"D-destiny? I kinda do... I-i suppose..." Yuri said as she looked over at the rock again. "I d-don't know....if I could... umm... do that a-again though...." she mumbled.

"I believe that destiny brought us together, Yuri," he said softly. "And I'm sure you can do it again. I think you have to have a strong emotion and yell, maybe?"

Yuri blushed at Latte's comment, and she thought she could feel it bursting within her; the power, the emotion. She looked around quickly to choose a target to try and let it out on, setting her gaze once more on the boulder. She closed her eyes and told it to go from her to the boulder, and felt it begin to leave. When she opened her eyes, she could see it beginning to rise.

Latte smiled, knowing that Yuri had finally unlocked her power. He could feel her emotions vibrating inside her body, trying to get out. "See, as long as you believe in yourself, you can do it," he said. "We'll be the strongest pair out there."

Yuri looked back to Latte and smiled for the first time since they had been there. "Yeah!" she cheerfully said and the rock hovered for a second before jolting upward. She felt to power run out and leave her and the rock, and turned to watch it fall back down to earth.

Seeing Yuri happy finally calmed Latte down, who was secretly worried that Yuri would be sad for the rest of her life. "So, do you want to test your powers out against me? Or do you want to take a break?"

Yuri blinked. "Why w-would I want to use the powers o-on Latte?" she questioned, seein no reason that she would want to do that. She thought about the second part of the question and shrugged. "I d-don't know..."

"Well, I mean, we could have a mock battle to see which moves are the best," Latte proceeded carefully. "But if you really don't want to, we can just watch the sunset together," he said, looking at the orange ball of fire slowly sinking below the horizon.

"ohhh..." Yuri quietly said as she thought to herself. SHe couldn't decide on the one she preferred. She looked back up at Latte, her eyes asking what would he prefer to do.

Latte quietly thought about the problem. It was true he wanted to see Yuri's capabilities, but then he decided she might be too tired to go on. "Let's watch the sunset," he said, sitting down next to her.

Yuri smiled as Latte sat down next to her. "Ok." she said as she looked out to where the orange was mixing with blues and greys. She lay her head on his shoulder as she watched.

Closing his eyes, Latte drank in the warm scent of Yuri. "Puu," he said as he nuzzled her. The day was drawing to a close, and he was satisfied with his work.

Yuri closed her eyes as she felt Latte and heard his soft 'Puu'. She felt safe, and she had done what she wanted to. Now it was time for her to rest with him as the sun set on the first day of training.
(tkd reference in there; the red belt symbolizes that the sun is setting on the first day of training, and it's the final belt before black belt)
