Some other good ones that will be good to watched is Full Metal Alchemist, its really random but it has a good plot to it. If your one for romance Fruits Basket and DNAngel are good ones to watch. If you want anything with ninja's your best bet its to watch Naruto.

Here is the one thing that I have not seen suggested yet that is really awesome. Katekyo Hitman Reborn!. Any other suggestions of mine will pretty much incorporate all earlier posts.

Fruits basket, Gurren Lagann, Tsubasa, Gunslinger Girl, Negima!, Ranma 1/2 (first three seasons), Hajime no Ippo (aka Fighting spirit), Kenichi (artwork sucks butt but [no pun intended] good story line), Kamichu! (if you want a really cute anime), Mushi-shi (kinda creepy but really cool), Ouran High school (awesome comedy), Ragnarok (a bit slow in the beginning but picks up near the ending), Rahxephon (if you want a deep deep anime), Beck (an amazing anime especially if you love music), School rumble (a wacky romantic comedy), Fooly cooly (really wacky and awesome music by the pillows), The melancholy fo Haruhi Suzumiya (a deep anime even though it doesn't seem like it), Samurai Champloo (great characters, great music, great build up, great story line, an all around great anime), Samurai 7 (awesome especially if you've ever done any japanese sword training [I'm doing Iaido] since it is based off of an old japanese movie called "the seven samurai" and that movie was originally based off of the legend of "the 47 ronin", it's a true story, anyways the anime follows actually tactics, stances, and cutting[or slashing] methods one would actually practice in japanese sword fighting)...I still have more but I don't want the font to be to small. XD
