Emo Cattle That's a nice idea, we could have them head a group for each of the aspects they represent. They could have a large bit of power but I'd be concerned with only have three maybe six or nine so as to balance out the distrobution of power. Yeah, nine'd be the best, probably.

 Should we have reelections every year or so?
Because people tend to quit Gaia or become really inactive.

That's a good idea as well.
Perhaps there should be a subforum for the election business, or can anyone think of a good place to put all the election threads from different nominees?

I think if a person becomes a bit inactive they should go on a probation period.
Whether they become active again or not, will determine if they keep the position.

Felinse That's a good idea as well. Perhaps there should be a subforum for the election business, or can anyone think of a good place to put all the election threads from different nominees? I think we should have a subforum dedicated to the elections. Otherwise, it'd be a bit too messy. ^^;

Subforums sound like a good idea, it would help keep things organized. In the subforums we could have a sticky showing past Elders as well, it would be a nice way of preserving a bit of the guilds history and we could even see if there is a specific trend in the winners.
