Bakamattsu Exactly, nobody deserves that kind of treatment from their parent. Especially after doing all that stuff for them. Gendo still didn't respect even though Shinji put his life on the line for him. I know. And nothing can sway my opinion on him. Hell, even REI has a good chance of winning my respect compared to him.

WELL THEN, my least favourite character is Ritsuko. Why? You don't need a reason to hate a 2D character.

Heh heh, I also don't like Gendo. First off, he really rubbed me the wrong way the entire series. At no point was I like 'Man, that Gendo, he sure is awesome.' He willfully avoids talking to Shinji or dealing with the issues they have as if he were the child. He manipulates both Naoko and Ritsuko and basically tosses them aside when he's done (and although I'm no big Naoko fan, she couldn't have had a relationship with Gendo if he stopped it). He creates Rei, but he still has no ability to raise a child, so she ends up becoming as disfunctional as he is much of the time. He makes Shinji watch his best friend either get maimed or killed by his Evangelion. I mean, there's more, but do I really need to go on? He's not a good person. His goal is to get with his wife and as far as I can tell the rest of humanity is expendable as long as he gets to her. That's not nobility, that's selfishness.

Hmm....maybe its a male thing....i bet if he was bishounen most of you wouldnt have problems sweatdrop or would you......Just the idea of a guy who can singlehandly look like hes saving the world seems awsome to me.

no one! i think every one had a logical explaination. there was really no person i could say i hate.

My girlfriend.....ahem..lfriend thats a girl...(im gunna have to get used to that....) hates him too.....for no apparent reason....just because....She doesnt like eva....i strapped her down and did that thing like in clockwork orange to make her watch it, but she wasnt paying attention to most of it...so its not like she has any commentary to back it up either......

Ah, Brows, Mother of Brows, and Gendo. They served purposes in the anime, but they weren't characters I cared for.
