Ala's focus had been entirely upon Simon, so when Tyven suddenly intercepted her, she was caught offguard. "Let. Me. Go." She growled at the snake girl, glaring at Tyven's audacity to intercept her. So what if she'd gotten the snot knocked out of her otherwise?

Fuming, Alaqua finally relaxed enough that Tyven let her go. Furious, the teen decided take her anger out on someone a little weaker in her mind: Cleo. Yup, that little prissy girl had insulted her as well! So she became Ala's next target.

A flying fist headed towards Cleo. The koala girl wished they'd just all shut up... Bob was groaning and wondering what his girl was getting into....

That was the dumbest thing anyone had done in a long, long time.

Once again, Ala paid no mind to Tyven. Attacking Cleo was the easiest way to put her into a beserk mode, and she simply launched herself at Alaqua, intending to rip her apart, using fists, claws, and fangs.

In fact, it would take one of Ala's would be attackers, like Simon or even Cleo herself, to get Tyven away from Ala. Tyven, usually slowed down by cold, had actually been forced to train in it by Kuyoja, of all people, to bring up her endurance. It had worked.

Not that Cleo didn't have at least two knives on her body.

Ala got lucky. Not lucky in the sense that Cleo stopped Tyven from attacking her, oh no. No, she was lucky in the way that her fist actually managed to clip the girl in the cheek when Cleo had spun around to block herself. She had been distracted with Hyde, and how he was acting to the stuttering little cute buggy thing. An attack on her came as a total surprise.

Sure, she was used to being messed with when she was walking around alone, but with Hyde around? With Tyven around, dear gods. It was unheard of. She hadn't been expecting to be the one to be launched at - what had she done?!

And, oh, was she lucky that Cleos cheekbone didn't break. The birds bones were more delicate then a humans. Cleo would have killed her. Instead, it was enough just to send her head in the opposite direction she had been twisting with a little jerk; the goldcrest actually squeaked in her surprise.

"What the hell?!" Her voice was tight with anger in surprise and - she tasted blood. It wasn't coppery in anger, but apparently Cleo had been down on her tongue hard enough to make it bleed when she was punched. She still didn't feel the pain, but she felt the little ridges against the roof of her mouth. Cleo turned back to the koala and licked her lips in anger; it turned her lips a soft red. "What the HELL was that for?!"

A normal person would have stopped Tyven. Cleo, with blood in her mouth and anger in her gut, couldn't find it in her to grab at her sister. Instead, she coughed, and wiped her hand across her mouth.

She was attacked from a direction she hadn't been expecting. Instinctively, Ala's arms went up to protect her face and ears. She fell under Tyven's weight and strength, hitting the ground hard. She'd probably have bruises on her back from that... but it was the least of her worries at the moment. She was mostly worried about getting killed...

The koala girl's dragon companion was not happy about all of this! His girl was being silly again and was now getting beat up. With a load roar, he shoved his way to where Tyven and Ala were and tried to bat the snake girl off of Ala with wings, tail, paws, whatever. He didn't want to hurt the girl, but she was hurting HIS girl...

((Gonna go ahead and reply cause... Simon's gonna get in on this pretty fast >3> ))

Everyone else, everything else, he lost sight of it... even Nero when someone dared break the peaceful sanctuary of his rainy day. As quick as the attacked reacted, he and Tyv both moved.

Tyven just happened to be closer.

It was a very simple thought process... you mess with my friends, you mess with me, and you mess with me... Well. Even if Ala had thought to get the weaker one, she'd wound up provoking the two "stronger" ones. If only she knew the truth of Cleo.

As Tyven landed the first few punches, Simon had a second to use his brain. His first idea was to hold the girl down while Tyven beat the s**t out of her... But well, someone else decided to get in on it... a dragon, sure, he had the duty to protect her but...

"Two against ones not fair--" Simon announced to the beast, stepping between the dragon and the snake-girl with a balled fist... he did manage to land a solid punch on the dragons face, something he instantly regretted. It felt like he'd just punched a brick wall...

