Since Silent Hill was also made into a movie, this works. I submit Pyramid Head. Yeah I know the helmet is a crude approximation, but this is Gaia we're working with here.

It doesn't have to be a serial killer. ANY horror movie will do, or any sci-fi movie, if horror is too contrictive.
