Dewpaw rocked back on her heels, "Yup, too many dreamberries," She said, winking. But then it was her turn to look away. She had seen distruction, her old home destroyed, and it hurt more than the first time. She had hoped more elves ahd gotten out, that she would find some sign fo life. But she found nothing, only what was left bruning the day she left, now just ashes. She blinked a moment, willing herself not to cry anymore. "Nothing interesting" she managed to say without her sorrow leaking into her voice.

Savith didn't reply. He didn't need to. The girls answered more than enough for his taste. Instead, he just kept emotions from playing on his face as he got pushed to the side by Dewpaw and floated right back to where he was at her side. It was her answer to Dancer's question, a question that earned the cat elff a light frown from Savith, that drew his attention, and he gazed at the cub for a long moment.

She hardly noted the frown as she stumbled over anything to say to get attention off her flushed face. Still thinking about it a bit she pushed it aside. The question was out and couldn't be taken back. She just wouldn't ask about it again. "Oh Dew Paw, I found a nice big cave if you would like to share it with me. Savith helped me fix it up a little bit but in time it could be nice and cozy for the both of us." She glanced back over her shoulder with a smile and a wink. "I would really like it if you did. The only bad part is it's up a bit and our bonds won't be able to get in it." She frowned a bit as she thought about it. "Maybe we could fashion some sort of stairs in time or a path."

Dewpaw nodded absently, somewhat disappointed not to hear more about the fishie and everything that happened between the cat, fish, and bird. ((Anyone else see the triangle there. Cat plays with fish and bird?)) "A cave?" she thought for a moment, trying to bring up an image of what Dancer talked about. She liked to live more in the trees, and hoped to do so again, but she had lived with her parents before, never alone. "That sounds nice. Just you and me? I'm sure Morningtail will find a way up, or something." She looked back at Savith, who seemed to be keeping silent. "Wait, if we sleep in a den, do you sleep in a nest?"

Savith glanced at Dancer, before turning his gaze toward Dewpaw and replying. "Of sorts," he said in a deadpan tone. "At least, that's what we call them, regardless of how cavernous they made be."

"If the grouchy bird goes missing chances are he's hidding away." She chuckled softly. "Yes I thought you and I could stay in the cave together. Unless you would rather stay with someone else." Here she sighed softly. Trying to make Dew see what she had she sent openly to her what the cave looked like thus far. It was very open with the rut dug for the stream of water to run through it. A small wall was built around where the water ran down the wall and hit the floor so it wouln't splatter. "If we get a few furs and a bit more light it could be cozy in time. I think anyway."

Dewpaw stared blankly ahead as the image of the cave flashed through her mind. "No, not someone else..." she was still looking at the cave in her head. She liked it, the little stream the best. "I didn't mean I didn't the cave. I'm just used to sleeping, well, in trees. But its beautiful. I can get some ravvit fur! I'm great at catching ravvits!" Well, she hadn't ever really been on a big hunt, too young. So she never really had a chance to go after anything else, like a deer or something. "Dancer, is Savith still a bird if he sleeps in a cave, or something else?" She asked, an attempt to tease Savith.

Savith glanced at Dancer with a 'yes, dancer. do tell' sort of expression in his quirked brow.

She giggled a bit at the question and looked at Savith with a warm smile. "Well birds seek shelter when they must I suppose but to be so closed in doesn't suit them. They need the freedom of the wind and air." She would never knowingly blaber things about Savith that might hurt or upset him in any way. "Still I wonder if he sings like a bird." Blue eyes sparkled at Dew Paw as she also poked a little fun at the serious friend of hers.

"He can sing?" Dewpaw bounced up and down on the balls of her feet. "You can sing?" she spun around, staring at Savith with gleeful eyes. "I didn't know you could sing... I love singing. Well, howling more often. My brother was more of a singer. Can you really sing?"
((sorry, savith, its just way too much fun.))

Savith glanced at Dancer with an expressionless look that spoke volumes: THAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNKSSSSSSSSSSSS neutral
Turning his gaze back to Dewpaw, the glider hesitated a moment before replying, "I don't do it often." There's more than a little stress on the final word in that sentance, as if he were trying to stoicly beg not to be asked to sing.

Dancer noted the voice and the look and took Dew by the hand. "Oh Dew Paw you should have seen the water Elf." She sent an image of Crosscurrent to Dew in his fishy form. His long golden hair streaked with blue, the sleek upper form of a male and the brick red tail that swished about. Then there were his eyes. Those deep forest green eyes. Did her face get hot again? Pricker bushes she wished that would stop...

Again Dewpaw stared blankly ahead for a moment, as she always did when receiving images. "He really is a fishie! Can he sing though? Singing is a plus." Dewpaw glanced at Savith, trying to figure out the sudden change in topic. She couldn't find anything in his face though. She then glanced at Dancer, looking there for a hint, but instead she saw the red tint on Dancer's cheeks, "Dreamberries again?"

Savith, catching the not so subtle change of subject, and eyeing Dancer for it, just floated along at Dewpaw's side, hands folding behind his back as he went. His brows pulled together slightly as he stretched his hurt ankle gingerly.
OOC: Editted! Messed up a name. Sorry!

The comment just made her blush more. "If you would like to meet him I'm sure he wouldn't mind. He is a bit shy though. He took me under the vast deep. You should see all the amazing things I saw." Dancer sent her immages of colorful fish, eels with large teeth, things in shells that ran around and various other pretty things.