He didn't slow down though, he stepped forward once more, grabbing whatever he could on the flapping, swatting creature and throwing his full massive weight into it... attempting to wrestle it back much like he did his own dragon at home.

'cept this time they weren't playing...

Nero's attention once again focused on Simon as he stood up. He stood there without saying a word as Simon seemed to be trying to calm down all the girls. He was contemplating just quietly walking off when he heard something he hadn't expected, sure it was only a simple 'Hey' but it didn't seem at all threatening. Taken a but off guard Nero stood there for a minute just looking up at Simon before finally managing to stammer out, "U-u-um h-h-hey..."

Before he could even think of saying anything else the situation with the girls started to escalate. This wasn't good at all. The gray girl attacking the girl who had said hi to him and them Tyven attacking the gray girl, and now a dragon had joined the fray. Nero didn't know what to do, he didn't like fighting, sure he knew how to, his father had taught him quite a bit, but it didn't mean he went out looking for a fight. And before he could even think of anything Simon was attacking the dragon.

Nero was starting to really worry now. Simon was taking on a dragon and that wasn't at all safe. Without really thinking Nero stepped forward with speed that most wouldn't have thought the small boy had and tried to wrap his arm around one of Simon's. "J-Jekel! A-are you c-c-crazy? Th-that's a dr-dragon!" He wasn't sure he was getting through to Simon so looking at the girl who had been hit he said, "Pl-please, c-can y-y-you h-help me try t-to c-calm ever-everyone down?"

Tyven was too lost in herself to have the dragon's half-hearted attacks be anything but encouragement. Pain to fuel her red-hazed rage. She would tear Ala to shreds if she wasn't stopped soon, actually. Tyven just wanted to break her into nothing.

There was no thought, just feeling. She was big, strong, and deadly.

Mam and Jem might be angry if Tyven killed her. Would Tyven be upset? The question made Cleo think for just a second before Nero spoke up, and she looked over to him with wide eyes.

"...Tyven might be upset if she killed her." She agreed finally, and then jumped at her sister. Tyven was all wrapped up in Ala (Haha), so it wasn't hard to grab her and hang on. Cleo held tight to the tall scaled girl and tugged in an attempt to pull her off. Cleo had knives, and she was fast, but Tyven was strength, and anger, and bloodlust.

"Tyvvie! STOP it! I don't want you to her her!" Anymore. But that was moot. She kept tugging, digging her heels against the sidewalk as she tried to drag. "You're scaring me, Tyvvie!"

Well, she wasn't... but Cleo could always throw a good act. She sounded scared, she said she was scared, and there was blood on her lips. Cleo pressed her face against her sister, wherever she could reach, and kept her grip tight.

"Tyven, please."

It didn't work at first, but Cleo's persistence paid off, the sound of her little voice chipping away at the red blinding Tyven. Soon enough, she was aware of the sensation of her fist striking something repeatedly and blinked down at the poor koala in slight confusion.

Swallowing rapidly, Tyven only stared for a moment, the blows stopping, before standing suddenly, Cleo still attached, and swaying. Her head hurt. Her body was sore from the effort. Her knuckles were raw. And she's come out on top in the fight.

"... Cleo...?" And then, slowly, the memory came back, but now it seemed as if Alaqua had punched the goldcrest hours ago, and Tyven, still angry, didn't resume her attack, instead moving away, gaze going to Simon and the dragon. Dragon? She could feel the harsh sting of talon cuts on her back and arms. Hrm.

It all seemed to happen in a blur and it was like a train wreck, Kliken could neither look away nor could he flee like he had really, really wanted to do. Instead his eyes held as though fascinated. The gray girl took a swing at one of the group, the pretty colored bird, then she got hit by the tall purple girl, who got hit by a dragon... that in of itself was the most scary thing... then the guy with the long tail did something that had Kliken rather awed, he hit a dragon!

