Artemis stood in a rather sudden movement, shaking her coat off with the light jungle of her tail ring and the movement of her guards. She wasn't quite sure why she had done it - she had no place to be, and no reason to get to and leave, yet she stood and looked down at Tic Tac a moment. It seemed like something not under her control was trying to make her leave, though she had no idea what that could be. With an inward, and quite frustrated sigh, she sat back down. Why would she leave? It would seem quite rude, and a bit cold. "Sorry," she said aloud, stumbling over the word a bit.

Tic Tac snapped out of his thinking state as he heard her getting up. He arched a small brow, confused at what she was doing. He watched her curiously, lifting his head off of his paws then shaking his head at the fact of her saying sorry. "Its okay." He looked around then sighed shifting so he was sitting uo. "If you have to go... All you have to do it say something..." He looked up as the sky. He was enjoying her company but he knew he couldn't keep her there.

"Er, no, I don't have to go." She furrowed her brow in slight confusion. "Like I said, I was just getting away from the pride for awhile. No real purpose... There's no need for me to leave." There. Now that she had said it, should couldn't leave just yet, even if some odd force compelled her. She could only leave when actually did have to.

Tic Tac looked over at her with a arched brow. He ruffled his wings behind him again but then shrugged slightly, but gave her a small smile. "Alright. I just don't want to keep you from anything important that you have to be doing but spending time with me instead." He flicked his tail behind him. He wasn't going to say something more to keep her here if he had to go,. He looked at her once more, waiting for a awnser.

"No," she replied, "I don't have anywhere to be..." Her voice was gentle, but her words persistent. "Don't worry about it." She offered a gentle smile, just to make sure her words had no bite behind them. She just wanted him to know - for sure - that she was being honest.

Tic Tac sighed then nodded to her. "If you say so. I just wanted to make sure, it just seemed like you had some where to go. I hope I'm not making you uncomfurtable." He laughed a bit mainly at himself. "Maybe I'm just paranoid." He flicked his hair out of his eyes then looked down at her. He looked out at the sky again. He always had a urge to take off and try to touch one of the stars even though it was impossible.

She laughed as well, in a quiet manner. "No, no, not at all. This is probably the most comfortable I've been in awhile... I'm normally around abnormally stressed lions. Which is fine, but... I always support change."

Tic Tac couldn't help but to chuckle and shake his head a bit. "Well I know I'm kinda stressed but its good to know I'm not Abnormally stressed." He gave her a playfull smile then softened his face. "So your pretty much here to help anyone who is in need?" He questioned, he couldn't help it, he didn't know how she could do it. He didn't know how anyone could do it.

"Yes. It's what I've come here to do as long as I choose to stay among the lions. any lion who needs help can seek my brother or me, and we are more than willing to help, no matter the situation." She said her words with pride, but it seemed there was an undertone that even she was not aware of. But it was so subtle that the words did, indeed, project the pride she took in her work.

Tic Tac nodded then looked over at her, he looked her over, like he was before, as if there was a hiden awnser that he had to watch her to find. "Ah. I understand. But... Does it truely make you happy? Or just the others?" His tone was a little questioning but his words were meant to be good.

She smiled at him, "It's what I've wanted to do since I was young, so it makes both parties happy." This she was sure of. Even if there was something missing, the gratification she felt when she saw other lions recover never changed, and it made all of her work seem worthwhile.

Tic Tac nodded once more with a small smile. "Well as long as your happy." He flashed her a smile then sat back on his haunches. He spread out his wings not enjoying the stiffness he felt in his wings. That always bothed him. He flapped them very gently so he didn't cause a big gust of wind.

Artemis smiled and nodded in reply, then watched him stretch his wings. She had always wondered what they would feel like, and how it would feel to fly in such a fashion... In this sense, she envied him slightly, though flying was nothing new... Just as a lion, it was unusual.

Tic Tac caught her watching him streching his wings. He grinned slightly then chuckled. "You like my wings?" He grinned slightly at her then tucked them against him. "You ever wandered what its like to fly?" He asked with a soft smile on his maw.

Artemis scoffed lightly, "I've wondered what it's like to fly with wings, sure. But you must remember where I'm from... Flying is nothing new." She gave a wink and a chuckle at that, her tail moving lightly through the air, leaving a trail of moonlight behind.
