"You're different than Cale's other parent... Its nice." Fate spoke directly to Braewyn for the first time that day without any push to do so; he hadn't expected someone sweet to be able to put up with Tsuji.
Demi looked back over to his mother and squeaked happily; his mother had spoke to someone!

Braewyn put her face in her hand when she heard the dreaded word 'grandma', then looked to Fate when he spoke. A light smile crossed her face. "Well... Having a lot to deal with back home takes a lot, so... people change."
"WHOA!" Brae turned to see her son slam into a tree, not being able to stop in time to keep from doing so as the squirrel took to shelter.
She sweatdropped and shook her head. "He... Well, He has his moments."

"Oh my gosh! Is he ok?!" Fale stood up.
Cale laughed lightly. He started unpacking the sandwhiches.

The tall male flopped back on his butt, holding his head where it had taken the brunt of the blow. "Owow!!!!" He seemed to howl slightly, rubbing the spot gingerly.

Demi had asked the same thing at the time Fale had asked; the two were eerily alike sometimes. Fate however had fallen quiet again.

Cale walked over to Artemis and put a ice pack on his head. He didn't know if he needed it or not but he put it there anyways. He silently went back to the basket and finished unloading everything.

Fate yawned quietly before leaning his head on Cale's shoulder a bit; the small trip had make him a little weary.

"I'm sure your Uncle is gonna be fine." Braewyn said as she helped to unpack, setting out the drinks she had brought. Juice and pop.
"COLD!" It took him about five seconds to realize an ice pack had been put on his head and he flailed, getting up and running around, resulting in the ice pack falling off, but he seemed unaware.

Cale put an arm around Fate and smiled inwardly.
Fale watched his uncle run around and chuckled,"This is better than tv."
