, to tear you limb from limb and send you back from whence you came... And you know well that I can..." he said before he heard Renae's voice once more beside them. No... Why had she come back? He did not want her getting injured by this vampire, and so, although he lowered the man so that he may be able to graze the grass on his tip toes, he tightened the grip he had around his face and swiftly grabbed hold of both the man's arms so that he could do nothing but hang there. Jacob would be forever damned if he let anything happen to Renae while he was around, especially if it included this wretched vampire.
When it seemed she got closer, he instinctively opened one of his large black wings and made a sort of barrier. "I do not want you getting any closer..." he said in a strong voice, watching both her movements and the movements of the vampire, Jeremy.
Edward paused a moment, still looking at the girl, allowing a certain silence to befall as he brushed his hands dry. "You know my name. It is rather rude not to introduce yourself too," he said playfully, not looking at the girl, but rather, past her, as if watching some scene unfold. "And so, why don't you tell me your name and we can continue this conversation inside," he asked her after a few moments of silence. As he peered over the girl, there was an air of seeming coldness about her heart... Something that Edward, instinctually, wanted to warm and help, nurture and love, but he stayed his distance. The look in the girl's eyes was uncertain, something that tore her, seemingly, toward her womanly instincts and a man, and then on the other end of the spectrum, Renae, as Edward knew from the description.

“Isabelle Elizabeth Rawling. Belle.” She said looking at him then peering over her shoulder. There was nothing there. She bit her lip, well he might be dazzling but he was also…strange. “Look, I can’t come inside and continue any conversation unless it is a means to my end. That is all I am here for, if you have seen her or know where she is then by all means but I don’t have time for…” she paused. Since they day her father died she hadn’t had time to live. She couldn’t but help and wonder what life her little half sister had lived. Had Belle’s own happiness come at the price of Renae’s? “Games, if you don’t know.” She said finally planting her feet firmly squaring her shoulders.
