we have practice usually twice a week....mondays 6-9pm...and thursdays 6-9pm....sometimes we'll have practice before a football game and then we always have practice the morning of a contest.....those are the worst and most tiring....you'd think since we are having to perform at our best that night they'd give us some slack...lol

Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:30 unless we have a performance during the week then we do not practice that day...

Let's see.... no practice (for percussion) on Mondays, then it's 6-830 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 230-430 Thursdays, and 230-330 Fridays.
...
And sometimes they make us come to the 230-4 Monday practices.
Yup.
And people wonder why I have no job.... sweatdrop

Monday is percussion practice from 6-9 pm and Tuesday is practice with the whole band.

We practice everyday afterschool from 3:30-5:30 and on Fridays we stay after usually and practice until 5:30, eat for 30 minutes, and play at the football game from about 6:30ish-10:30ish.
In other words, marching band owns me.

Well Marching Band is a full blown class here so we practice every morning out on the field during first hour, unless its raining pretty hard and we'd be wet for the rest of the day. Hot, Cold, Wet... we march it all. On the REALLY cold mornings we only run through the show once and go inside and if its starting to rain we get through as much as possible then go in. Then we have a practice every Tuesday night for 2 hours. And on game days we get to the stadium about an hour early and run through the show backfield. During the summer we have a week of camp and weekly tuesday practices. whee

Hmm... Let's see...
Monday: 5th period practice (1 hour and 15 mins)
Tuesday: 5th period practice and after school sectionals (2:45 to 4:15)
Wednesday: 5th period practice and Night full band rehearsal (6:30 to 9:00)
Thursday: 5th period practice and after school sectionals (2:45 to 4:15)
Friday: Perform at Homeshow
Saturday: 8:30AM to 5:00 PM Full day rehearsal (unless we have a competition, then the schedule varies)
Sunday: NONE
And the people at our school wonder why Band Kids don't have a social life? rolleyes

OK, here's the breakdown on Rehearsals for Percussion & Band at LaVergne Highschool
Monday: 1 hour in class + 4:00-6:45 outside
Tuesday: 1 Hour in class + 4:00-6:45 outside
Wednesday: Off(or for people like me, work)
Thursday: 1 hour in class + 4:99-6:45 outside
Friday: Schedule varies according to Game Location
Percussion normally rehearses for an hour or so on home games
Saturday: Schedule varies in according to contest location
Early morning rehearsals may be scheduled, depending on contest travel times
That totals out to about 12 hours and 25 minuets in band, not including percussions exess rehearsal friday, time spent at football games, and time spent at contests.

My band practices 2 days during school, 3 two weeks after camp untill school starts, and 5 days during pre-camp and camp! (last part: well that's a major "DUH!") razz
