Shadow growled and snapped at Midnight's ear, only managing to catch a few hairs in his jaws. He spat out the hairs and jumped a few feet away from Midnight.

Saspra watched in concern at Shadow. He looked pretty tired and things would only get worse for them if this battle dragged on much longer. "Shadow use bite again!"

Shadow bounced off a rock and used it as a slight propeller as he launched at Midnight with his fangs bared.

Lisa bit her lip. Midnight was only hanging on by a thread. The next attack had to count...

"Midnight! You can do it! Bite that Vulpix one again!" Lisa cheered on her Houndour.

Midnight glared at the Vulpix, then rushed at him once again, kicking up sand in her wake. She bit at him, then rushed past, hoping the sand would obscure her enough to avoid any counter attacks.

Saspra frowned lightly as Shadow fainted, but almost immediately her frown turned upside down. It was a close fight and anyone could've snatched away the victory. She was a little disappointed that it wasn't her, but it was still a good fight. "Shadow return!" She called as the red light engulfed Shadow. "This battle was well fought!" She called over to Lisa with a smile. "You know that this means we're going to need a rematch right?" She joked at the other trainer.

Lisa called Midnight back into her pokeball and smiled back at Saspra. "That would be delightful!" She chimed happily. She was happy that she had finally won a battle, but recognized that it was luck that helped her. "So, shall we go get our Pokemon healed up? By the way, I don't think we properly introduced ourselves. My name is Lisa Mason....
