Malik stopped at the gate when she jumped over. He looked for a place to hide as her waited. He didn't care if she knew he was there- but he rather stay hidden anyway. But was she just going to stay home? Was this even her home? What was she doing?
Akiko did what she was told. She did see the Millennium Puzzle glow and was a bit surprised. She looked back up and yes, Yugi looked different. She leaned in to look at him more. His eyes were sharper and stronger, but over all looked the same. She looked away with an upset face at first, feeling like he was really now just teasing her. She looked back and said, "Yug, please." She looked at the puzzle and added, "There could just be a light in here or..." She went to grab the puzzle and as soon as she did she froze. Her eyes blanked out- she lost conscousness. Her orb glowed in response to his own. Suddenly, her head hit the table, she was out cold. When she touched the puzzle, she was able to see not only their soul room, but the bits and pieces of Yami's memories of Egypt. She even saw bits a pieces of lost memories he couldn't even see. But she was still knocked out.

Amitse changed into a blood red Bikini and put on a black t-shirt and some black shorts. she wore red sandals. she then headed to the window and jumped out. landing on her feet in a special way that caused little to no pain "stupid b***h thinks I'm a moron...." she glowered as she hopped over the gate and headed towards the beach with her bag.
Atem became worried "Akiko??" he rushed to her side an looked at her with concern. "are you ok????" he asked worriedly

Malik watched as she left the property. He kept more of a distance away from her this time as he followed. From time to time, he would hide and wait for her to go even further. Where was she going?
Akiko's eyes shot open as she came to. She quickly sat up as she gasped. Her eyes darted around as she breathed heavily from shock. After realizing she was back at the park, Akiko put her hands over her face and mummbled through her hands, "What did I just see?" He voice was frightened without a doubt. She had no idea what happened or what exactly she saw. All she knew was that it scared her.

Amitse finally arrived at the beach and smiled to herself. "yes I have the beach to myself." she took off her shirt and her shorts. she then opened her bag and pulled out a towel and some sunscreen. she rubbed the sunscreen on her body. she then began to stretch before taking off her flip flops and headed towards the water. she smiled as she splashed into the waves, her worries seemed to was away.
Atem looked at her gently "you saw evidence of my past and what is inside of the Millennium Puzzle." he said calmly. "I'm sorry it frightened you... I had no control over it, but now do you believe us?"

Malik looked upto search for a place to stay and hide. Finding a ledge he could climb on to watch from above, he did so. He watched from afar as Amitse took off her clothes (except her bathing suit) and stretched. He looked away at first when she pulled off her shirt and such. He looked back to see her run to the water and splash. He lowered his head without removing his eyes from her. Marik, in the back of his head, whispered horrible and perverted things to Malik. Malik looked away and growled- focusing to block Marik, a technique he has mastered from years of practice. Once Marik was out of his mind, he looked back at Amitse. She was in such horrible condition and mental state and yet she had a haven all to herself. Malik couldn't help but feel, jealous.
Akiko's heart was finally settling down from the shock, but she was still startled. "But," she said lowering her arms and crossing them as if cold, "but it's so.... unbelievable." Her sad face looked down at her hands, "But I saw it, I saw you both. I saw this place that was nothing but mazes. I saw this place that looked like the desert. There was this girl there, she was standing in the middle of an oasis...." She bit her lip and returned to putting her hands on her arms. "Why did I see it? Does that happen to everyone?" she asked still a bit scared.

despite having a haven she was still lonely inside and her heart ached for companionship. she climbed onto one of the rocks and looked to the sky. it was so lonely but she was afraid to grow close. horrid images of what people would do to her ran through her mind. "despite having this place.... my heart still aches with loneliness. something that I nor anyone else can heal." thought of Malik and his harsh eye ran through her head and she growled. "why would that jerk ever give a crap about someone like me..... I'm just a pest in his way.. I'm always in someones way....." she got up and back a bit away from the ledge before running and jumping off the edge, diving with elegance. making a small splash in the deeper part of the beach water. her head poked up to the top after about 5 minutes. she took a deep breath and looked at the sky as she swam in place.
Atem sighed "no that never really happened to anyone before.. except for you. what you saw with the maze it the inside of my mind in a way.... I'm so confused and I can hardly remember any of my past... bits and pieces come along every now and then." he said softly "and that girl was someone very special to me that is no more.." he said sadly as he sat down across from her and looked down with a sad gaze.

