After a few hours of failed attempts to investigate this event through the other people around, Nadia walked up to the sphere holding a long broken tree branch. She scratched her head and poked at it with the branch watching as it seeped into the darkness. As she withdrew the branch it looked just fine if not slightly damp. "What is this thing?" She poked into the void again this time returning with a very warm branch. "I can't see in, but the climate inside it must be changing constantly." She slowly approached the darkness, reaching into it with one arm then stepping in. A shortened gasp was all that returned.

As the gryphon landed on the bay Volk jumps off and looks around,"Ok now that we are here where are we going to go?" He jumps off and lands on the bay and looks around trying to get a idea of where they were going.

After paying the flight master, Nadia collected her equipment and started walking toward the middle of town. She pointed to a darkened dome in the center of the area. "There it is. It doesn't look any different from before."

Voolk turned slowly and blinked,"What are you talk-." He stops his sentence and notices the large black dome, his mouth drops like a rock as he sees the size and the power it seems to emit. "So where did this come from?"

Nadia shrugged and shook her head, "That's the million dollar question." Quickly, she started hustling through the city crowds and obstacles making her way toward the darkness.

Ellen jumped off her gryphon and ran to catch up with the others. When she reached them, she saw a huge black dome looming up over them."Woah..." she said breathlessly. "Thats huge!" She couldn't resist reaching into her bag and pulling out her sketchbook to begin drawing the huge structure. Her cat growled in protest when she grabbed it but snuggled back up in the bottom of her bag once it was out.
((sorry it took so long. i was busy with school >.<;; ))

Volk blinked lightly as he looked at the dome for a while then noticed Nadia was gone, he follows after her through the crowds. He tries to move through the crowd as well,"So what are you going to do about this thing?"

Ellen hurried along after them trying to scribble what she could while pushing through the crowd. She sighed and shoved her sketchpad back in her bag in defeat knowing it was pointless. "Where are we going?" She asked to either Volk or Nadia.

Nadia stood at the edge of the bubble of darkness and stared into it. Naturally she couldn't see anything within it just like before. "If I knew what this was, it would be easier to find a way to remove it." She shrugged and started pacing around the side of it. The citizens were no more helpful now than they were before.

Having circled the dome a few times, Nadia stopped in her original spot. She threw up her hands, "This bites. We have no way of clearing this thing, the idiots in charge are MIA, I should probably just drop this whole thing and go for the next job." She started walking back toward the flight master if just a little bit miffed.

Ellen ran up to Nadia. "What do you suppose we do if we can't get it down?" She looked towards the other two in their group and realized Earth was probably not happy that their princess was missing. "I'm thinking we should probably return to Earth to give them back their princess..." She sighed. "They can't be too happy about the fact that she's MIA either."

Talia was wandering around in her own mind not really paying attention to where the group was or even heading. She suddenly snapped back into reality when Earth was mentioned. "What about Earth? Are we going there?" A look of confusion crossed her face. 'Wonder what i missed...

Ellen ran over and grabbed Talia's wrist. "We need to get you back to Earth. We have to time to lose!" And with that they both sank into the Earth traveling until they found their way.