The leech was pretty well convinced in that moment that the shark had to be the bravest person in the world... he was proven wrong a moment later though as the tiny bird girl pounced on the purple girl and actually got her off of the gray girl, "Woah..." It was all he could get out as he watched the blur of a fight. His eyes went from the one battling it out with the dragon to the girl on the ground who'd had gotten a rather vicious beating... and he found himself wondering, "D-Do you t-think she dead Tural?" He whispered to his dragon.

He wondered if he should run now, before he was labeled a witness to a murder that had to be dealt with... his feet started to move but to his shock he was heading toward the scary people instead of away. His worry for whether or not the girl on the ground were dead or not overriding his self preservation it seemed. He was calling himself an idiot even as he reached her side, kneeling down hesitantly to look her over... not sure what he'd do if now that he was there. He didn't really know that much first aid, he wasn't at all good at fighting so he couldn't defend her if they wanted to finish her off... coming over to check on her was him failing completely at thinking ahead.

Bob's attention had been upon Tvyen, so Simon's punch caught him rather off-guard. The brass was a bit dazed for a moment, blinking as his eyes focused upon his attacker. He growled, low in his throat, at the shark boy who'd dared to interrupt his attempts to save his girl. He aimed a fireball at the shark, then was distracted from that battle.

The dragon's attention was back on Ala when he saw the little yellow girl pull the snake girl off. "'LA!" The girl was still curled up on the ground, her arms up over her face still. Bob craned his head down to nudge at the girl, crooning worriedly.

Ala groaned, which made Bob look relieved. She was alive! The brass hunched low to the ground, giving a start as Ala lowered her arms. One eye was already closing over, puffed up and starting to turn colors already. She spat blood onto the ground, generally wiping her mouth. If it wasn't for her fur, one would be able to see the bruises already starting to color on her back, sides, stomach, and arms.

Bob crooned unhappily as he spotted blood starting to dribble down the girl's back from where she'd fallen onto the pavement. As the koala girl sat up, her injuries became more and more obvious. Blood oozed from her nose, which appeared to be broken. She winced, reaching towards her ribs and the other scrapes along her arms and sides were beginning to bleed as well.

The brass hissed as someone came close, wrapping about his girl closely enough to make her cry out in pain. "Sorry, 'La..." The brass meekly apologized and loosened from her before looking back up at the boy. Ah, this was a different one from the ones hurting her... maybe he was going to help Ala? "You help her? She's hurt..." The brass pleaded with Kliken, eying his girl worriedly.

Ala had managed to sit up and was carefully leaning against Bob, her face pale with pain.

There was one thing to be said about that, Simon had balls... Not anybody would just run up and punch a dragon taller than himself. Whatever though, he actually made it out unharmed... If only thanks to Tyven being pulled off of Ala. When the dragon had backed up to conjure up a fireball, the shark-boy had only stared dead set, ready to dodge or duck and tumble... or block, whatever it was in response to the next attack.

But the fight ended as quickly as it had started... Before anything happened, Nero was on his arm... foolishly, Simon actually looked down at the stuttering voice that spoke to him... face momentarily loosing anger-- but quickly regained it, thats a dragon "I don't care!" he snapped back... whatever! He'd take anyone on... not that he was mad at Nero for stopping him, he was just a loud and riled up teenage boy right now.

As Bob ran to aid his girl though, he withdrew his fight... and stared back at Cleo and Tyven... Some newcomer had come to make sure the roadkill was still alive, "She asked for it, don't feel sorry for her." he noted to the younger boy, giving an icy look. "You can call an ambulance in the store there..." but, apparently not heartless. She'd done wrong, Tyven had taught her a lesson... "They probably already are." he glanced through the windows at the commotion inside the little coffee shop.

