Entry: 029 Subject: Revenge II-class Star Cruiser Status: Fanon Capsule: The Revenge II-class Star Cruiser is one of the most powerful weapons in the Imperial Starfleet. She is the heart for Imperial Carrier Task Forces, over 4.8 Km of starship dedicated to starfighter deployment and ground assault. The ship carries six wings of starfighters, as well as the capacity to deploy three full stormtrooper divisions. In addition the ship is equipped 240 class-7 turbolasers, 480 class-5 turbolasers, 320 class-5 ion cannons, and 20 class-9 concussion missile tubes. Additionally the Revenge II-class carries a pair of high powered gravity well generators and a number of tractor beams. It also is equipped with both primary and secondary shields, additionally it features a double hull design enabling it to take more damage to its hull before being impaired. While massive the Revenge II is quite fast for a carrier, capable of up 20 MGLTs. Also, it has a high speed Class 0.5 Hyperdrive, making it ideal for rapid response to enemy breakthroughs. While it isn’t designed for direct combat, it can be an effective combat warship when pressed, and is a deadly opponent for most of its foes. Era: Legacy (ABY 130+) Original entry by Stellarmagic

Entry: 030 Subject: Nemesis-class Star Destroyer Status: Fanon Capsule: While the Imperial Starfleet expanded after the vong invasion the Imperial-III Star Destroyer was its primary weapon, now generations later a new Star Destroyer from the Kuat Drive Yards is making its presence felt as the replacement to venerable old Imperial Line, the Nemesis-class. Unlike the Stalwarth-class or the Revenge-class the Nemisis-class is designed exclusively as a mobile turbolaser platform. With the basic arrowhead shape of the old Imperial Star Destroyer as a starting point the Nemesis-class became a monster of a combat destroyer, heavier then its predecessor and much more powerful, the ship had a range of drawbacks including slow speed, light starfighter compliment, and a lack of troop deployment capability. In the new imperial fleet the specialization of vessels made the old multi-role capability of the ISD a drawback rather then an advantage. The Nemesis is armed with 128 Class-12 Turbolasers mounted in sixteen octagonal mounts, 240 Class-8 Turbolasers, 120 Class-7 Ion Cannons, 12 Class-9 Laser Cannons, and 12 Class-12 Proton Torpedo Launchers. This gives the ship enough offensive firepower to be a threat even to the Revenge II-class Star Cruiser. The ship’s small hanger bay is only large enough to carry a maximum of four fighter squadrons or 48 starfighters, and its engines only deliver sufficient thrust for the vessel to make a top speed of 11 MGLTs extremely slow for a modern Destroyer. It also uses a relatively slow class 1 hyperdrive. Still its double shielding and double hull design enable it to take a pounding that would destroy almost any other destroyer. The ship is a mobile fortress, and its utility in line engagements has made it feared among tactical officers in the terrifying position of having to face it in battle. Era: Legacy (ABY 130+)

