hy do you love Japan: I just love the manga and the anime. Ever since my friends introduced me to it 7 yrs ago. I have been drawling and watching the low quality stuff from American too long.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: No, I haven't. After one year of employment though, my friend and i are going to fly for a discounted price to Japan.
Interests: I like to read and play video games. I love RPG's.

Why do you love Japan: Many many reasons, one is the Shogunite Era, The Anime and the Music.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: Nope, but there is a 130% chance I will be going.
Interests: I like many thing, Playing MechWarrior (Draconis Combine is my Faction of course), Watching Anime (I like most of them, theres 3 I dont for reason too long too get into), Listening to J-Fan radio on WinAMP, and talking to my freinds on Gaia.

Why do you love Japan: Well, I'm half Japanese and I'm proud of my heritage and culture. It's so different from everything here in the US.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: I've been to Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, and Tokyo (maybe other places too, I can't remember)
Interests: anything Japanese, flute, piano, singing, drawing, writing...lotsa things

Why do you love Japan: I love the culture, and sushi. When ever i hear about Japan it always calms me.O.o
Interests: Playing DDR, love that game. My sis taught me how to play becuase she was so good and it i wanted to be like her on DDR. Video games, i like to play any if I'm interested in it.

Any other additional info: I have been interested in learning Nihongo since I saw my first anime with Nihongo language and English subtitles.....then after getting really interested in Ninjas and how they lived I went to a Nihongo 101 class at Rio Hondo College with Sensei Hamilton(great sensei) she taught me and many others about not only the language but the culture in Nihon too....I got hooked even though I had trouble getting thru the class(C grade) but even though I hated mornings I would always love to get up at 5:00am just to make it on time to class at 7:00am(I lived an hour away at the time)....oh and to top things off even though you probably have enough to let me join...I have played videogames since I was a little kid and watched anime almost as long....I eventualy want to get into game design and make those awesome games that got me hooked on Nihon culture ^_^

Why do you love Japan: Partly because it's my heritage, and partly because it's so damn cool. The culture, technology, customs, the works. Not just the anime.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: I've been there several times, been to too many places to list. I'm probably going again this summer.
Interests: Anime/manga, comics (yes, American ones), video games, drawing, other typical geek stuff.
Other Gaian Hang Outs: Usually the art discussion board.
Other Online Hang Outs: Several message boards, most of which relating to Jhonen Vasquez. Though he's hardly the topic of discussion in any of them.
Personality: I'm pretty quiet around people I don't know, but usually the weird/goofy/loud one around my friends. You'll usually find me in front of my computer.
Any other Additional Info: I'm half Japanese and half American, but I'm hardly fluent in Japanese. I know kana and about 200 kanji, and while I could probably get around by myself if I were left alone in Japan, I don't think I could get very far. I'd like to live there for a year or two after college, probably relying muchly on my relatives who live there. Yeah.

Why I love Japanese: Best language in the world! the works are soo beautiful and i enjoy writing in a totally different style, I love their cultural and how they treat others with respect
Been to Japan: Going to Sapporo in Hokkaidou, and Tokyo.^_^

Why do you love Japan: Well as a child I lived beside a family who had a Japanese exhcange student. Then, when I came of age I went to Japan and continued my love affair with the east.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: yrup, lived in Nagoya and visted all the majour cities excluding l'il du Okinawa
Interests: Japan (mochiron), music (anything), Kendou (sho-dan totta), History, Art, Snowboarding, chillaxing avec mon tomodachi-s.
