((Sorry I took so long to write back!))
Cookie smiled. "Oh, okay." She walked over to the shore and placed one toe in. It was slightly cold to the touch. Cookie looked to Basil and nodded. She didn't want to look chicken or anything. So, she put both feet in.
Tiger Lilly stayed on Cookie's head. "I don't know about swimming..." She hadn't ever tried it before. The fay worried about her wings getting wet.

Scraps splashed about in the water, grinning widely.
Basil stuck his feet in the water and wriggled his toes, "A bit cold but it's alright really". He waded into the water til it was up almost up to his waist before sitting down. The water was up to his chin and he shivered a little as his body tried to get used to the temperature.
((I recently changed Basil's txt colour because I realised this colour was more like the colour of his fur. Sorry if this makes things confusing sweatdrop heart ))

Cookie smiled as she watched the male get almost all the way in. She decided that if he could do it then why not her? So, she waded in a little farther before bending her knees and sitting in the water. She made a small, "it's cold" noise. "I'm in!" she told Basil.
"You won't be getting me in there!"

Basil splashed some water onto his face and rubbed his eyes "I was in need of a good wash" he laughed, turning to Tigerlilly and grinning, "Oh come on, its not gonna hurt you" he splashed water in her direction, before turning back to Cookie "Is she always like this around water?"

Cookie looked to the fairy clinging to her back. "Well, she like that about most things. Wants to keep me safe." She winked at Tiger Lilly before splashing Basil back.
"I'm right here I can hear you!" She crossed her arms and the floated off towards shore. No way she could wet out there.

Basil watched her go, "Must be a pixie/fairy thing..." he ran his fingers through the water and watched Scraps as he splashed about nearby, "So Cookie, what's it like where you live? Are your family the noisy type or can you actually find peace and quiet if you want it?"

Cookie nodded. "Well, I live in an apartment in the City. At the moment I have not other family. It's just Tiger Lilly and me. I think if there were others owned by Mina they will get their own apartment as it's not big enough for anyone else." This made her laugh a little. "So, you don't get peace?"
((I'm setting this before my other rps so at the time I didn't have the others. wink ))

“Oh I’m sorry…I guess I just assumed everyone round ‘ere lived with others. Peace is very hard to come by in my house, with the younglings shouting, playing and breaking things, and adults with the minds of children…there are a couple of them unfortunately” he shook his head and pictured all the chandra that lived with him, “Innocence can be cute, but it looses its charm quick smart when you’re exposed to it constantly. You’re lucky you have your own house”

"Really? I don't know it sounds wonderful." Cookie had always been lonely. Even with Tiger Lilly. She knew it was just an odd pain inside of her. Deep down she knew it was something much bigger but what she didn't know...yet.

Cookie smiled. "Okay, I believe you." Cookie knew she had to take his word for it even if she didn't think it would be that bad. She thought it would be nice having lots of others around. She looked towards Tiger Lilly who was sitting on shore putting her feet in.

Basil stared down at his feet and wriggled his toes, he could feel an awkward silence coming on and felt the need to change the subject, “So! Er…how long have you and Tigerlilly known each other? You two seem pretty close, like sisters in a way…”
((I wasn’t sure if he had asked that already and if so, sorry ^^; …we’ll just have it that he forgot lol XD))

"She's been there ever since I was an egg. She watched over me and cared for me. Now, she's become like my mother. Did you just get Scrapes?" Cookie remember him showing up, but that didn't mean that that's when Basil got him.

Basil shook his head, “Nah I’ve had scraps awhile now. But he does go wandering sometimes and-” he looked around them to find that his werewolf was no longer with them, “Heh, and there’s a perfect example! No need to worry though, he’ll be home in time for his breakfast, he never misses a meal… Not that you would think he’d need to ‘eat’ but anyways!” Basil realised he was rambling and looked down at his toes hoping she would talk for a while.

Cookie looked around for Basil's familiar. He did seem to be gone. "What do you think he does when he's gone? I don't think Tiger Lilly has ever left me." Cookie saw her fairy familiar sitting on the beach with her feet in the water.