Entry: 031 Subject: Canderous-class Frigate Status: Fanon Capsule:Developed by MandalMotors after the second Mandalorian Civil War, the Canderous-class reflects the dramatic changes that came along with the ascension of the Mandalorian Deathwatch as the occupiers and owners of Mandalore. The vessel was meant initially as a replacement for the aging Kedalbe-class, but problems with development costs and delays led to the ship first entering service as an adjunct to the older ship. With the stunning performance of the new Imperial Missile Destroyers that had begun appearing during the Sith-Imperial war, the designers at MandalMotors shifted the focuses of the Canderous-class away from Turbolaser cannons. Despite this the ship was centered on a single central energy weapon. The Plasma Particle Beam Cannon, or PP-BC, formed the central spar of the vessel and was developed to be a weapon capable of destroying ships of far greater size and strength then itself. Unfortunately the cannon would prove to be as much a handicap as an offensive tool. Firing the PP-BC resulted in the complete draining of the Tibanna gas reserves onboard the vessel. This meant that once fired the ship would be unable to use any of its energy weapons until the gas reserves were replenished at a star-dock. Additionally the power required to fire the weapon would completely drain the power core, rendering the vessel incapacitated until the generators could recover, a period of about thirty seconds of complete lack of shields, sensors, and engines. Finally the weapon’s effective range was extremely limited due to the plasma beam’s tendency to be disturbed by the ionic effects of other energy weapons and the solar wind, the weapon could only be certain of causing damage at point blank ranges. Partly to counter the shortcoming of the PP-BC, and taking the lessons dealt by the Stalwarth-class during the Sith-Imperial War the MandalMotors design team installed twenty clusters of missiles, each cluster held five Class-9 Heavy Torpedo Tubes. In addition to the missiles the designers placed three Class-3 Ion Cannons, eight Class-7 Ion Cannons, twelve Class-7 Laser Cannons, two Class-12 Turbolasers, eighty Class-7 Turbolasers and two Class-20 Turbolaser Pulsers. The Turbolasers Pulsers fired directly forward, much like the main gun, thus limiting their utility. Because of the focus on forward firing weapons the ship was incredibly maneuverable, capable of making a 180 degree turn in less than ten seconds. Despite that the ship’s primary engine systems were incapable of propelling the vessel faster then 35 MGLTs. The ship reflected a number of older mandalorian traditions when it came to crew capacity and survivability. The ship had a crew complement of just below two hundred; this was made possible through the extensive use of slave circuitry and automation. For armor the ship used a unique mandalorian alloy that was very similar to that utilized in Mandalorian body armor, this gave the ship immense structural strength. You were more likely to eliminate the vessel as a threat by incurring crew losses in your attack then you were to cause its destruction. Additionally the missile tubes were designed so that they could be ejected from the ship in the case of fire or critical failure. Finally the ship featured a classic double hull and the placement of the Tibanna gas reserves immediately around the primary cannon’s xciter. This was done for two reasons, firstly the Tibanna gas had to be close to the main cannon’s xciter in order for enough gas to be on hand to fire the weapon. Secondly the designers hoped that placing the gas there would keep it clear of hostile weapons fire. They didn’t anticipate the use of ion cannons against the ship. An ionic charge could easily cause the PP-BC to destabilize during power-up and charging. Such a hit would result in the detonation of the tibanna gas within the vessel certainly destroying the vessel in the process. Like most mandalorian vessels, shields were of secondary importance, in combat only a single belt of shields are deployed unlike with most other combat vessels. Fortunately for its users the hull is strong enough that the second set of shields is not required. Era: Legacy (ABY 130+)

