Mankind didn't follow up on the attack. Instead, he rolled into the ring and started speaking incoherently to the referee, who was completely baffled by his ramblings.
"Why do they do things like that? Don't they care? Don't they know how to treat people? What's wrong with them?"

While the ref was distracted, Doink went over to Val and tried to stomp him several times in the head.

Mankind stopped distracting the ref and headed over to Val. He stood behind him, holding his mandible claw (no socko) in the air dramatically.
