Kashya waited in the dark, she could see him where she stood, but the light went right over her head as she crouched amid the medium height flora. She giggled silently in the covering. “Polo!” She called out, knowing it was the wrong game, but finding fun in confusing him. She covered her lips so that the giggle would muffle itself in her hands.

Kurios was still walking about, trying to keep in seeing distance of both Kashya and Julien, without being caught. His hiding was significantly less well thought out as Kashya’s, but he was far away enough that the light didn’t reach him. Then again, it made seeing hard too.

So that was allowed? Julien relaxed just a little, swinging the light back toward the sweet voice that had called out a hint. He still couldn't spot her at all, but at least now he knew she was within hearing distance, and it soothed a bit of the worry in him. "Marco?" he called out, hesitating over the word but giving it a shot anyway.

Kurios rolled his. Of course they would somehow find a way to change how the game was played. “fish out of water,” he called, not to be left out. He wondered if that counted considering they were all standing in the remaining drops of rain which hadn’t evaporated.

“Red rover, Red rover, let Julien come over,” She said in a sing song voice, playing with the droplets on the leaves nearest her. Her legs where ready to get up and run at any moment.

Once more utterly confused, Julien paused for a moment, looking back and forth between the two voices and seeing only darkness in either direction. Finally biting his lip, Julien swung the light back toward Kashya's voice, sliding it meticulously over the area starting high.

"I don't actually know how to play those games," he called out, not sure if he was supposed to just talk, or if there were other special responses.

"Well, like I said. Talking isn't against the rules," Kurios replied back.

The torch ligh swung over Kashya, making her drop down lower to teh ground. He pointed the flashlight up high for the moment, but no doubt it would be on her in not too long. She didn't bother to reply back like Kurios did.

Her form popped up from the hidding patch, not sure if the light had hit her yet, and she darted off to the left, looking for a new place to run or hide. Her feet brushed over leaves and sticks, breaking under her weaight as she stood on them. She wondered how long it would take for Julien to get into the game, and come searching among the brush, instead of staying in the clear patch. Not that she could check, he may have been right on her heels. She gave a soft laugh of glee, putting her hands up again to try and hide it unsuccesfully.

Now he'd heard something, and he knew it. Julien took off after the faint sounds of cracking branches and a child's giggle, ducking into the brush with a faint grunt of annoyance as a particularly wet branch caught him full in the face. The light from the flashlight bobbed up and down as he ran, until he could barely make sense of what was illuminated in the circle at all.

Kurios moved closer to the moving light which bounced as it's carrier ran. He stiffled a soft chuckle as Julien grunted and got the whip lash of a tree branch. "Still okay?" He asked.

Kashya had succesfuuly dodged Julien and escaped the imprisoning light which would name her as 'It'. Unfortunatly, it had been at the cost of a whack in the face to her pursuer. Not too good at this game was he?

In truth... Julien SUCKED at the game, but was perfectly happy to keep trying. "I'm okay. Just wet," he called out, beginning to question the idea of chasing after Kashya. The girl was sweet and beautiful... and clearly very, very good at the game! Of course, if he didn't catch her, then Julien didn't have to show that he was just as inept at hiding, he chuckled to himself.

"Excuses won't help you catch me," Kashya chidded. It surprised even herself how much more open she felt outsid, had Kurios picked up on it, she didn't know. But she hadn't really had the chance to be out like this yet, it was exhillerating. It was possible she was simply still getting used to the novelty of it, but even if Kurios and Julien hadn't been there, she felt so much safer here than indoors during the day.

Julien continued doggedly running after her as she fled from him, trying to keep from being drenched by various branches full of water. Height had its down side, after all. But as they ran farther and farther, he turned the light to glance back at the house and froze, catching Kurios within the circle of light. It took a few seconds before Julien called out, "Tag!," not even sure he had that correct.

Shoot! Caught following him, drat. Kurios froze in the light for a second, before realising his folly. “Simple fluke,” he said, but the laughter in his tone showed his joy at having been caught, more than the wide grin on his face did. “Guess it’s my turn to be it!” He held out his hand, gesturing to be given the torch.

Kashya returned, only a few paces ahead of where Julian stood. A light smile played on her face in the same timid way she did to everyone, and she looked to Kurios expectantly waiting for him to start counting also. “Do you hide better than you seek?” She questioned, not finding any offense in her question as some might. Kurios sent her a reproachful look, but it slid away into the carefree night as soon as it came. He started walking back to the house, counting as he did so. “One!, Two, Three,Four...”

Julien grinned wryly at her, shaking his head. "Probably not," he allowed without shame, stretching for a moment before nodding toward the right. "I'll go this way. Don't stray too far, okay?" he whispered, then ducked off, not wanting to hold her back when she was so good at the game. Between his height and pale coloring, he knew he'd stand out no matter what he did, so he did his best to settle in bushes to one side of the yard, trying to use the leaves to hide the white gleam of hair.

“...Twenty-eight, twenty-nine, Thirty! Ready or not, here I come,” Kurios shouted so as to make sure the two had the advantage. Julien would need it for sure. He turned back towards the darker area, suddenly making the connection Jules had when he first played. The torch light really didn’t stretch that far at all in the darkness. only makes the game more challenging he thought brightly, stalking right into the centre of the dark and flashing the light.

Kashya didn’t even get time to give Julien a reply, she heard Kurios coming close to the end of his count, and her simple gesture of a brief wave to the white headed teen, was enough to show she understood. She glided off easily, in search of her own place to hide.

Julien tucked himself deep into the bushes, almost not daring to breathe as he tried to keep from giving himself away in the first few seconds. Despite his blasé attitude toward not being so good at the game, losing so quickly would just be humiliating. So he crouched in the darkness and waited, watching Kurios silently and wondering if Kashya was doing the same.

Kurios had yet to see either of his protégés. Kashya he had found, took to this game like a fish to water, it had caught him off guard. But all the same, he wanted to catch her just so she could get a chance to play ‘It’ He wondered if she would be as good. He heard a movement to the left and started making for it, maybe it was Julian.

Kashya was watching Kurios, eyes like a mesmerised snake. She was looking for quick get-away routes should he come closer. This resulted in her spotting Julien, his white tuft of hair standing out against the dark bush he was hiding behind. She shook a leaf next to her, before circling wide to hide out of arms reach of Julien. Her simply look of expectancy told him exactly how silly his hiding spot was.