Entry: 032 Subject: Ship Classification – Star Corvettes and above Status: Interpretation Capsule: When someone says a starship is a Star Destroyer, Star Cruiser, or Star Defender don’t you want to know what they’re talking about? You should, because there is a world of difference from a Battlecruiser and a Star Destroyer, and the use of so many terms around the galaxy leads to a wide array of confusion as to what is what. Firstly, we’re going to be using a classification system pioneered by the Imperial Navy. Only when naming conventions for the New Republic and GFFA deviate from the Imperial model will they be explained. The length figures used are just general guidelines, most ships are placed in classifications based on their displacement, armor, armament, and speed, however since these differences tend to have a direct bearing on the ship’s size the designations given are fairly accurate. It is important to note that many worlds have a separate naming convention from the Imperial system, and therefore the vessels produced from those worlds will have names which are not proportional to their Imperial Designation. Good examples of this are the Carrack Cruiser and Rendili Dreadnaught. So… starting from the smallest vessels, besides starfighters we have… Star Corvettes, are the smallest combatant type of warship, they very in size and scale from the Skipray Blastboat to the KBD-1 Broadside-class and PB-950. Most all combat shuttles fit into this category and often times these ships serve only in secondary roles in any fleet engagement, primarily in the realms of reconnaissance, recovery, and close vehicle support. Some types of Star Corvettes are designed to serve as ultra heavy bombers in fleet operations, while others serve as convoy escort, system patrol, and general police operatives. Star Corvettes are vulnerable to most forms of starfighters as well as and anti-starfighter capital ships. A Lancer Frigate can easily chew threw a couple flights of these craft, and capital ships do have a higher probability of success against these craft then normal starfighters with their turbolasers. When a starfighter squadron isn’t enough, and you don’t have any heavy hitters available, bring in the Heavy Star Corvettes. While technically most of these vessels are larger then 150 meters, some forms of Corellian Gunship like the DP25 are classified as Heavy Star Corvettes because of their high firepower. These ships are used for a wide variety of tasks, ranging from system patrol to blockade running and convoy escort. In some fleets they’ve been pushed into front line combat duty… this has been especially true during the galactic civil war and the Rebel Alliance’s use of Corellian Corvettes and Gunships during fleet operations. These Heavy Corvettes are often used to take on light frigates and sometimes even heavy frigates in small groups. They can not stand up against the might of a Star Destroyer, which usually is the most effective weapon against such a threat. Star Frigates have an overwhelming tendency to be specialized and special purpose ships. Many of these ships are dedicated to the convoy escort and fighter suppression role, while others are dedicated to direct combat operations. Good examples of Star Frigates include the Nebulon B, Lancer Frigate, and Carrack Cruiser. Ships of this class are most effective against smaller vessels like corvettes, though a small squadron may take on a heavy frigate if properly deployed and led. These ships form the backbone of most planetary defense fleets and independent systems as their largest capital ships. Despite that, on the galactic scale these behemoths are far smaller then most Star Destroyers in the Imperial inventory. Ranging from 600-900 meters means this ship is two big to be build in most factory style shipyards, and thus many of them have a production time of several weeks between units. As a general rule of thumb, six heavy frigates can take on a Star Destroyer, but any smaller group will have immense problems with larger adversaries. In most fleet engagements heavy frigates serve to increase the anti-capital ship capability of the fleet and will operate closely to larger vessels to provide mutual support. The backbone of the Imperial and New Republic fleets; Star Destroyers are designed to be highly versatile and capable of independent operations. They can be reconfigured quickly or immediately used to fulfill a wide variety of mission profiles ranging from sector patrol, anti-piracy, and espionage, to direct combat fire-support, planetary invasions and convoy escort. Examples include the Imperial class, Victory class, Harrow class, and Republic class. The MC series of Calamari Cruisers usually either fall in this category or heavy destroyer category. While most people in the galaxy view star destroyers as the supreme overlords of space they are far from it, any true star cruiser, star battlecruiser, or star dreadnaught can easily overwhelm a destroyer. Unlike normal star destroyers, the heavy star destroyers are meant almost exclusively for use in fleet combat operations. They’re the smallest classification of vessels in the imperial inventory dedicated exclusively to fleet combat. These ships are often times only slightly slower and are much more heavily armed. Good examples include the Allegiance class, MC 90 series, and MC80B series. Though well armed, these vessels are not as heavily armored as a cruiser, much less a dreadnaught, so it is quite possible to use two or more normal star destroyers to engage and eliminate such a vessel with proper planning and coordination. Most members of this class of ship are little known, and many of them have been labeled with the misnomer of being Super Star Destroyers, but these ships represent only the second tier of ships of the line for the Imperial navy. They’re slow, heavily armed, and more then capable of taking a beating. Classic examples of this classification include the Titan-class, the Tyrant-class, and Independence-class. These ships are actually quite easy to defeat if they are left unsupported, they’re vulnerable to being outmaneuvered by smaller and faster destroyers. However with proper destroyer support they’re quite capable of making a name for themselves by racking up the losses on the smaller ships. Star Battlecruisers or Star Defenders as they’re called in the New Republic are fast and heavily armed vessels. Unlike Star Cruisers and Star Dreadnaughts these ships are fast for their size, they emphasis speed and firepower over armor, making them a devastating weapon if handled correctly. If used correctly the ships of this class can even take on a Star Dreadnaught. Examples include the Strident-class, Viscount-class, and Vengeance-class. The most dangerous threat to Star Battlecruisers is a Star Dreadnaught backed up by proper destroyer support. Additionally they can be overwhelmed by smaller ships making them an expensive option for combat operations. The ultimate in combat vessels, Star Dreadnaughts serve primarily as flagships and command elements in fleets. They are the most heavily armed and armored vessels in the fleet, still they are more symbol then weapon in most cases. Excellent examples of Star Dreadnaughts include Executor-class, Sovereign-class, and Eclipse-class vessels. The ships in this category tend to be vulnerable to being overwhelmed by attack from smaller ships, especially cruisers and star destroyers. Original entry by Stellarmagic

