 Cornelius jumped slightly in surprise when he was suddenly confronted by an older wini that he didn't know. Though he was proud of himself for not trying to find a place to hide this time around. When she bumped into him he squeaked slightly, and then snorted air through his nose at seeing how hyper this one seemed to be. When she asked if he liked the water he gave her his lolled tongue grin and nodded his head once before prancing in the shallows splashing around.

Cali giggled at his little squeak and jumped into the waves, running around happily and spraying water and sand about. There were lots of little shells and bits of stuff scattered about, and she was enjoying kicking them around. "Hey! Watch this!" She scooped up a cracked snail shell looking thing and kicked it high into the air, a trail of sand followed, making it look kind of like a shooting star. "Cool, huh?"

 Belle was more than pleased as Tanzaku let out a laugh, content that he was able to relax here, even if for just a moment.
"I was waiting," she replied to his comment, "I told you you were always welcome at my home, and I meant it. I never stopped hoping that one day I would look out the window and you'd be coming down the beach." The winiko offered a soft smile to him, head tilting gently at an odd angle. "The offer still stands, you know."
She tipped her head to her right down the beach, mane ruffling as she did so. "Maybe later you could stop by or something, yeah?"

 The elder carefully ran a claw along the surface of her apple, slicing out a chunk of it and popping it into her mouth. Delicious, just as she had expected. When the invitation for tonight's festivities had arrived at Capricorn's beach home, she had honestly expected a bunch of little kids screaming and chasing each other like they did so often. Having found enjoyable company, she was content to stay at the gathering for at least a little while longer.
"Well, I suppose you're right," she replied, shifting her body and drawing her large paws closer towards her body. She caught his comment and flashed a charming grin at him in response. "Well of course. I wouldn't be able to stand it if a bunch of stuck-up and rambling elders showed up, and no one else." She laughed at the thought, tail switching back and forth in the grass behind her contentedly.

 Tanzaku studied her face as they spoke. It was true, she looked older, but still not that different. If anything, it was his own memory that kept her stark and real, so that if the day came, that he made the decision to see her, it would be just like that night quite long ago. She seemed relaxed, and that made him feel at ease, a lot better than he had felt for a long, long time.
At that, he opened his mouth, then closed it, smiling sheepishly.
"I'm sorry I kept you waiting," he replied softly, tilting his head in apology. "It's just... so many things happened, and I kept telling myself that I should have stopped needing people, because bad things happened when I let myself trust someone."
At that, he closed his eyes, then opened them again, shivering as a large wave caught him at the ankles.
"But I really never stopped thinking about you," he admitted with a wry smile, looking toward where she directed. "I... I'd love to come, Belle. This time for sure."

Cornelius giggled as he watched the snail shell fly up into the air, and then started to look around for his own shell to try. Not finding any he liked he decided to pounce in the water in the direction of Cali splashing water in her direction.

((Back to Hjarn and to Aponi and Dyani))
"Haruck," was the sound Taboo made as the rock flew into his mouth. Taboo coughed and sputtered and then sat up as he was fully awake. He looked around to see who or what happened.
Ozzy turned his head from the food to see what his sister was talking about and his mouth dropped. "More toys!" He bounded over to Aponi and Dyani.

Dinah watched as her brother ran over to the elder and the adult. "Wait for me!" She jumped into the air and then ran over as well. Her eyes watching the butterflies. Monarch floated over to them following Dinah.

 Chesh looked around her, amazed at how many Winis there were, most who she had never seen before. She could tell many were already delved into their own devices, likely oblivious to the young wini that just entered.
Rather than trouble herself with this, however, she proceeded to run around the field, pouncing after the small butterflies and other flying insects, laughing as always.

"It's okay," she insisted, a soft smile crossing her lips, "It became something I could prove myself for. Lieutenant called me a fool for waiting, picked on me and teased me, but I never stopped waiting." A laugh hit her lungs, streaked mane shaking against her shoulders and neck.
"There was a point where I thought that maybe I had dreamed you," she continued, eyes drifting from his face out towards the sea's horizon, barely visible as the sun reflected on the pristine waters, "That perhaps I had never met you, but it was all a little fantasy that I had dreamed up. Then other days I would sit on the deck and say 'today's the day, he's coming today'."
Her gaze shifted back to his slate gray face, so much older now then he had been that night so long ago. "I guess you were real, yeah?" Belle laughed again, lifting a paw to bat playfully at a smooth, rounded pebble rolling her direction carried by the wave's current.

