Her ears lowered in slight embarrassment. "I know they are and I would never harm them. They're just really creepy looking. The fact that they have eight legs, rather than the typical six is weird too." She said, feeling so hopeless for being afraid of a simple insect.

"They also have a ton of eyes, or so I was told." Narhari hadn't really bothered to look at them long enough to count on how many eyes they had. But he was told they had more then two. How odd, yet fascinating was that? He wanted to go find one now, but he didn't want to leave the other here without a word. As well as, seeing how she didn't like them, he wasn't going to make her join him on his hunt to see how many eyes they had. He probably wouldn't be able to see anyways.

She shuddered at the thought of getting close to a spider to even count its eyes. The amount they had didn't really bother her though. "Well, I believe any sort of bug has a bunch of eyes... but, I could be wrong. It's hard to get near enough to any insect to count, let alone a spider." She told him, still slightly disgusted from the thought of the arachnid.

He laughed. "I'm sure your right. I don't really go around looking at a ton of bugs" He told her with a shake of his head. "I just thought it was interesting that they have eight eyes. I wonder why they need that many?" he pondered on this. What would it be like to have that many eyes? He'd probably be able to see anything and no one would be able to sneak up on him. Oh! That could be cool.

"That's good to hear. Some bugs may take it as a thread and try to bite you." She said with a small frown at the thought. At his question, she shrugged a bit before slowly lifting a paw to lick at it briefly. "Well, maybe, they can't see as good as we can without so many eyes."

"OH! That's a good one. I never would have thought of it." He told her with a smile. She was right, they probably had so many to make up for the poor eye sight they had. He smiled at her. She was such a smart lioness! It amazed him.

She giggled at his reaction as she lowered her paw back to the ground. "Well, you learn something new every day." She told him softly, though she was sure he knew this already. When he smiled at her, she blinked for a brief moment before smiling back softly.

"That we do, that we do" He agreed with her. It was what made life so wonderful, being able to learn stuff every day. Even if you weren't aware of it. He smiled at her for a moment. "Life wouldn't be so good if we didn't."

When he agreed, she smiled more, happy that she didn't sound cliche or even corny with her prior statement. Her tail swished softly. Hearing his comment, she nodded. "Everyone would still be like cubs if we didn't learn at least one thing every day. I think that would be pretty sad, despite how much I enjoy cubs' naivety." She added.