Entry: 033 Subject: Advanced Star Destroyer Status: Ambiguously Canon Capsule:Advanced Star DestroyerThe Advanced Star Destroyer, tentatively known as the Imperious-class, is the latest iteration of the famous Imperial warship. It was completed in 137 ABY, in the Orbital Construction Yards at Dac. The prototype, named the Imperius, was at its time the largest and most powerful ship of the era. However, there are no specifications as to its size and power, other than it is both "longer than a normal Star Destroyer" and "more powerful than a Pellaeon-class". These statistics imply that the Imperious-class is likewise a Super Star Destroyer. To get a better idea of what she's capable of, we'll simply approximate that she's a bit stronger than a Pellaeon. Thus, her potential armament could include: +230,000 Crew 1,000 Squadrons of 7 Predator-fighter (7000) 3 Years Consumables 500 Squadrons of 4 Epsilon Bombers (2000) 20 AT-ADs 40 AT-CTs +10,000 Stormtroopers +30,000 Army Personel +4050 Quad, Twin, and Regular Turbolasers +425 Ion Cannons +650 Missile Launchers 20 Lambda and Theta-class Shuttles 2,000 MGLT Thrust Class 2 Hyperdrive Class 10 Back-up Hyperdrive However, these statistics may be incorrect, since we don't know the precise size of the ship. Once we have more intel, hopefully any mistakes can be corrected.

Entry: 034 Subject: Legacy-era Imperial Sector Fleet Status: Canon Capsule:
By 130 ABY, the Imperial Remnant had consolidated into the much larger and more powerful Galactic Empire. With the Sith-Imperial War waging against the corrupt Galactic Alliance, a new line of ships was at the ready of the Empire's finest minds. The majority of the ships lay in the control of sector fleets. A sector fleet comprised of:
1 Pelleaon-class Star Dreadnaught 2 Beldon-class Star Battlecruisers 3 Vengeance II-class Star Cruisers 60 Nemesis-class Star Destroyers 90 Stalwarth-class Star Destroyers 60 Wombat-II class Star Frigates 280 Gladius-class Star Frigates
-The Pelleaon-class Star Dreadnaught is the flagship of every fleet, bigger and more powerful than any other one vessel. It has the command role, and is largerly, merely a much larger version of the smaller Stalwarth-class Star Destroyer.
- Beldon Cruisers are slightly smaller than Pellaeons, and focus on ship-to-ship combat, at which they excell at. Nearly 7km long, a Beldons can take on any ship that doesn't have the proper support. A Vengeance II and Beldon are evenly matched, based on abilities.
- Vengeance II-class Cruisers are Carrier vessels, capable of carrying three wings of craft: 2 wings of Predator fighters (72 per wing), and 1 wing of Epsilon Bombers (40 per wing). They are capable in their own right, but their real strength, of course is their capacity to carry numerous fighter craft. It would take 4-5 Nemesis' to beat down a single Vengeance II.
- Nemesis-class Destroyers are ship-to-ship combat vessels, much like the Beldons, but considerably stronger. They specialize in missle combat, and have incredibly durable armor for their size, at the downside of virtually no hangar.
- Stalwarth-class Destroyers are the modern day ISD, versatile enough for just about anything. A single Stalwarth is more than enough to conquer a poorly defended system. A Stalwarth and a Nemesis are about evenly matched, based on their abilities.
- Wombat IIs are similar to Stalwarths, but much smaller and weaker. Wombats are generally used to guard systems, once a Stalwarth or larger vessel has conquered it. It would take two or three Wombats to take out a Stalwarth.
- Gladius frigates are the smallest line-ships of the fleet, usually reserved to support roles, or traffic control. It would take two or three Gladius' to take out a Wombat.
For more detailed information on each ship, visit their various entries.

Entry Number: 025 Type: Canon Identity: Predator-Class Fighter Capsule:from wookiepedia Considered a successor to the older TIE/In starfighter, the Predator-class fighter was still highly maneuverable and heavily armed, but unlike most previous TIEs, it was also equipped with hyperdrives and a deflector shield generated through its blade-shaped wings. As with the earlier Chiss Clawcraft, these wings could adjust to a variety of positions, aiding the starfighter's maneuverability. They folded back fully for docking/landing mode, taking up half as much space as any of the older TIE models, therefore allowing ships to carry more of them. When docked the Predator takes up half the amount of space as the Classic TIE/in Star Fighter. It also carries four L-s 9.3 laser cannons and is exceptionally faster and more maneuverable than the once top of the line TIE intercepter. Predator-class fighters with classic TIE-style cockpits were flown by squadron leaders in the time of the New Galactic Empire. Other pilots flew fighters with horizontal slats across the front of the central fuselage.

