I just stop caring I get enough flack for being black and listening to Metal...I take Mega's approach and just say screw em. that's just ******** stupid. my friend clive says he's gotten it too, and i'm just like... what the ********?! it's music, anyone can listen to it. maybe if a black guy was listening to some bonehead hatecore i'd give him a funny look, but other than that, why shouldnt he listen to metal or punk or anything he damned well pleases? i mean ********, im a middle class white kid who listens to hardcore rap, blues, and jazz, and that doesnt get funny looks, but throw a black dude into a moshpit and all of a sudden it's the strangest thing in the world? what the hell! Mnyeh. I have a Pakistani friend named Akhtar who listens to metal, and nobody really questions it. I guess it just differs from situation to situation. Some people are just like that, others don't think quite as much in terms of stereotypes. yeah. it's like, i didnt see why race was such a big deal to the media in this election. my friend clive told me it was because "it takes a special type of person to see people as human beings and not stereotypes." ******** stupid, man.

MegaTherion777 yeah. it's like, i didnt see why race was such a big deal to the media in this election. my friend clive told me it was because "it takes a special type of person to see people as human beings and not stereotypes." ******** stupid, man. There is only one situation I can think of in which I refer to someone's race, and that's in pointing someone out. If I'm trying to direct my friend's attention to a black person in a crowd of white people, I'm not going to spend some long amount of time describing the person's clothing or demeanor until my friend sees who I'm talking about. I'll just say, "The black guy." I don't know if this makes me "racist", but it in no way means I'm discriminating against another race. You can't just deny the fact that people from the same place look at least somewhat similar for the most part, as that is merely a different type of ignorance.

Therefore I was imply that Folk/Viking are only the REAL types of metal. I assume you will get it now.

I assume you will get it now. perhaps he was implying that you are wrong, and folk/viking are NOT the only real types of metal.
