A movie would be good if they can pin the characters down pretty closely. There are a lot of them that need to be in the movie and some that don't. The first few book would make an excellent beginning with small roles for the boys in ther life. Then see if the fans like it and go from there. Afterall, who doesn't make one movie followed by another and another on the same charater? Sequels! I think it would be hard to even find an Anita....I wouldn't want that job of finding her for the role. But yeah, definately a movie shoudl be in the works and offered up to her fans. I for one would buy it immediately be first in line to see it and so on. Although the last few books have been soft porn in my opinion, they still need to include the poeple, maybe not so much sex?
I'm waiting for the release of Skin Trade to come out ay the beginning of June to see where or what Anita is doing now. Hopefully more into the crime and less into sexual positions..... wink

i amthrilled to be here in this guild and let me just say that by making a ovie/series, they could really hurt the fans. I mwan, how do you capture the beauty of the characters we love and still it be passable? I am worried that some of my faves, Jean-Claude and Nathaniel, be played by boovs that can not pull it off. On the other hand, it would be amazing effects and costuming to see! Ugh, wish they would make a movie already! xd

isnt it official thats its going to be a tv show? im not xactly sure but i thought i read an announcement recently.
although its going to be aired in a channel ive never heard of before...

I love the idea of a show being the best series ever, but I'm so afraid that they are going to ruin it for me. Laurell K. Hamilton has partnered up with Lionsgate and The Independent Fims Channel, and not that I'm saying that it won't be any good, I'm just a little afraid that what they do with the lycanthropes, like it isn't going to be that good, and that it might look a little low budget filmish if you know what I mean lol. confused Im also afraid that the people they get to play the characters aren't going to bring them to life or whatever lol.