Entry: 36 Subject: Baran Do sages & philosophy. Status: Canon & fanon. Capsule: from wookiepedia Baran Do sages meditating"Thousands of years before the Kel Dors joined the Galactic Republic, they developed their own Force tradition—the Baran Do, practitioners of which were called Sages. Since their inception, the Baran Do acted as advisors and seers to the leaders of Kel Dor society. Initially, the Sages used the Force to amplify their natural senses, allowing them to detect dangerous weather phenomena in advance, saving the lives of countless Kel Dors by warning of impending natural disasters. However, as the Baran Do began to spend more time meditating on the nature of the Force, they found they could see into the future, and they became all the more valuable to Kel Dor society by preventing wars and stopping catastrophes long in advance. This led to many Sages taking government positions and acting in a more official role." This tradition died out nearly entirely once the Kel Dors joined the Republic. The adepts that came from the Kel Dor population that would have added to the Sage's ranks were instead taken off planet to be trained by the Jedi. Their tradition fell to the wayside and was almost forgotten thus saving them from the number of Jedi purges during the Republic's history. Once the Old Republic collapsed the Sages regained their ranks and practices and rebuilt their tradition. After the Galactic civil war the Sages and the New Jedi Order worked in collaboration with the Baran Do rather than stealing their potential students from them. The philosophy: from wikipedia "Baran Do philosophy and methodology centered on finding inner peace and calm, and growing closer to the Force by heeding it. The Sages counseled against rash action, and spent a great deal of time in meditation, contemplating the mysteries of the Force. Many confused the Sages' emphasis on meditation and contemplation for apathy or a reluctance to act, but in actuality they were merely waiting for the precise, perfect moment to act, as dictated by the Force." Fanon portion: The interest in meditation came from the concept that one can gain a closeness to the force by realizing the purity of the self as force energy and nothing else. They meditate and distance themselves from their egos and their physical desires in order to realize that their physical selves are disposable and only exist on a second and lesser level of existence. The higher existence being oneness with the force itself, the closest relationship one can possibly have to the force. . This higher existence is only capable of being reached if the Individual reaching for it realizes his/her complete lack of ego, and has discovered through meditation and contemplation their way into the force itself without exactly dying. This higher existence allows the individual to be one with the force much like a force ghost would be, yet still physically alive and capable of teaching those around them the path. The Baran Do never truely touched the dark side of the force within all of their years of experience, they simply believed in a single entity, a unified force, that would be capable of enabling a poor minded individual just as much as it would a good minded individual. Similar to potentium theories there was no light there was no dark, the polarity was an illusion all within the mind of the individual. To them the darkest an individual could get was simply self destructive by hampering the long and tedious process of reaching the higher existence. By not committing good deeds and generating the good merit as the force guides, they set back their selfless connection to the force and their reach of the euphoric higher existence becomes more distant. Rarely were there ever Baran Do that were capable of using the force against another being as a Dark Jedi might. this might be due to the fact that the Baran Do emphasize inner peace and calm, but also because they have a very limited knowledge of wielding the force as a tool. The Baran Do also believe in the salvation of all sentient beings is possible, salvation being the potential to gain that level of higher existence. Even if that individual is not force sensitive nor shows a great deal of potential, eventually in a line of significant lives the soul, or the force energy of that individual will gain enough good merit to become force sensitive and then be capable of achieving the higher existence through the Baran Do tradition.