Malik could not hear her words, but could tell she was talking to herself. He watched her jump off the dock- diving into the water. He waited for her to come back up, but did not see her. Was..... was she ok? He stood up, glancing about and trying to locate her. She wasn't coming up. He jumped down and ran onto the beach. When he reached the dock, he looked frantically for her. Why wasn't she coming back up? Was she trying to..... no..... she wouldn't. He knew she was depressed and had no hope, but she wouldn't..... drown herself. He was about to jump in and look for her until he saw her rise up from the water. He backed away and gasped a bit from shock. He then backed away and looked away from her. He hid the shock from his face. He was about to walk away.
The more he spoke, the more she could tell he looked different from Yugi. "Your past? I saw the desert. So are you Egyptian or Babalonian or something else?" she said as she was beginning to believe him. As he sat down, she could see his saddened face. "Someone.... important?" she repeated his words. She looked away and paused. She then said, "I didn't realize she was a person at one point. I've seen her in my dreams before. I just thought she was a symbol or just someone I made up." She paused again and touched the orb that was on her neck. "It was the day I got this- that night. It was also the day I started to recover," she added.

Amitse saw Malik "wait!" she swam to shore quickly and ran onto the beach until she caught up to him. "why did you follow me home and then here?" she asked softly as she reached out and grabbed his wrist gently "and.. then you seemed worried just a few minutes ago?" she was no longer mad and it was obvious.
Atem sighed "I'm Egyptian and she was very real..... she was my life and my world.." he said softly as he looked at the sky.

Malik turned back to face her. He ignored the first question for now- since he didn't know himself. He kept his eyes on her then looked down. "I thought you were going to drown yourself," he said then added in a lower tone, "I was worried." Even though his voice seemed worried, his face displayed that same old scowl he wore all the time. He continued to wear it because felt aggitated to say what he said. He sounded like he cared about what happens to her, and it did. But he didn't want to admit that to himself. Afterall, he was the bloodthirst Malik- a man out for revenge. He couldn't possibly care for another.
Akiko looked down sadly as well. She got the point that this woman was probably his love or something. She felt really bad for him. Afterall, he was still around and she had passed on. That must be so hard for him. "I'm sorry for you," she said. She looked up with him and asked, "Why didn't you go to the after life? Why were you in the puzzle? Do you know?" She then looked back at him and kicked her feet a bit, "She's probably waiting for you there. Probably watching over you too," she ended with a warm smile.
[[Any ideas on what Marik's plan should be to attack Yugi to get his item? I need help coming up with one ^.^' ]]

Amitse looked at him wide eyed before letting his arm go "....no one has ever cared or been concerned about what I did. however if I were to kill myself I'd make sure it was something quick.." she covered the scars on her wrists quickly and looked down "I had always been on the verge of suicide but something always kept me back before I killed myself. something deep inside told me to wait..... but I'm getting tired of waiting for things that will never come my way." she said bitterly as she sat down in the sand by her bag. "the only people who loved me aren't coming back and no one else is coming.... I'm more alone than ever before." she looked out at the ocean with a searching gaze.
Atem smiled softly at her words "I bet she is..... my soul was sealed away in this item by someone... and the item was taken apart and my memory for the most part was lost.along with it." he said quietly. "I hope I do return to my love someday. by the way Yugi likes you." he winked before giving control back to his Hikari.
Yugi looked at Akiko with a shy blush. he had heard what Atem told her and he caught the last part as well. "hehe.... told you I wasn't crazy." he said softly.

