You know you write fantasy when...
...You've got six twelve eight story ideas swimming through your head, but only manage to write down the first chapter before moving on to the next.
...Your friends have crushes on your characters.
...Your friends beg for you to write more.
...You've got fanboys. (It's true. I've had a total of three.)
...You can remember a story you started when you where twelve (And every plot detail you thought of that went along with it)
...You get story ideas while brushing your teeth (or similar situation... shower, etc.).
Oh... Hai peoples! I'm back! -^^-

when you can make a story about anything and create your own race, world, and powers to go with it all.
when you imagine every hero/heroine in any novel you read as a vampire, werewolf, etc.
when you read novels like Harry Potter, LotR, or Twilight and either a) correct the author b) create a fanfictions of it that is a novel itself.
when you create an entire universe in your head and it takes longer to write out all the details then it does to actually write your stories.
you watch a fantasy move and think "I could have made it so much better!" or " I would have done this and this instead of that!"
when you listen to a song and create a story from it, epic battle scene and all.
when you have so many stories in your head and you can't decide if this story takes place and this universe or that?
when you fall in love with your own characters.
when you wish you were your hero/heroine.
when you start going by an alias that is your characters name.
When you wish your pet would turn into a human, thus epic adventure insues.

When you spend your days and nights haunting the roleplay forums of Gaia.
And then you turn around and spend a couple days making the same fantastical rp in barton town and a guild just to see the reaction

You knkow you write fantasy when...
You get Carpel tunnel writing about a made up creature's money system and how they live.
You stay up late at night and play the story in your head like it were a movie with a music score and everything.

Hm...
You know you(or, at least, I) write fantasy when:
Your plots are so convoluted that unless you have a guide sheet even you get confused.
You constantly stress about names, worrying that they all sound the same, sound like you got them from someone else, or just sound stupid.
Argue with D&D players that color-coded dragons are completely ridiculous and are an utter mockery of all that is dragon.
Your characters are usually overpowered and must be sheared down in order for there to be a plot.
You can remember every character you've created as they are chattering with each other in some corner of your mind.
You say 'Screw you, Paris, you're just a city' to write another chapter in your book. While in Paris.
When you wonder what a troll/werewolf/naga/beholder would really smell like.
When you are willing to say 'Damn the norm!' only to have rabid Twilight fangirls try to correct you, only to have their faces bashed in by all of the discarded beginnings of your story, all the while aware of the complete hypocrisy for having had an argument about dragons earlier in the day.
When you've attempted to start a single story at least three different times.
When you really just want to write for fun.

You know you write Fantasy when...
... You read part of your story and love it. Then watch a Fantasy movie and rethink most of your story because it sounds too much like the movie.
... You make up every detail about every, single, useless fact about everything, and only about 25% of it actually goes into your story.

You know you write fantasy when....
You're still thinking of new ideas of how one writes fantasy
Spend all of your time making character profiles, then re-do them over and over adding in more information and/or making them look pretty.
Give your characters theme songs Then turn around and make theme songs for their interactions with other characters as well. And lastly, you make actual playlists to put these into and link it.
You play a game solely to understand an rp so you can join it
Look at a cheese cracker with peanut butter and suddenly get an rp idea

You know you write fantasy if... You've been killed by your characters in your dreams (That eight year old is a devil I tell you!). You have bits and pieces of your stories in fifteen different notebooks.