Entry: 037 Subject: Imperial Stormtrooper Status: Canon Capsule: Behold the pinnacle of armed combat soldiers. Imperial Stormtroopers are trained to be the best, most powerful infantry force in the galaxy, proudly serving the Imperials since the days of the Clone Wars. Storm Troopers first came into appearance following the declaration of the New Order, under Palpatine. By now, all troopers were clones of Jango Fett, and still donned their Phase II Clone Armor, up until the Second Battle of Kamino. They were soon supplemented by three fresh batches of clones, along with the new Phase III armor, better known as Storm Trooper Armor. At the heigh of the Galactic Civil War, the Storm Trooper was the chief sign of Imperial presence, feared as much as the Emperor. Their exploits remained legendary until the Battle of Endor, when an entire Legion was demolished by a small Rebel squad and their Ewok allies. Despite numerous immediate reforms, the Stormtroopers suffered a severe blow to their reputation, as systems began rebelling by the dozens. By the time of the Bastion Accords, Stormtroopers were little more than footsoldiers or guards. That all changed though, as the Imperial Remnant slowly expanded following the Second Galactic Civil War and the reign of Darth Cadeus. By 130 ABY, the Storm Troopers were back to full power as the Sith and Imperials joined forces once more to crush the by-now corrupt Galactic Alliance. Storm Troopers serve as the primary security and attack forces for the Imperial Navy and Army. Despite public belief, Imperial Storm Troopers do not comprise of the majority of the army, but are merely their elite units, as seen in the case of the 501st and 908th Storm Trooper Legions. Storm Troopers were handpicked warriors. Whereas Army soldiers were generally recruited, Storm Troopers were all largely grown. To be a Storm Trooper, a participant had to score above the 50th percantile in a placement test, before he was formerly invited to join the Corps. However, with the death of Jango Fett, it was inevitable that the source of the clone DNA would expire, thus forcing new, lesser batches of clones, and heavier reliance of recruiting. Eventually, there were no more clones, and the Storm Troopers had to rely entirely on the less competant recruits' loyalty and patriotism. By 130 ABY, the Corps had even branched out into including various aliens and even women, whereas the original Corps was comprised only of human males. Storm Trooper Armor consists of two parts: a black body glove and the white armor that goes underneath it. Between the two, the suit is sufficiently sealed to where it can withstand abnormal enviroment conditions including total vaccuum (temporarily), no atmosphere, and extreme heat and cold. The armor itself is made of white plastoid; it's so tough, it can protect the wearer most personal weapons, short of a point-blank shot to the face or neck. Beyond the armor, typical storm trooper gear includes an E-11 Blaster Rifle, a Wrist Comlink, and a small Thermal Detonator. When on the field, they've been known to carry travel packs, complete with rations and water for two days, a glow rod, and a tent. All in all, the capable fighting force the galaxy has come to know, admire, fear, and respect.

Entry: 038 Subject: Storm Commando Status: Canon Capsule:Storm CommandoThe pinnacle of Imperial Special Forces, the Storm Commando is an unparalleled fighting force serving the Empire in it's time of greatest need. The project was originally headed by Grand Moff Tanniel, shortly before the Battle of Yavin. The need was simple: create a group of super-elite soldiers that could do the jobs normal storm troopers couldn't handle. Storm Commandos were chosen out of the top 1% of all Storm Troopers, making them an extreme minority in the entire Imperial Army, especially since the Storm Troopers themselves are chosen out of the top 50% of all Army recruits in general. Chosen to lead the project was Crix Madine, himself a brilliant tactical officer and soldier. Despite his later defection, he did set the foundations for arguably the galaxy's most formidable fighting force since the legendary ARC Troopers of the Clone Wars. Storm Commandos usually worked in squads ranging from 4-40 members. Their primary tasks were espionage, tactical warfare, and siege breaking. Basically, if a Storm Commando couldn't get the job done, then 99/100 times it was impossible anyway. Storm Commandos wore a suit of black scout trooper armor, which was lined with a polymer called reflec, which prevented detection by sensors and other equipment. Also, they wore sound dampening equipment, and carried personal thermal detonators, in case of capture. Primary armament varied based on mission. Storm Commandos also played pivotal roles in space combat. They operated from Imperial Escort Carriers, ships designed solely to ferry the commandos around. From these carriers, commandos could be deployed in piloting TIE Hunters. On land, Storm Commandos were known to utilize modified Z-74 Speeder Bikes. Let's put it this way: if you see one of these guys, go ahead and surrender. Your death will be kinder that way.