"How long do we have to stay, daddy?"
Lieutenant's voice was no longer childish like it had once been, but the tone she could apply when begging for something from Captain was still there. Flopped on her side in the grass, she stretched out her paws towards his legs, playfully batting at them like a small child. The elder looked to his favorite daughter and smiled a half-smile, finally circling the spot and lying down just behind her, folding his paws underneath his chest.
"Until your mother decides to leave, Lieu'." His reply was short and to the point, exactly had the female had expected it to be. Rolling over, Lieutenant reached next for her baby brother, catching the poor thing off-guard and pulling him into a rough bear hug.
"Let go!" he whimpered, struggling helplessly against her larger paws. Cavalier butted his head against the side of hers, tiny ram-horns not fazing her in the slightest. He squealed loudly, desperately, trying to free himself from the powerful winiko's grasp. He had almost given up hope, until-
A large shadow appeared over the brawling siblings, and Lieutenant froze as still as a rock. Her paws retracted from the baby, and Cavalier leapt away from her, scuttling quickly beneath the legs of his striped, seething mother.
"You leave him alone," Beau snapped, curved horns looking deadlier then one would have thought on the gentle elder, "Can't you see he's scared already?"
Lieutenant shrugged a bit, rolling onto her back and exposing her belly to the fading sunlight. "Was just playin'," she grumbled quietly, completing her circle and cuddling against Captain's side. The brute closed his eyes contentedly, a low laugh rumbling in the base of his throat. That was his little girl indeed.

((Back to Ozzy and Dinah))
The sight of two large feline Winis bounding in their direction sent Dyani backing up slowly until she could peer out from behind Aponi warily.
Aponi only chuckled, reaching back and placing a rather large paw on Dyani's behind and pushing her forward again. "Ah ah, milady...no hiding behind mine person. T'would defeat mine purpose in bringing you here."
Dyani let out a half-hearted growl at being shoved forward, scrabbling with her paws for a moment, but unable to fight against the elder's strength and only looking foolish in the process. "You're horrible. You realize karma's gonna' get you for this one day, right...?" Dyani muttered, growing more awkward as the felines neared. So much so, she inched away, her paws fidgeting at the sand beneath her.
Smiling, Aponi was obviously paying no attention to Dyani's objections as she turned to meet the two bounding felines. "Good day and well met, friends. My name is Aponi. My shy friend here is Dyani. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She bowed her head, careful of her antlers, and mindful as always of the butterflies flitting about.

Ozzy skidded to a halt in front of Aponi and Dyani. He noticed how the non-elder tried to hide. Did she want to play hide-and-seek? He watched the elder bow and saw the swirling butterflies. "I'm Ozzy and that's Dinah my sis. You have toys everywhere." He watched them as his tail swished back and forth.

Dinah giggled. "Yeah, they are pretty, do they taste good?" Dinah got down into a crouch as she wanted to pounce on them. She stopped when she saw the adult. "Nice to meet you both." The elder looked very regal now that she was so close. Monarch flitted around Dinah's head.

Another gift bag to be handed out! This one goes to Chesh and .hidden melody. ! The insides seems to glow a bit, but it's definitely sealed shut to prevent peeking.
The contents will be revealed at a later date!

At her voice, her comments, Tanzaku froze. He felt like a ghost on the edge, and her nostalgic tone brought him flailing back into reality, and he wanted to scream, he wanted to cry, he wanted to be the child he never could be in front of her. But he held it in.
"Belle, Belle, I..." he tasted her name on his tongue, eyes half-lidding. It was like a bittersweet sugar, and he felt himself wanting to go back for a second before continuing. "Why did you always wait for me? Why didn't you give up? I wasn't worth waiting for."
His tone was bitter, but he stared ahead, into her eyes, a laugh playing at the back of his throat.
"I don't know anymore- not since I thought I lost you. I thought I was a dream, too."
