General labor means any task that must be done. I dig holes, move heavy objects, swing a hammer, use a saw. Whatever needs to be done with my muscles.

Yes, and no. I'm used to manual labor so that's not new. But the environment, employer, and organization of labor is very different from what I'm used to so it will be pretty exciting.

Yes, I suppose I will. Although, all California residences between 19 and 23 are eligible to join the conservation corps. So I recommend everyone do it. For at least like, a year.

Crap, I keep forgetting that you're not of legal age yet. I may also be wrong about the age, but I know you have to be at LEAST 18.
