Are you sure using "online" is a good idea?
It might be worth using something a bit different to what Gaia uses, otherwise you'll just encounter users signing up, and saying "omg this is an empty version of Gaia i'm leaving already." which, needless to say, is a bad thing xD
Oh, and I'll have a think about names :]

I plan on it looking very different from Gaia, we'll even put in a notice stating that this isn't gaia online on every page. If that's needed.
The online was a stipulation, but Yu has said we can have an alternative if we wish. He has the ultimate say, it's his website.

Chiakumu Hyana You try telling that to the person who's donated the server space blaugh Most of the online.com names are taken, or would require a $16 payment. Well, how often would the payment have to be made? I am quite against the idea of ###online.com, simply because I've seen websites with similar names to another similar website be looked down upon by potential users, simply because they assume they've seen it all before.

yeah, that's another good idea. maybe the idea could even be incorporated into the website name?? as in, the ??? escape.

The payment would be made, either a one off or yearly (domain name registration) .
However, if we can think up a decent alternative to online, Yu says he'll accept it. So, it's not so much of a stipulation so much now.
ps, doesn't matter whether you third it or not, Yu doesn't take much note. (Usually)
