Caine laughed at the compliment, and chuckled again watching Dragon dig in. The boy DID love his nachos. He had been sure to put extra everything on it - because he'd made these himself. He wasn't technically a cook, but he'd gotten permission. For both of them, actually. The 'real' food would be along shortly, and he'd deliver that, too. Truth was, he wasn't technically on duty. He'd clocked out nearly an hour before, and had been staying to help with the load of people. Without getting paid. That's just who Caine was.

"Liking the nachos, Dragon?" he asked with a grin.

Dragon nodded, grinned, and went back to digging in. Caine pulled up a chair, and sat with the two. Dragon didn't seem to mind. Not even as he scooted closer, and stole a chip. Instead, the blue-eyed intern started to talk.

"Caine! I had something to tell you. I didn't see you in the halls the other day. Dr. Peterson said you got an A on that paper. Told me to tell you. You know, the one about disease treatment in children? I, personally, thought the paper was very cool. And you presented it like... wow. I was blown away. I just hope I can convince Dr. Grizz to accept my paper late... Rai's been helping me with it, but I just can't seem to pinpoint the difference between malpractice and malicious practice. I know one's a legal term and the other's not - but that's about as far as I get. If only he were around to ask for help..."

Caine just sat there listening, and laughed as Dragon brought up Grizz. He glanced behind him, and tried to catch the man's eye. He was also wondering, though, where Jase was... While Caine WASN'T on the clock, Jase WAS.
