trendy ninja Yeata Zi Sugar Bird Fleep says the due to complaining they may not be in the cash shop after all. YAAAAAAAY! That's why I love Fleeep. Whoo Fleep! Do not get too excited. There is a chance we will not get the skins at all. The staff is tired of gaian's (Mainly the GCD and SF) complaining about them trying to make some money to keep Gaia going. When Gaia has a new sponsor, gaians complain. When Gaia releases high quality items in the cash shop, we complain. They are getting tired of it. I understand where they are coming from. All this hard work to create a fantastic event followed by ungratefulness. It hurts.

I don't mind the ads or the sponsors. I mind not being able to fully participate in a community event because of my financial status.
I understand their frustration, but I hope they understand the plight some of the users feel.

We've lost items before. We were going to get contacts as an item, but it was leaked before the launch date and Gaians never got those coloured lenses.

Fleep did seem pretty defeated when he announced the Skins being removed from Cash Shop.
I wasn't so much angry that they were in the shop, I was just angry about how they were to be distributed [potions vs equippables]. But yet I still feel bad for them.

...We... We were going to get centaur skins? ;_; And now... We don't? GODS ABOVE GAIA!! I wouldn't have minded them being in the cash shop because I would have bought them in the marketplace... But now I might not get them? I've been waiting for forever for centaur skins...

I heard they were going to be released in the CS, but at very low/reasonable prices. I'm pretty sure they were going to be in the $0.50-.75 range. Everyone in the SF and GCD exploded before the admins could clarify anything, and now we aren't going to get the skins.
I am kinda getting sick of the way the users complain about how the site is "capitalist" when they're just trying to keep a profit margin for an online site.
Next thing you know, they'll just change it to pay-to-play.

Edit: Ack, found it. And I must say, I've never actually seen him down before, much less like this. Gaia's users are getting spoiled these days.

Fleep has been talking and apparently we will get the skins and they won't be in the cash shop. ^_^ Also, they'll be around for a long time because the devs put a lot of work into them.

Awww. Saddened admins make the users weep.
I am glad they are still going to give us the skins. If they are put in the cash shop then I'll just have to buy them from the marketplace.
