Hey K. biggrin
Loki is out of town until Saturday and I'm not sure how the buying of subforums works, but I thought I'd give you a heads-up so you don't wonder why she isn't getting back to you right away.

The funds come right out of the guild account when you purchase them.
Loki goes in through her Administrator panel and there's an option for purchasing them and it takes it out of the guild account. I think they cost like 2500 or something.
From the looks of it the GPG is doing decent on the donations (not that you couldn't donate if you wanted and it would STILL be very much appreciated I'm sure).
I only know this because I captain another guild.

Might I suggest setting up official advise forums for certain age groups in the parenting subforum???
IE One and two months three and four months five and six months seven and eights months nine and ten months eleven and twelve months 18 months 2 years 3 years and so on...
It might make it easier to find advise for the ages we are looking for

I think I'd perfer to stay with user-made subjects rather than draw up "official" threads for different age groups.
I like members making their own subject-oriented threads so they can be specific and ask exactly what they need to know about.
I feel that making some sort of age divided threads may end up too broad and not cover things as well. Not to mention it'd be very time consuming and tedious to do.
Also, many, MANY times a 3 year old child will be doing the same things as a 4 year old. Or a 6 moth old may be doing something like a 4 month old. I don't think it's our place to set up some sort of age standards, since all children develop differently.

I was thinking that it would be fun whenever a baby is born to a GPGer to send a bouquet of flowers to that GPGer from the guild. We could have a mule to collect flowers, inks, and gold for official bouquets from the GPG. If this idea is approved, I'd be willing to organize it.

What a sweet idea! Or even jewelry (cause I think you can engrave messages on those?)?

I think that's an adorable idea!
I like this idea. We'll have to see if we can't arrange for something like this. Thanks for the suggestion! mrgreen

How some entertaining quizzes, trivias and contests about children, enfants and adults? That would make the guild "bumpin"!

i was thinking. I am a single mom and maybe there could be a place for single parents to go and talk ... becuse it really hard being a single parent and some other parents cant relate to being a single parent...

lizzie- we have a single parents thread. I'll dig it up for you. The thing is there aren't always people chatting in it. But it's still worth reviving. here you go Single Parents
