"Dreydonna! Use Lick!" Renekai commanded. The first attack would be crucial in this situation!
"Ghaaass!" Dreydonna said, advancing on Donut, tongue waggling out. She swooped down and prepared to lick. Hey, a Ghastly might not have any dreams to eat... But maybe Donut tasted good? ((LOL))

Lamen smacked her face as Renekai took the initiative. Well, that's what she gets for being so slow.
"Donut! Are you alright?"
The gastly mumbled, unable to move already before he had even attacked.
Taking what she heard as "Gasss..." as a no, Lamen shook her head and sighed, waiting for a sign that he could attack again. "Sorry that happened." [800/800] [Confused 1/1]

"Alright... Time for Plan B!" Renekai said, laughing a little at her failed plan. "Shadow Ball!"
Dreydonna charged up a shadow ball quickly and shot it at Donut, lowering his defence. So the paralysis hadn't worked for long enough... That's okay!

"Lick her back, Donut! Try to paralyze her!" Lamen shouted, hoping it would work this time, unlike Dreydonna's attempt.
Donut shook a little as the shadow ball hit him, lowering his defense- but he then shot out his tongue at Dreydonna, and for some unknown reason, it crackled with electricity. He said, trying his best to hit with his tongue lolling.

Dreydonna lost some altitude just in time. Then she zoomed back up, tongue flailing. She would lick that Donut in more ways than one! ((Giddet? Lick means to beat up, and she's actually licking him? 8D;; ))

Donut squirmed, under the tongue's attack as he missed his own.
"Okay, that didn't work... Let's try it again!" Lamen suggested.
Rolling his eyes, Donut homed in on Dreydonna for another paralyzing lick attack.

Dreydonna froze in mid-air, completely paralyzed. She could only move her eyes, and so she watched Donut nervously. She was completely vulnerable for several turns!
"Darnit," Renekai grumbled. She had seen it coming, but the blow still hit her hard. How would they get out of this one? "Pull through, Dreydonna!" Renekai said.

Seeing Donut's tongue finally slobber all over his opponent in a logic-defyingly paralyzing manner, Lamen couldn't help but uppercut the air with an arm. To add to the effect, she did a booming evil laugh (on purpose, to mess with Rene.) "MWA HA HAA! Good job, Donut! Now Shadow ball her!"
The silver gastly grinned, and from the mist around him a black ball formed- he slung it at Dreydonna and it hit her squarely in DA FACE.
As a matter of fact, both of the pokemon's faces were being totally violated through this battle... ((XD;; )) [600/800] [DEF -50]

Dreydonna didn't particularly mind getting attacked in the face, seeing as that was pretty much the only place to attack. Attacks went through the gaseous mist around her, so that left the head... body... The thing with the face on it. Dreydonna did her best to squirm away and failed.
Renekai chewed her lip. This battle was NOT going to go well. At all. Renekai made a mental note to challenge Lamen to a rematch.

It was all said in a tone of amusement, but how tragic was the fate of battle-loving pokemon. Especially those who only had a face to attack. Lamen kind of made a yucky face at the nearly obscene Licks, grateful that she would probably never be the target of such a- oh wait, scratch that. Renekai winced. Dreydonna was taking a real, well... a real licking. ((LOL again)) "C'mon, you're almost free!" Renekai said.
Dreydonna felt herself able to move slightly. She began to drift, slower than a snail, upward. Almost... she thought silently. This battle was quite painful! She hated not being able to protect herself, or even fight back.
