hmm... I think i must check out most of these ^.^

BTW - how do most of you people feel about Tanya Huff? (randomly re-reading some of her Blood books, since i never got past book 3 and since i skipped the 2nd one accidentaly i only just read it ^.^;

She takes an... interesting aproach to Werewolves. A fairly soft one - She in my opinion is like the Angel Sanctuary (anime OVA/manga) of the book realm >.> She seems to love pushing the boundaries, without seeming to.

She takes talking cats, (a different series i'm mixing with these examples - that's from her Keeper Chronicles) Hounds that actualy are from hell, Vampires who not only suffer from claustrophobia, but happen to be writers of Romance novels, a half blind at night lead charecter (female btw), mummies, werewolves, demon summoning, everything up to and including hinted twincest, and where heterosexual pairings are a minority (at least it's starting to seem that way to me even though both her lead female charecters are VERY straight....... well except the 3 Keeper book, where Diana is narating it and is quite the oposite lol), Angels who end up turning into cats, Demons who become girls, Hell who talks to itself >.> Where nothing is sacred, even that which in the books is sacred... (ex. certain egiption Gods...)

ninja NOT for the easily offended.

And all of this done with a significantly sarcastic twist, in a way that it doesn't seem in the least bit strange by the time your done with it. ninja

She's an interesting writer *shrugs* I'm an ecclectic reader - Anything from Anne Mcaffrey to Terry Goodkind, and Anne Rice so...

(don't mind me i'm rambling sweatdrop ) ... i wonder if any of that actualy made any sense?

you_die!!!
If anyone's interested, I am writing my own book about a were-wolf who is searching the globe for paradice. I got the idea of paradice from WOLFS RAIN, a good anime series that I have not seen in a while. I am hoping that I am able to strech it into three different novels. The first book is going to be called Imortal moonlight. I am really hoping that it turns out good. You may not see it on the shelves till about 2006 or 2007 because it is going kind of slow.

Well, the wolves in "Wolf's Rain" weren't actually weres, but it was still a good manga/anime. 3nodding

Also, and I'm surprised no one's mentioned this so far, there's a very great werewolf character in the "Harry Potter" series. I speak of course of the one, the only, the incomparable Remus Lupin.
