"Alright, Water Pulse again!" Renekai called.
Bell, knowing very well that Shadow would escape soon to seek his revenge, charged up a particularly powerful Water Pulse, aimed carefully, and fired it right upon Shadow. Before checking to see how much damage had been done, she flew up high and far from Shadow, so he couldn't catch her off her guard.

Saspra watched the ice cracking through narrowed eyes. It was going to break any time now. She flashed a glance at Bell watching her fly away.Shadow's HP 300/800 (( Attack -50 Frozen 3/3 ))

Saspra ruffled her hair a little and thought of a possible attack. Considering the occasion something like Confuse Ray would work best. She shrugged. That attack would wait or not happen at all. "Shadow use Flamethrower!" She ordered hoping the attack would hit.
Shadow growled at Bell and let out a furious ball of flames in her direction.

"Fly straight up, Bell!" Renekai shouted.
Bell, without hesitation, flew right up into the air. She wasn't quite licked by the flames, although the intensive heat hurt her just enough to make her wince.
"Okay, time to cool things down. Water Pulse!"
Bell turned on her tail and faced the now-dying flames. She charged up a powerful wave of supersonic water and fired it down at Shadow.

Shadow lept gracefully away and await his next command.
"Flamethrower one more time!" She commanded. They were cutting this battle close. Too close.
Shadow jumped into the air and shot a firey ball at Bell.

This was no good! They needed to keep their lead! "Water Pulse, right through!"
Bell heaved a mighty wave out of her beak, actually being forced backwards a few inches. The waves flew through the fire, dampening them and weakening them, so that Bell was more uncomfortable than badly hurt. Truth be told, a few feathers were blackened, but at least she hadn't been reduced to ash.
While Bell was grumbling about her ruined feathers, the water pulse continued on its way. But had too much of it been evaporated by the fire?

It was a now or never moment for Confuse Ray and Saspra could only pray that it would work. "Confuse Ray Shadow!" She ordered hoping that it would hit.
Shadow jumped as the cold water splashed against his fur. He ran to a dark corner of the arena and shot out a glowing white ball at Bell.Shadow's HP 200/800 (( Attack -50 Roll Here ))

Bell stared at the glowing ball, feeling herself becoming slightly disorientated.
Renekai shook her head. Not good... But maybe they could pull through. "Water Pulse!"
Bell did her best to concentrate while charging up a water pulse.
