"Yeah, that definatly would suck. Then I would be minus a friend." He peered at the murky water curiously, eyes narrowed. "I dunno. I wouldn't put it past GD to have 'em though."
Aiden blinked at the push, and then laughed, running after Archard as best he could. It was rough going, given clunky heavy boots and the limited stride that wearing a skirt gave him, not to mention making sure he stayed decent, but he had a good time trying to catch up to the other boy.

"And I would be minus a body." Archard shuddered as he looked into the clammy looking muck that was the moat. "That guy is a real nutjob." Archard said with a chuckle. He slowed shortly after he started running, knowing the other's clothes were a big disadvantage. That was why he was always hesitant with skirts and such. But they certainly were elegent on Aiden. he smiled as Aiden caught up, resisting the urge to give a smart-alec remark. "Oh, there you are." he said, chuckling playfully.

"Just a little bit." Aiden called ahead of him, still grinning. As Archard slowed down and he caught up, the boy grinned, not terribly exhausted, given that they had only run for a couple of seconds. At the snarky little comment, his lips quirked into a grin. "Like you were soooo far ahead of me." He retorted teasingly, falling back into a walk.

Archard stretched, and sets his hands behind his head, chuckling. "Sure was." he laughed a bit, and kicked a small rock away, reaching down to pull back the flap so Milo could stick his head out. "So where are we gonna go shopping exactly, anyway? Think Milo could stay at your house for a while while we're out?"

"I'll let you think that, just for now, y'know?" The boy folded his arms behind his back, smiling and laughing all the same. "There's this mall not too far from my house. It's got a lot of cool clothing stores. And yeah! I'll leave Cosette there to keep him company." By this time they were out the gate and onto the road, sticking to the edges, walking on the grass.

Archard smiled eagerly, petting Milo's uncovered head with an idle hand. "Thank you. I promise he won't be any trouble." he reassured, looking down the road. "All sounds great!" he said with a chuckle, wondering what Aiden had in store for him. He silently wondered what he himself would look like in such fancy attire.

Aiden grinned in return. "I'm sure he won't. He seems like a very well-behaved kitty." He himself was thinking of what exactly would look good on his companion. Obviously not goth stuff. He tried to picture Archard wearing the kinds of things that HE would wear, and was hard pressed to stifle a giggle. No, no...something more natural. He couldn't even see the boy in more girlish clothing. Alright, so shirts and pants, definatly. Maybe greens? Browns would be to drab, what with Archard's coloring. And the boy's input was something that was needed. "So." He started. "Are there any types of clothing you particularly like or dislike?"

"Oh, he is." Archard said, smiling. Milo meowled from his bag, wanting out, but knowing he wouldn't be able to. Archard scritched the tabby's ears gently. He hadn't exactly pictured himself in girlish clothes either. He'd tried on a skirt once when he'd been alone and it had looked ridiculous. "Hmmm...welll, I don't like tight clothing too much...and I don't really like pink." he said, making a face.

"Right. No pink." The boy giggled. "Didn't imagine you'd like it, it doesn't...quite fit." He didn't really like pink either. Not that he had anything AGAINST the color, it just didn't look good on him at all. He really did stick to the darker colors, something that was part personal preferance and part influence from living with Audi. He pulled a disappointed face at the dislike of tight clothing, but then laughed. "I figure you've got the right idea already" Aiden motioned to what Archard was already wearing "and we've just got to find a more...flashy variation." This was going to be fun.

Archard nodded lightly, smiling. "Agreed. And...I guess tight clothing wouldn't be so bad. Tight shirts might not bother me...too much." he said, giving a weak smile. "I'll let you decide." he said with a chuckle. Aiden did seem much better at clothes and dressing up than he would ever be.

"We'll see." Was all that he would reply, with a little grin.
They had been walking long enough now - along the side of the road - that another house finally came into view. At first glance, it looked a little bit like GD's mansion, until you realized that it was a lot smaller, though no less grand. Aiden smiled, tucking his arms behind his back as he picked up the pace. He liked it at home, although being at the shop was interesting. "Almost there." He informed the boy at his side cheerfully.

Archard's eyebrows rose as her surveyed the house, smirking lightly. "Wow. You have a very nice home." he complimented, burying his hands in his pockets. It seemed the same size of Kami's if not slightly larger. Big houses were good for housing the large family of pets and other creatures Kami kept.

That was what Audi generally figured, that a large house was good when there were many pets to be kept. "Mhmm." Aiden grinned as they moved back onto the sidewalk that had appeared the closer they got to the house. "I dunno how Audi managed to swing it, but it's a pretty nice place to live. What about your house?"

Archard smiled as he followed Aiden. "It's big, about as big as this place, I'd say." he mused. "But it's surrounded on three side by a field, and there's lots of forest around, too. She keeps a lot of creatures. I guess that's why she needed so much room." he said with a chuckle. He enjoyed all the pets they had, there were almost no two alike, and they were all very fascinating...

The preteen nodded. "Mmm, that sounds nice! Our's" He motioned to the house, smiling since what he was about to say was kinda obvious "is a little more urban. But it's still got a forest too! Not allowed to go in there without Cedric as an escort tho'. 'Cause he keeps me safe." The teen pulled a face. "I'unno, I think I could probably protect myself from whatever's in there but...you know mothers." He rolled his eyes. "They're kind of crazy like that."
While he was talking, they had turned up the drive and arrived on the front porch. Aiden dug around in his his sock - it was the only place to keep a key - for a moment, bending down before he pulled it out, inserting it into the keyhole and twisting. He opened the door, and stepped aside so that Archard could get in. "After you!"
(Cedric as in mah Little Lava wolfie-thing, and obviously not our dearest princling.)