He then leaned over to snag the shirt he'd abandoned earlier that day, chucking it at the tattered mess "Clean yourself up." he spat, insultingly as he turned away. "Lets go." he noted, instinctively grabbing Nero's wrist and just start walking away... leaving Cleo and Tyven to follow... Medusa could choose her side from there. "We need to get out of here."

Away from potential police... and well, Tyven looked like she could use a bandaid or two. And simon... Simon needed somewhere to calm the ******** down. Whether it was by sitting down for a while or pounding the s**t out of someone himself, he didn't care... whichever came first.

Medusa, to put it bluntly, was scared shitless. Her eyes darted back and forth between one group and the other, and the moment it started, it had stopped. Lasted less than five minutes.

Medusa was shaking, looking at the goldcrest and wondering what her deal was. She'd have to insult Tessa later with that... what was she, a schizo? Freaking weird bird, if you asked her.

The jellyfish girl didn't want anything to do with anyone; she was easily hurt, and didn't appreciate what had occurred, and didn't want to be there any longer. But she couldn't just bow out and act like a coward... so she did the next best thing; go to gather information.

And that's how she ended up to follow Simon, Cleo, and Tyven. She wondered where they were going... Hyde was awesome up until he actually proved he could beat something up, to which it made her opinion of him lower. Stupid shark? Bull-headed? Yeah, pretty much.

So she remained quiet, watching with intelligent eyes, learning so much more than she had before - maybe being all talk and no bite wasn't the route to go. Medusa was definitely going back to take a few classes... seeing as she was relatively squishy, and could only count on her zapping ability, even when touching people. But being tackled like Ala had... she didn't want to be on the receiving end of that anytime soon.

"... 'pologize about Tessa," Medusa murmured loud enough for Cleo to hear, just in case she decided to turn on her, as well. Good grief.

Nero was surprised at how fast the fight had ended, almost as fast as it had begun. He was relieved that the bird girl had manged to calm Tyven down, but now he was worried about the gray girl, she seemed to be in pretty bad shape. A boy he hadn't noticed before was kneeling down next to her and her dragon, and Nero was about to join them and help the best he could but Simon had grabbed Nero by the wrist and was dragging him off.

Nero wasn't sure what to do. He wanted to make sure the gray girl was ok, but things seemed to be going better for him and Simon in a rocky sort of way and Nero didn't want to reverse the little bit of ground he'd gained back. So after glancing back at the gray girl and the boy next to her once, he let himself be dragged away. "U-um...wh-where are w-we g-going?" He ventured to ask, not really having anything better to say.

Then he remembered Tyven had gone against the dragon for a moment before Simon intervened. Looking back over his shoulder, he saw that not only were the bird girl and Tyven following but so was another girl that had managed to stay out of the brawl. Focusing his attention on Tyven though, he asked her, "A-are you o-ok-kay T-Tyven?" Tyven seemed to have been the one to cause the most damage but that didn't mean she wasn't hurt too.

"You're hurt." Cleos words were reproachful. She turned Tyven around a time or two, fingers petting between the cuts and blood, before she allowed them to start after Simon and Nero. One arm snaked around her sisters waist to hold her loosely, fingers curled around one thin hip. Even if Tyven didn't want - or need - support, Cleo was there and the snake better damn well take it.

"Are we going to the warehouse, Hyde?" She said, letting her voice pitch a little louder then usual to maybe hit the shark as words instead of outside noise. He was probably narrowing in on that cute little scorpion boy so... "I think I put some first aide stuff there. We should go there."

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

A cool glance was thrown at Medusa at the apology. Cleo gave her a fleeting, cold look, before that cheerful smile crossed her face and her expression lit up to something almost like warmth. "It's alright! Just don't insult her again, okay? Tyvvie an' me, we like Tessa. She's interesting, even if she DID scar my face."

It was just a little thin line, hardly anything to notice. Cleo didn't, anymore. She turned back to Tyven as they moved, tone instantly going to worried.

"Are you feeling okay, Tyvvie? You're all a mess and - mostly naked. Take your coat back."
