Okay, I see... this was one of the many things I responded to on Gaia that our crappy 'net connection fragged out and said the page could not be displayed....
AARRRGGHHHH!!!! I'm coming back next week after we make an uber long Ethernet cord. We get our connection back!!! We get our connection back! YAY!

Wireless connection that acts like dial-up.... It runs slightly below a 56k connection.

Yeah, and the sad thing is I want to do some more guild banners. Some different things... Not sure what yet....
Actually, ironically enough, we'd gotten our cable back, but because of financial problems, it got disconnected before a week was up. So now we're even more limited-- to the wireless connection when we can borrow it.

finances suck! I'm barely scraping by this week.. I get paid tonight and I have some bills to pay tomorrow.. ugh.. freakin insurance, credit card..blah. The good news is I finally paid off this damn medical bill that got sent to collections. That's a big weight off my back. Medical is freaking ridiculous.

Tell me about it. Trying to balance bills, I didn't pay Comcast completely, but did pay what I could. So they told us now they want us to pay for the balance, plus a month ahead, plus the equipment. They're charging more for the equipment than the service!
...Naturally, this was after discussing it with their "supervisors" and them agreeing not to totally disconnect the service since I was paying it to a current balance.
So I'm taking it downtown this week and throwing it at them.... Flippin' bastards!

Aye, that blows. hell one of my credit cards, which I haven't used in ages cause I've been trying to pay down.. suddenly got charged two 40 dollar fees... I was a week late on payments and they charged me flippin 80 bucks.. ugh I'm broke as hell until next week.

WOW! That's why I don't do credit cards. I have a prepaid credit card with direct deposit, which actually helps since I won't have to change companies when we move.
I pay ten dollars a month, unlimited use except ATM fees... Plus it won't matter if the company goes out of business, my money is guaranteed (and never that much anyway...)

Yeah I know all about credit card problems lol. Believe me... I've got one that I'm starting to chisel down from a lovely 7k. Yikes. Now that my minimum payments aren't 550 a month it's been much easier.
Hey Lyssa.. speaking of siggy's.. I'd like a little gaiasized avatar of the little guy in The Scream. Would it be easier if I just ran a pic of the screen through photoshop, cut him out or copy him out, and mess with some effects from there? That's one of my favorite paintings (thanks to the volcanic eruption that inspired it..) and I'd love to have that little guy on my signature instead of my Naga. I may change my plain red background on the sig to the red sky in the painting as well.. I'm going to have to toy with this a bit I think.

If that makes ANY sense. I love making fun of Star Trek (on the whole) too, but that doesn't mean I don't love it. One more thought on Shatner... Now that he's "grown up" and actually has a bit of a sense of humor about himself, I like him. But you can just TELL that he was a COMPLETE a** back in the day...
