Nikomas looked fairly confused at the ghost's request, but then she smiled. "Sure, I guess. I've never really blessed anyone before, but I can certainly try." The angel said, squatting down in front of the stroller. Picking up Nanaki, she cradled him in the crook of one bent arm, holding the other forward towards Peach.
She started mumbling under her breath, the language unintelligible unless one understood Elvish. The gist of the angel's rapid words were calling on whatever spirits inhabited Gaia to grant a blessing of luck and happiness on the baby.
Nanaki cooed as he was lifted into his mother's arms, before she started speaking some weird mumbo jumbo with her hand over Peach. What was she doing? He tugged on her shirt, trying to get her attention.
"Gaah!"
Nikomas blinked as she finished quickly after Nanaki's demand for attention. Looking down at him, she smiled before standing up and turning back to the ghost with a bashful look. "Well, she's got a blessing now. It might seem kinda complex, but I wanted to make sure I did it right." She said with a smile.
"She'll have good luck and happiness for as long as the blessing lasts." Nikomas said, bowing a little at the waist.

Every day on Gaia had seemed a little more strange than the last, and this day had been the strangest by far even before this point. But now, standing mere feet away from the down-to-Earth angel and her precocious lion-child, listening to the melodious language as she blessed the young princess which Azrael himself was caretaker of- well, as impossible as it was to really imagine, the man felt an odd sense of peace. Not a sense that all was right in the world- Gods no, how could he think that when everything seemed to be building toward some horrible, horrible disaster?- but that, even if something were amiss, it was conquerable.
A very odd sensation, and one that he missed immediately when it had passed.
"... Thank you, Miss Nikomas," Azrael replied quietly, immediately responding to her small gesture with a careful and deep bow of his own. He felt awkward, having nothing worth offering in return- it seemed like he ought to repay the favor in some manner, but unless the angel wanted some smoke bombs or thunder stones, he didn't have much to supply.
"Thank you kindly," Emiree echoed her gratitude, dipping into a graceful curtsy. "It means a lot that you would do this. If there is ever anyway that we can offer repayment...?" As usual, the ghost was thinking the same as her living companion, but a good deal more direct in finding a solution for the social conundrum.
Peach was very satisfied with the whole affair, though it was highly unlikely she understood any significance in the angel's actions. She smiled big nonetheless, burbling happy sounds up toward Nikomas in reply to the lovely sounds the angel had emitted toward her. It would be some time yet until she learned to say 'thank you', but surely the sentiments could carry through all the same?

The angel blushed in embarrassment, shaking her head hurriedly and waving a hand in the air. "No, no! I don't need any repayment, I don't mind doing it. Don't worry about it. All I could possibly think of to ask would be for Peach to be playmates with Nanaki. His siblings are all older, and Aqua is the only one who doesn't mind babies." She said with a crooked grin, nodding her head to their bows.
"Friendship is all I could ask for." Nikomas said with a smile, bouncing Nanaki in her arms, earning a giggle from him. There weren't many children in their neighborhood, not that she knew at least. Any sort of friends for Nanaki would be wonderful.
Nanaki burbled happily at the bouncing, before turning his head to grin at Peach. "Peea! Pay gai?" He asked, his words just intelligent enough to get the understanding of 'play again,' or something along those lines.

"I think that something could be arranged," Azrael answered, a tiny- wait, was that a smile? Really? A smile?- indeed, smile crossing his lips. Peach was much in need of a playmate as well, after all. He, Emiree and Gil wouldn't be enough to socialize the little girl, and whom could he feel more confident in allowing near the little princess than the child of an angel?
Content, maybe even a little optimistic, Azrael bowed his head again. "I look forward to meeting you again, Miss Nikomas," he offered, then started pushing Peach's buggy along again.
Whoops! They were going? So soon? But it seemed like they'd only just met!
It was impossible to feel sad, though, even if she was disappointed at the meeting's conclusion. Nanaki was too cheerful for her to start pouting! "Iiiah, su!" she replied cheerfully, waving an arm in a haphazard manner that was more up-and-down than side-to-side. Play again soon!
Whoops- the little group was starting off again, and if Azrael was going one way, Emiree could only follow. "Take care, Miss Nikomas!" She smiled at the angel, even as they began forward. "And little Nanaki too!"
This had been a good day, she decided as she matched pace with Azrael, leaning in to speak warm, happy thoughts of their new acquaintance into his ear. They really would have to do this again.