Entry: 039 Subject: B1-Battle Droid Status: Canon Capsule: Perhaps the best-known battle droid, the B1 Battle Droid was created and used by the Trade Federation, and later CIS leading up to the Clone Wars. Thin, clumsy, and unreliable, these droids were known for their poor combat effectiveness. Typically, B1 Battle Droids were even weaker than gungans physically, and were probably just as unintelligent. Following the Battle of Naboo, the B1s no longer relied on Droid Control Ships, but could operate independantly of their own. A few armor and intelligence upgrades allowed the B1 to regain some of its glory, but it still paled in comparison to the much more effecient and powerful Clone Army. By the end of the first year of the war, the kill-death ratio for B1s was as horrendous as 50:1. Of course, this was offset by being cheap to produce, and easy to deploy. For the same amount of resources it took to clothe, arm, and feed a single division of clone troopers, the CIS could build an entire army of 100,000 strong. B1s were gradually being replaced by the hardier B2s, but the war's end ended production and development, until Darth Norfair revitalized the project in 200 ABY. -- Fanon Info Starts Here -- Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Norfair, had a need for a cheap, easily replacable army in order to steal the galaxy back from the Oronar. To meet this goal, he decided to use B1s. The B1s under his command are a bit hardier and have more intelligence than earlier models, but are still poor substitures to a reliable organic army. They are armed with modified E-5 Blaster Rifles and Concussion Grenades.

Entry: 040 Subject: B2 Super Battle Droid Status: Canon Capsule: Following the dismal quality of the B1 Battle Droids at the Battle of Naboo, the Trade Federation had need for more powerul and intelligent units to suppliment their massive, massively inefficient armies. Working together with the Baktoid Droid Foundries, they came up with the B2. The B2 is much larger and hardier than the B1, capable of taking much more damage, and dishing out much more firepower. B2s are also much stronger, capable of using heavy firearms, and even being more than strong enough with fighting most organic enemies, short of Wookiees or Gammoreans. B2 Battle Droids are essentially Heavy Infantry, meant to complement B1s at a ratio of roughly 1:20. They are also considerably more intelligent, though still not quite as adaptive as a human clone. B2s were primarily armed with wrist-mounted Tri-Shot Heavy Blasters, making them deadly accurate and powerful, albeit a bit dependant on the use of their right arm. Like the B1s, B2 production ceased at the end of the Clone Wars. -- Fanon Info Starts Here -- Like the B1s, Norfair also had B2 Battle Droids created to fill his army for much the same role as they did in the CIS. Likewise, they are adequately upgraded with more intelligence, firepower, and armor.

In fact, an OOM-series droid is for all basic purposes, the peer of any Clone Commander during the Clone Wars. They were designated by yellow coloring on their head and belly. OOM units were capable of independant thought, and excelled in tactical combat and warfare. They could even choose to disobey programming, if more important work was delegated. Such was the case when OOM-9, instead of escorting Queen Amidala to the prisoner camp as ordered, relegated the job to less adequate troops and instead sought to the eradication of the gungan species. However, despite thier advanced mental capacities, OOM-units are still about as weak as other B1 Battle Droids. Like the rest of its breathren, production ceased at the end of the Clone Wars. -- Fanon Info Starts Here -- Lord Norfair also relies on the OOM-series to command his B1s and B2s on the surface, in the absence of a trained military officer. They are used equally to commander B1s and B2s.

Entry:042 Subject: YVH-1 Status: Canon Casule: The YVH-1 was originally designed by Lando Calrissien to hunt and kill Yuuzhan Vong, at which it excelled. The droid itself was built to resemble a Yuuzhan Vong, complete with skeletal face, 2m frame, and glowing dark eyes. This appearance literally drove the Yuuzhan Vong insane, not just because it was a scarely accurate recreation, but because it was a droid, which the Vong found blasphemous. The YVH-1 was highly armed. On one arm, it had a mounted variable-output blaster, and on the other, a heavy laser cannon, sonic rifle, or projectile launcher. The droid also could be retrofitted for various jobs, whether it was camoflaged to look like a human, or act in hostile environments. The droid was invaluable in that its sensors were designed specifically for detecting Yuuzhan Vong and their creations. -- Fanon Info Starts Here -- In Lord Norfair's efforts, the Sith Lord used the YVH-1 as the basis for his new Sith Battle Droid. Simmilarly armed, the droid has been reprogrammed specifically to locate and eliminate enemy force-users, its predominant targets being Grey Jedi, at which it is insanely adept at. Intelligence wise, they are the most advanced he has, and thus have the most independence.
