Saverio C. He lacks it? I can remember multiple 60 yard surgical implants he made. He doesn't need to throw big, consistency is more important. He runs a west coast offense. He should have played Farve for his spot. Oh well, when we face the phins week one we will see how Pennington dose with that mess. The Jets don't hype the media, and I'm sure he is a little cross about the situation. I would hate to see my friend tossed out on his a** like that. Do you know what the West Coast Offense is? It's all about the big plays . . . .

It's all about the big plays . . . . Not necessarily. Tampa Bay and Seattle used a west coast offense last season, and it was mostly lengthy consistent drives for Garcia and Hasselbeck. Though, the Jets aren't too much of a west coast offense team, with Thomas Jones and Leon Washington more likely to be included this season.

Brett Favre looked really solid in his Jets debut tonight. He had five completions out of six attempts (went 5/6), threw for 48 yards, and threw for a 4 yd. TD pass for Dustin Keller. He was sacked once.
Favre looked like he managed the offense really well. He got accustomed to the style and knew what he was doing. The Jets and Favre seem to be on the same page.

Spike The Super Saiyan i wish i wpould have seen that. the cowboys are sucking balls right now. getting shown up by the denver donkeys Eh, it's the preseason, don't worry too much. Unless it was the starters that were struggling. But I just wanted to see how Favre faired with the new offense.

Spike The Super Saiyan it is the stsarters. pacman looks impressive as a returner Well, yeah, he was a good returner with the Titans. He's also a talented defender, and to think he'll be on the bench! The Dallas secondary is really deep.

Well, now for the opposite side of the Brett Favre saga...
After being release by the Jets, QB Chad Pennington started the preseason game for his first action with the Miami Dolphins. Pennington went 5/6, for 55 yards, and no TDs or interceptions.

Ironically the first real test for both of them will be verses each other. The dolphins found a real quarterback for their team.

Yeah, but too bad the game's in Miami, so you can't see the fan reactions. Anyways, yeah, Favre vs. Pennington. I think the Jets should be able to win, because they have a much more balanced team, plus they made a lot of offseason acquisitions.

Yeah, I'm torn for my hate of the front office and my love of the team. Also, now that we have a line it's an unfair comp.

A line that added Faneca and a few others verses a line that lost Jason Taylor. Sounds pretty unfair to me.
