Bella was more than happy to follow Cassie's direction and go over and sit down. "We've made eggs a lot - I like eggs - and we've made a cake before and chicken and steaks and pancakes and french toast." the girl answered, ticking off the things she'd made on one hand. The problem was that she listed six things and had to give herself an extra finger to tick that off.
Alice squeaked quietly in joy at the sight of the animals. "Oooooh! They're all so pretty!"

Cassie laughed a little and said "How do you like your eggs best? i like sunny side up."
Fiona skipped out into the middle and fell on the ground, carful of her wings "I like to bask in the sun with them sometimes too. When i dont have chores to do." she smiled in bliss

Bella thought for a while. "I like mine over-easy or scrambled. I tried sunny side a few times but I always accidentally break the yoke so they come out scrambled anyway." she laughed at that, remembering how Harriet would usually have to make the eggs if they wanted the yokes unbroken.
Alice was happy to walk over and plop down beside her friend. She chose to land on her rear first and then carefully lay down, since she wasn't quite good enough to flop all the way without mussing her wings. "Do the animals like cuddles?" she asked timidly. She wanted to hug a critter!

Cassie nodded "It does take practice to get sunny side up to come out right"
Fiona giggled because before she had a chance to reply two of the mongeese had moved to sniff at her before flopping down, ones head was on her belly, the other lay its head on her hand

Alice made a soft cooing noise and pet at the mongoose on her belly with her free hand and moving her thumb lightly against the one on her other hand. She was immediately positive that she would love a pet more than anything - animals were just so soft and snuggly! Sure, there were mean ones out there, but there were mean people too and the child had been lucky to encounter neither so far.
"Yes, I try to practice as much as I can. But I don't get a chance very often - Alice likes hers scrambled if she wants eggs at all. She likes pancakes better" the Belune laughed happily at that.
"Fiona seems really nice. Her hair is pretty." the girl commented then. "Is that color hair very common on this world?"

Fiona started to hum softly while petting Sandy, her favorite, whose head was on her belly.
Cassie made a face "That shade of Orange is not common, it is usually a little darker. and it gets darker with age." she pulled on the end of her own aburny colored hair "Like this."

Bella looks at it and smiled. "It is a very pretty color. I have often considered forming hair but couldn't decide what kind I'd like. I think I would want curls." the Belune commented idly.
Alice was content to practically snooze and pet the animals, her friend's soft humming lulling her into a dozing state. She was quite content at this point.

Fiona was glad that Alice seemed happy just basking in the sun with the animals
Cassie nodded "Hair is a funny thing. Most people are never happy with the hair they have and are always trying to change it."

My race gets to pick theirs. Part of the reason I got sent to gaia was I was having trouble finding proper inspiration for my final form. We're supposed to work on getting one we like while here."
After a while, Alice started to wonder something. "Hey Fio...what kind of stories do you like?"

"I see, that is actually a good way i suppose, you get exposed to all sorts of things this way." Cassie nodded
Fiona stopped humming to answer "well i like all sorts of stories, I love to read, i like supernatural stuff best, what about you?"

"Yes. Previously we were kept in institutions and just shown natural creatures until for projects and were supposed to create forms based on those traits to figure out which we liked best. Belunes - Myaar who are like me - are really good at the assignments but don't get any real inspiration from it. So we get stuck formless. Ten of us were sent here as an experiment to see if it would help. It was a better alternative to being in an insane asylum. Though, I kind of don't want to go back." the Belune confessed shyly.
"I can't read yet. Daddy and Bella are teaching me though. Bellaluna works in a book shop and she brings home stories. They named me from a story!"

Cassie nodded in sympathy "I can understand that, the world had be a hard place to be, But asylums are not a good place to be unless you need to be sheltered." she shook her head alittle then offered her a brownie, they had cooled enough to eat now
"Oh Alice in Wonderland I bet, i like that one."

"Yeah. They considered us mentally ill since we couldn't find a form for ourselves." the girl said with a shrug, taking a bite of the brownie. After she'd swallowed it, her face lit up. "Quite delicious. I might have to request your recipe at some point."
"Yeah, Bella's been reading it to me. We like the guy with the hat since he reminds me of Daddy. And he's got buckteefs like me!" Alice giggled.

"Thank you muchly." Bella laughed before thinking. "We might want to call the girls in now that the brownies are ready to be eaten."
Alice giggled a bit more and pet at the mongeese that were snuggled up to her. "What are you doing for Halloween?"