Malik looked away from her as she spoke of suicide. He didn't say anything about it because he too tried it once. The only reason he was still here was because Marik stopped him. Marik stopped him because if Malik was to die- he too would die. "and how do you know that? THat no one is coming? Unless you have the power to look into the future then you cannot say that," he said as he looked at her. He then walked up to her and grabbed her wrist, not as hard this time. "Come on, we're going," he said tugging at her so she would stand up. He wasn't very good at explaining himself. But he wanted her to follow him.
Akiko listened, feeling hopeful that he would return to her one day. However, her eyes widened and she blushed when he spoke his last sentence. "Wha..... what!?" she exclaimed before he changed. Now that she knew, she could tell very easily between the two. She looked away from him, trying to concentrate on geting rid of her blush. She looked back at him but closed her eyes and rubbed the back of her head. She replied to him, "Heh..... I guess not..... Sorry about that." She still dwelled on the sentence that Yugi liked her. Nobody really liked her before, well except for dumb jocks that were looking for someone. But they didn't count because they weren't sincere. And she refused all those guys anyway- they weren't for her. She could tell what type of people they were from the color she saw in them. It was her 'talent' as she liked to think of it. And it was always correct. But now that she thought about it, maybe it was a power that she got from the orb. But before she could think of her power and where it came from, she had another thing to think about. "Are.... you able to hear everything your counterpart says?" she said in a timid voice. She thought maybe he didn't hear what he said and she would be in the clear. However, that wasn't the fact.
[[I'll think about it too. Anyway, Atem and Amme's situation reminds me of the book 'Daunte's Inferno' Daunte's love Beatice is in heaven and Daunte is in limbo. In order for him to get to heaven with his love, a guild comes down to show Daunte the horrors of hell so that he could repent and go to heaven. I was kinda thinking that X3 ]]

Amitse grabbed her bag and had no choice to follow because she didn't feel like struggling or arguing "where are we going?" she asked calmly as she followed him.
Yugi nodded shyly as he lowered his head "It's kind of like an out of body experience....." he said softly before looking back up at her with a furious blush.

"Somewhere where you don't have to worry about those people in your household. Your not staying there tonight," he said. He walked with her to the hotel that was very close to the beach. Right outside the doors to the entrence he stopped and looked up. He reached around to grab his Millennium rod. "I'm getting you a room tonight. You can stay here for free with any thing you want to eat or get," he said as he walked in. He went up to the front desk woman and held his rod to her. She was the only one in the room besides Malik and Amitse. "You'll give us keys to two rooms and allow us free meals and anything we want," he said as the evil eye shined brightly on his forehead. He was putting the woman under his mind control. She did as he said, and gave them two keys. He put the rod away, the woman was under his control until he broke the connection off. He gave the one key to Amitse and said, "This is for your room." He then began to walk away from her. He knew he couldn't share a room with her, in fear of what Marik may do. He had to stay away from her, but couldn't leave her alone with those people who hurt her. He wouldn't never admit he was worried about her thier- no not to her he wouldn't admit it.
Akiko looked down and blushed as well. Sure, she kinda liked him but.... she didn't know he liked her. He was so nice to her when she first came to this school. He was the first friend she made. "So.... so you heard what he said.... the last thing he said?" she said in a timid voice. "I-is it true?" she said rubbing her arm a bit. The sun was already setting, the area was glazed over with orange from the sun. She then closed her eyes and smiled a bit to herself. "Well," she paused, thinking maybe she should get to know him more before she said anything, "if it is true, then perhaps you would like to spend the day with me? Like, I dunno, a date if you will?" She couldn't help but blush and lose her cool a bit after saying it. She cleared her throat a bit as she stood up. "So, if your at my house at around noon, then we'll go on a date. If it wasn't true, then don't bother coming. No hard feelings," she said with a shoulder shrug. Before he could say anything, she walked away and waved, "Remember, noon." Akiko was glad to get away, she was so nervous she thought she was shaking. At least with this time, she could think about how she felt and absorb everything in. She needed to really search her feelings.
