Kaimi, in the middle of a big bite of sandwich, shook her head and swallowed. "Nope. I'm not supposed to go out alone. But what Naomi doesn't know isn't going to hurt her." Kaimi grinned and shrugged a little. "I like going out alone. Theres a lot to explore around here."

The sphinx-child nodded and took another bite of her sandwich. "Definitely," she said in agreement after she swallowed her food, "catching little sand crabs." She held up her hand that held the water-filled bag with the little critter in it.
"What should its name be?"

Kaimi eyed the crab. "You should call it Trouble, since it caused so much." She grinned at the other girl, an amused gleam in her eye as she crammed the rest of her sandwich in her mouth.

Keres gave a sudden outburst and cackled. "HA, that sounds appropriate," she commented as she leaned in close to the bag. "Little git."
It was then that something started ringing and buzzing in her bag, and Keres startled slightly with a sudden sharp intake of breath and a wild hand movement. By the time she maneuvered her free hand into the bag at her shoulder, the cellphone had stopped, but she pulled it out anyways and gave it a glance.
"Oops... That's Anya. She probably wants me home." Keres gave a sad little face while she let the phone drop back into her sandy bag.

Stretching a little, Kaimi grinned. "I should probably go home too." She said it reluctantly, but knew it was true. "It was really good meeting you, Keres."

Keres nodded and gave her usual smirky-smile. "You too, Kaimi. We should hang out again," she offered, and then rose up on all four paws. She gave a small stretch of her wings.
"Byeee!" she said, and then moved off back down the beach. She gave a wave over her shoulder, but said no more, as she stared at the crab still hanging in its baggy-trap in her other hand.
